| Thursday Club: Some Might Jay | 29 Aug 2024 | 01:00:54 | |
Fulham are through to Round 3 of the Carabao Cup, where it's been revealed that a trip to Deepdale awaits Marco Silva's Whites. Goals from Raul Jimenez and Jay Stansfield, who struck against the club he was on loan at last season, saw Fulham into the hat for the next round; but the performance left some things to be desired.
We also briefly look at Fulham's win over Leicester in the Premier League at the weekend, before looking onwards to Saturday's trip to Portman Road. Whilst it's a game we can't wait for in terms of fan experience, it's also a potentially tricky game - as it's the Tractor Boys first real winnable fixture of the season, and they'll be bang up for it in Suffolk.
Finally, we take a look through your emails, discussing some of our West London rivals, a potential new signing in Ernest Nuamah from Lyon, and some other bits and bobs, before we wrap things up. "

| All Hale Fulham | 26 Aug 2024 | 01:06:17 | |
The first win of the season is always a sweet one, especially when it comes from the first home outing. Craven Cottage was alive with optimism on Saturday, after goals from new signing Emile Smith Rowe and Alex Iwobi got us over the line against the Foxes.
Fulham were the better team throughout the game. This, paired with a "feel good factor" around the club, a brilliant manager, and exciting new signings yet to be fully bedded in, and there are many reasons to be cheerful this week.
In part 1 we discuss the game; what ESR is capable of within this Fulham side, the manner in which we conceded, and the midfield conundrum. In part 2 we answer some of your questions.

Now the Euros and Copa America have come to their conclusions, it's back to club matters, so Jack and Sammy returned to the studio to talk all things Fulham - with just 33 days to go before that season opener against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
We discuss the departures of João Palhinha and Bobby De Cordova-Reid in a bit more depth, before turning our attention to potential incomings - looking at a host of names strongly linked, including Emile Smith-Rowe, Richard Rios, Andre, Vinicius Souza, Trevoh Chalobah and more.
There's also time to discuss some of the performances of our internationals, with Luc de Fougerolles getting a start in Canada's third-place playoff and Timmy Castagne holding his own even in a poor Belgium display.

On Sunday evening, Fulham were triumphant in their opening Premier League Summer Series match against Brentford in Philadelphia. We review the match, which saw three lovely goals from the Whites, and quite a bit of ropey defending on both sides.
We also review the incredible weekend that we had in the City of Brotherly Love, all down to the incredible hospitality shown by the Fulhamerica crew that turned out on Saturday and Sunday.
Finally, we look at all the latest transfer rumours - including the Mitro saga's newest twists and turns, plus more positive rumours about potential deals for Calvin Bassey, Mohammed Salisu and Raúl Jiménez.

It's turning out to be quite the depressing window. In today's FFC transfer show, we look at Al-Hilal's move for Aleksandar Mitrovic, who appears to have had his head turned by the Saudi Arabian club. Is there any hope of Mitro staying at the cottage?
We also look at Marco Silva's continued link with the middle east, before discussing Willian's apparent contract renewal at Fulham.
Finally, we end by discussing Calum Hudson-Odoi potentially joining the club, and the other rumours doing the rounds.

| Fulham Folklore: The Michael Jackson Statue | 13 Jul 2023 | 00:50:21 | |
During Mohamed Al-Fayed’s early tenure at Fulham, it was fairly normal him to bring in a new exotic name to Craven Cottage. In April 1999, he really went one step further by bringing him to our Division Two match against Wigan Athletic.
Michael Jackson’s solitary visit to the cottage had such a profound effect on Al-Fayed that after his death in 2009, he decided to honour the late king of pop, with a statue in tribute at the Hammersmith End.
In today's Fulham Folklore, we look back at the series of events that lead to a 7ft 6 inch model of MJ being installed at Cottage, and the resulting curse that his removal lead to.

| Ciao to Joao | 12 Jul 2024 | 00:30:20 | |
In amongst all the craziness of England's run to the Euro 2024 final, there has been some transfer activity at Motspur Park. Sadly, it's not in the direction we like as fan favourites Joao Palhinha and Bobby De Cordova Reid have departed for Bayern Munich and Leicester respectively.
On today's episode, which Sammy and George recorded in Germany following the semi-final win, we touch on those departures and discuss how Fulham can begin to replace them with just 35 days to go until the start of the new Premier League season.

