False teaching is on the rise, which Scripture tells us will occur. There are numerous individuals who have come to be known as "discernment ministries", calling attention to aberrant practices and false teachings that are leading many astray. Though the Bible does not mention discernment ministers, it does instruct us as Christians to use proper discernment, which includes testing the spirit that is bringing a particular doctrine or teaching.

However, there is disagreement as to how loving it is to call out false teachings and to name names. Some even believe that doing such things brings division to the body of Christ and is unloving in its intent.

Education is a valuable thing, and it can be of great benefit to us depending on what we are wanting to learn. There are some reputable Bible colleges and seminaries providing solid Biblical teaching for those who want to understand God's Word. There are also institutions established where the label "Bible college" is in name only. Unfortunately, these types of schools lack credentials and even teach classes that seemingly indoctrinate with teachings associated with the New Apostolic Reformation. What is the standard of truth for the born-again believer in Christ? Undoubtedly, the answer to this question should be the written Word of God. The Word of Faith includes several components as its foundation of beliefs. One of those beliefs is the "little gods" doctrine. Dominion Theology is a popular belief held among those who believe that man gave up his authority to Satan in the garden, but now, we have authority back through Christ to rule and to bring heaven to earth.
