This was a fun week in Red Sox baseball. All good things, all good things. Except Jordan Hicks and losing to the Pirates.

Payton Tolle has arrived. He's a shover. 8ks in 5.1IP is as much as you could ask for. I'm glad the developers took their time with this one.

Jack admits to having the tingles. He thinks this is a special team. It might be love.

Nothing tastes worse than Orioles losses. Nothing tastes better than Yankee tears. 27 rings can't stand up to the awesome might of a dozen semi-drunk, bearded, Irish baseball fans.

First, stop leaving the bases loaded against the Orioles. Stop it. Stop leaving the bases loaded in general, really. You're the Red Sox. Start acting like it.

Anyway, the Twitter gang took New York City. We were in person to watch Garrett Crochet put the Yankees to bed and strike out Aaron Judge for his 200th K this season. Ask me if it gets better than that.

It does actually. There was a Yankees fan behind us who we escorted out after watching Paul Blackburn collapse.

We like to think the Reds series was promising. We describe it in this episode as eating something delicious followed by eating something terrible, in so many words.

We like to think the Nationals series was awesome. Stop using Greg Weissert, you animals.

The hosts went on excursions this week. Jack made a pilgrimage to Worcester to see everyone's darling boy Masataka Yoshida rehab. Ian went to Fenway for a little banana ball. They both return with good news of the state of baseball.

Would you rather go to the White House or the zoo? Apparently the zoo is awesome according to former DC area native, Jack Webster. Reminder! We are not a political podcast!