| FFC Transfer Show: Will Marco Silva stay? | 03 Jul 2023 | 00:54:12 | |
So far this transfer window, the narrative has been much more about who might leave Craven Cottage rather than who might join. One individual that we probably didn't expect to be swayed was Marco Silva, but this weekend it was revealed that Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal offered Marco a staggering £17m per year deal. We ask whether Marco will be tempted away or whether his ambitions will keep him in England.
Also in this episode, we discuss Willian and Manor Solomon's likely exits from FFC. Finally, we get around to chatting about some players who might join Fulham, with Calum Hudson-Odoi and AS Roma's Roger Ibanez on the agenda.

| Shirt, Sponsors, Samba | 30 Jun 2023 | 00:35:08 | |
Much earlier than usual, Fulham have released their new home kit. In this episode, we give our thoughts on the design, which was probably about as mixed as the online reaction.
Also, we chat about Fulham's new sponsor SBOTOP, an asian-facing online bookmaker and the ethics behind FFC choosing another gambling partner. Finally, we react to the rumours that Willian won't be signing a new contract with the club.

| Fulham Folklore: Rene Meulensteen's 76 day reign | 23 Jun 2023 | 01:01:51 | |
Rene Meulensteen may have spent only two and a half months in charge of Fulham, but he packed more drama into that spell than many managers do in years.
Welcome to the inaugural Fulham Folklore, where we look at iconic Fulham players, moments, managers and seasons. And we start today, with arguably the birth of Fulham’s banter era.
Late goals, annihilating defeats, impromptu badminton matches and even a transfer chase for 2013’s bad boy of football.
In this episode, Sammy, Drew and Farrell take a trip down memory lane, to Fulham's 13/14 relegation campaign to chart what went wrong for Rene, and whether his sacking on Valentine's Day was harsh or fair.

| FFC Transfer Show: Which players might leave? | 19 Jun 2023 | 00:56:49 | |
In this inaugral edition of the FFC Transfer Show, we look at the rumours swirling about which Fulham players will leave this summer. Joao Palhinha, Tosin Adarabioyo and Manor Solomon are all subjects of speculation, but is there any substance to them? We also look at the Willian contract situation, and whether he will look to hold out for a longer deal.
There's less movement on the incoming front, but still a few bits to get our teeth into. We assess whether long-term target Justin Kliuvert might happen, and whether Fiorentina's Igor would suit Fulham, despite his Conference League final gaffe.

One of the staples of the Fulhamish podcast this year has been 'This'll Catch On', a weekly round-up of Fulham chant suggestions, which very rarely catch on. Despite a lack of success in the terraces, we've had some incredible submissions that have blown us away in humour and musicality.
To honour all your submissions, we've rounded up our favourite 15 entries from the past 12 months into a chart. Which song will come out on top as the best of the season?
Also, in part one, we briefly reacted to Thursday's fixture announcement and Fulham's released player list which was also announced earlier in the week.

For the final time this season, Jack Kelly and Joe Sansom reconvene to chat all things Fulham. On this episode, they discuss their favourite memories from the 22/23 season - and laud many of the incredible individual performances that we've seen.
In part two, it's a look at what Fulham need to do this summer in the transfer window. Which positions do FFC need to upgrade? And how much ambition will the Khans show in the market?
| 22/23 Season Review | 01 Jun 2023 | 01:03:12 | |
As the season is over, it's only right that we do a full review of it. A 10th place finish, an FA Cup quarter final and records smashed all over the shop; fair to say this was a fun one to record!
First of all, we have a final word on Sunday's defeat to Manchester United, and then we give out our awards for the season. We give out some obvious awards, and some less obvious ones too.
In part 2, we review our pre-season predictions, which for the most part weren't too bad! We end the podcast by answering some transfer questions and playing the final 'this'll catch on' of the season.

| 24/25 Fixture List Reaction | 20 Jun 2024 | 00:44:42 | |
In the midst of the Euros madness, the Premier League decided that it would be an opportune moment to drop next season's fixtures, so we sat down to discuss the big days in the calendar, where Fulham look to have nice runs and where things could get a little bit sticky, as well as a Boxing Day derby at the Bridge and a final away game at Legoland.
There's time for a quick chat around Timmy Castagne and Saša Lukic, who both got off to difficult starts at the Euros, before we move on to a discussion about the announcement of the Fan Advisory Board, some transfer news (mostly outgoings right now) and a look at Andreas Pereira's comments to the Brazilian press on international duty - and if they're quite as bad as being made out to be.

| No Mo Yo-Yo | 29 May 2023 | 00:59:06 | |
Welcome to the final post-game podcast of the 22/23 season! What a season it has been. No club record points in the end, but Fulham have secured a top-half finish, earning 52 points in the process, and finished above Chelsea for the first time in 40 years. Add in most Premier League wins in a season, most Premier League away wins in a season, most goals in top flight since 1967-68, 18 points clear of the drop, and our annoying yo-yo status well and truly binned.
On today’s show we look back over the 2-1 defeat at our bogey ground Old Trafford, answer a few of your questions, look ahead to next season, and just generally bask in the glory of what Fulham have achieved.

