The FTC has been putting in work this year, suggesting a ban on noncompetes, as a way to protect employees, however they may be overstepping their boundaries. The Accounting Top 100 Firms report also came out earlier this quarter, and Drew and Mike get into the stats of what it says about the industry. Finally, consultants and advisory services are getting the recognition they deserve - which means someone is actually trying to figure out what it even means that people do in these service lines, and how necessary or unnecessary their work is!
