Today I am joined by Patrick Snyder. Pat is the Head Coach of Real Central NJ a USL Division 2 U23 Men’s team based in Trenton New Jersey. I first met Pat in 2015 when we were both participants on the USSF C License in Orangeburg New York. Pat is also a former College Head coach as well as coaching club travel soccer for several years. Today I am joined by my coaching friend Alistair Lonsdale. Alistair is the Director of Coever Coaching Connecticut. I first met Aly back in 2006 when I first started coaching for Noga Soccer. Aly is a certified Coerver methodology trainer as well as holding a Premier Diploma from the NSCAA. In today’s episode we talk about how Alys got involved with Coever and learn a little more about their training methods and his role with the organization in the state of Connecticut.

Today I am joined by Mark Nash. Mark is the Director of Coaching at Stony Brook Soccer club. I first met mark in 2009 when we were both participants on the NSCAA Advanced National at Hofstra University. Since then I have followed Marks career from a distance, especially through his social medial handles.

Mark has been with Stony Brook Soccer Club since 2003 and has been coaching for 25 years. Mark holds a NSCAA Advanced National and USSF License. In today’s episode we discuss Marks time coaching for Stony Brook and how his role in the club has evolved from volunteer assistant to Full time Director of Coaching.

Today I am joined by Dan Giorgi. Dan is currently a youth Coach for Gold Coast FC and DOC of the Oyster Bay East Norwich soccer club. Dan is an active soccer player in the tri state area and former club player for Massapequa. I first met Dan this past summer as we both coached summer camps for Gold Coast FC in the town of Oyster Bay. I was interested to hear of Dan’s local semiprofessional playing experience in the New York/Tri state but I was especially intrigued about his recent adventure of playing oversees in Liverpool, England. In today’s episode we discuss Dan’s playing journey from youth to Semi pro and how he has become an established youth coach here on Long Island. Enda Crehan is the newly appointed Mens Head coach at Christian Brothers University in Memphis Tennessee. Enda was most recently the men’s head coach at Ferum College and DOC at Piedmont Youth Soccer League, a position he held for over 10 years.

Enda holds a UEFA B license, NSCAA Premier and Master Coach Diploma as well as a MBA business leadership and bachelors in International business marketing.

I first met Enda in 2008 when we both coached for Noga Soccer at the Terryville Soccer club here on Long Island. We had recently reconnected through the North American Irish coaches webinars.

In today’s episode we discuss Enda’s route into coaching and moving to the U.S as well as his academic achievements. We talk about how his down to earth approach and interpersonal skills have helped him gain contacts and lifelong friendships that have helped Enda in furthering his career as a successful college and club coach.

Andrew Kummerer is currently the Director of Youth Soccer at FC Delco and the Owner/Camp Director for Star Soccer Academy. Andrew is also a former Boys High School coach at Malvern Prep and Men’s Assistant Coach at Elizabethtown where he also played for 4 years gaining bachelors in business administration. I first met Andrew in 2015 when we were both participants of the USSF C license in Orangeburg NY. Salma Tarik former Hofstra University D1 and Egyptian national team player. Salma currently the Girls Technical Director at Pro Game United and the Long Island Director of Programs for the Special Olympics. Salma has also coached Men’s and Women’s college soccer as well as being a Middle School Physical Education teacher and former NSCAA 30 under 30 participant.

I first met Salma in 2014 when we both coached Summer Camps and clinics for East Meadow Soccer Club in conjunction with Nassau County Summer Camp program, but I have followed her career from a distance for several years.

Today we talk about the mentality needed to be a D1 Athlete and her role as an International leader. We also talk about Salma’s various roles as a role model and mentor for youth athletes, especially the Female Soccer players on Long Island.

Stephanie Savino is currently the Retail Development Director for Major League Soccer and Assistant coach at Asphalt Green Soccer Cub in NYC. Steph is a former women’s college coach with the Pratt institute and dual sport athlete at Siena College where he gained a bachelor’s of science in Marketing. Steph is also gained a USSF C license and Advacned National with the United Soccer Coaches. I came into contact with Steph via her popular Friday afternoon CoachesWithCoffee Zoom call. I later found out that Steph recently graduated from Ohio University with a master of science in Recreation and Sport Science with a concentration in Soccer Coaching. Today we will talk about how Steph was able to combine her love of soccer and fashion into a fulltime career and how she has been able to achieve success on and off the field with her continued education and personal growth.