Also in this episode, we briefly look-back at Saturday's draw against Palace, before diving into a few other topics. Firstly, should Harrison Reed have been selected for England's upcoming matches? Also, who is Edouard Michut, and will Fulham sign him?

| Top Ten Crystallised | 22 May 2023 | 00:58:56 | |
The sun was shining on Craven Cottage this Saturday, as the curtain fell on what was a sensational home campaign for the Whites. Sadly, a Joel Ward equaliser late into the second half denied Fulham the win, but a Mitro brace and plenty of optimism for next season ensured fans left The Cottage with smiles on their faces.
George Cooper, Dom Betts, Dan Cooke and AF analyse the exciting score-draw, look back on some of their favourite moments at The Cottage this season, and in part 2 answer some listener questions.

| Fulham Palace Party | 18 May 2023 | 01:05:17 | |
This Saturday, Fulham look to beat a club Premier League points record that has stood for 14 years. A win over Roy Hodgson's Crystal Palace will be enough to do it, but are we underestimating the threat that the Eagles could pose us?
In this episode we preview the match and have the final word from Southampton, which leads to an existential chat about how long any team outside the top six can ever hope to stay in the Premier League before the looming spectre of relegation eventually sucks you in. That chat was slightly inspired by this article here, as referenced in the podcast.
In part two, Sammy speaks to Dan Morgan from James' Place - a charity to save suicidal men in their darkest hours. As it's Mental Health Awareness Week, they are looking to appeal to football fans in particular to recognise the potential symptoms of depression and take action before problems manifest. Fulham may have wracked up three consecutive defeats, but it's far from doom and gloom, as FFC put in another impressive shift against one of the league's most in-form sides. In this episode, we look back at Wednesday's game, which went Liverpool's way due to an extremely soft penalty call by referee Stuart Atwell.
In part two, we preview our game against Leicester at the Cottage, who are deep in the relegation fight. Will Fulham be able to sink another relegation threatened side and keep the foxes down in the mire?
Finally, we end the show by answering some of your emails on everything from a food/drink boycott to Marco Silva's contract.

It says something when losing to a team narrowly is considered a decent outcome, but these days against Manchester City, that is sadly the case. In this episode we look back at Sunday's game against the champions-elect, as Fulham pushed the Citizens all the way and were unlucky not to get a point against Pep Guardiola's side.
We also discuss Tim Ream and Andreas Pereira's hugely unfortunate injuries, and the impact that they will have on the rest of the campaign, plus we answer a load of your questions.
Finally, we end the show by previewing Wednesday's trip to Liverpool, the home side have won four in a row, but can Fulham take advantage of the reds' leaky defence?

Fulham have taken part in some very memorable matches this season, but Tuesday night's game Aston Villa certainly wasn't one of them. The travelling fans witnessed a pretty lifeless performance, with only one shot on goal and that happened within the first 30 seconds.
In this episode we review the very little that did happen at Villa Park on Tuesday, and then in part two we preview Sunday's game against Manchester City. Have Fulham got any chance against the world's best football team?
Finally in part 3, we answer some of your questions on Fulham being the "lone horse at the national" and there's some more ticket price reaction. Finally, we end with a couple of great 'This'll Catch On' submissions at the end.

| Silva Leeds Return | 20 Apr 2023 | 01:21:50 | |
Fulham fans had a spring in their step this week after our boy's convincing away win at Goodison Park, which re-railed the Fulham train that had taken a little detour of late... Historically at Everton, wins had been as rare as Harrison Reed goals, but we were treated to both this weekend. Further strikes from Harry Wilson and Dan James sealed off a lovely sunny afternoon for Fulham fans across the land, and ensured we can all look forward to the home tie against Leeds this Saturday.
This week, it's the Thursday Club as you’ve never seen it before as Coops and Jack Collins are joined by PA Sport's Fulham correspondent Sonia Twigg.
In part 1 the team have the final word on the Everton game and touch upon the club's lack of response regarding the season ticket prices controversy. In part two, Sammy speaks to Chris Frank (@CottageAnalytic) all about Fulham's 21/22 accounts and what Fulham's latest FFP position is. You can read more of Chris' analysis on his blog here.
Then, we top off a bumper episode with a look ahead to the Leeds fixture, your listener questions and everybody's favourite: This Will Catch On.

| Life After Forty | 16 Apr 2023 | 00:46:22 | |
Beach? What Beach? On Saturday, Fulham recorded a sixth away win of the season, as Marco Silva's men put three goals past his former side.
It was an impressive victory that saw our run of four consecutive league defeats come to an end. It also was a landmark victory that took Fulham past that all important forty point mark.
Speaking of landmarks, this is our 500th podcast, but it's still the usual Fulhamish fare. We'll break down the match, look at what this means for Fulham's sesaon and answer your questions.

This weekend is another opportunity for Fulham to finally get to 40 points, and once again it's against a relegation threatened side, as we visit Goodison Park to take on Sean Dyche's Everton. Can we take advantage of Doucoure's suspension and claim a rare win up in Liverpool?
Also in this episode, we speak to Tom Greatrex from the Fulham Supporter's Trust about the season ticket price announcement by the club, which has risen in all areas by a minimum of 18%.
Finally, it's time for some questions and then a quick rendition of This'll Catch On.

If this season had been a runaway success, then the train is very much coming off the rails. On Saturday, Fulham recorded their fifth defeat in a row, this time at the hands of West Ham, who hadn't won an away game since August.
In this episode, we look back at the key incidents, with Fulham's attacking play extremely predictable and arguably, Parker-esque. What can Silva do to rectify this run, and avoid a messy end to the campaign?

It's not been the greatest return after the international break for Fulham, first there was the defeat to Bournemouth and then this week Aleksandar Mitrovic and Marco Silva's bans for their respective red cards against Manchester United were confirmed.
In this episode we react to the length of those bans, plus we give the final word on last Saturday's match down on the south coast. In part two, we look ahead to this weekend's game against West Ham, who were thrashed last night by Newcastle. Can we call this an absolute must win match for Fulham?
Finally, we answer a question about our recent run of results and, as ever, there's a little This'll Catch On entry at the end for us all to enjoy.

| Cherries On Top | 03 Apr 2023 | 01:01:34 | |
Not the day out by the seaside we were all hoping for... Fulham started brilliantly, dazzling Bournemouth with our intensity and passing in the opening spell, and were justly rewarded after a superbly worked move was finished by Andreas.
However, shortly afterwards the wheels well and truly fell off...
The Cherries, who are of course fighting for their lives, just seemed to want it more in the second half. A worldie from Tavernier and a strange tap-in from Solanke earned Bournemouth all three points... and deservedly so.
Coops, Dan, Jarms and Alex try and assess what went wrong, ask what needs to be done by Marco to address this dip in form, and question what the rest of the season has in store for us. In part 2 we answer some of your listener questions.

This episode is a strictly FA Cup quarter-final free zone, as we look ahead to Fulham's return to action against a Jekyll and Hide Bournemouth side. We look at the threat that the Cherries will pose, and how FFC can set-up without Mitro and Willian.
Also in this episode, we chat to Jon Mackenzie from Tifo, who has recently done a video all about how Fulham are exceeding their underlying numbers this season. We chat about our differing record against top and bottom half teams, and the importance of Bernd Leno in net. You can check out Jon's video here.
Finally, we have some questions about Tom Cairney's captaincy and Tony Khan's perception, before This'll Catch On as ever.

| Unforgettable: Fulham 4-1 Juventus | 27 Mar 2023 | 00:39:32 | |
It was one of the greatest nights ever at Craven Cottage. Back in 2010, Fulham did the impossible, coming back from 4-1 down on aggregate against Juventus, to record a famous win against the Old Lady and a place in the Europa League quarter-finals.
This is a re-release from our 'unforgettable' series, where we reminisce over special FFC moments and recount the tales of those famous events. In this episode ask if the Juventus win was the greatest performance ever by a Fulham team, and we also ponder whether a night like that could ever happen again.
Narrated by Sammy James; featuring Philippe Auclair, Adam Digby, Farrell Monk, Jack Collins, Brede Hangeland.

It's FA Cup quarter final time. This Sunday, Fulham travel to Manchester United in hope of picking up a famous win that will book a trip to Wembley. Whilst it's been a tough couple of weeks for the Whites, hopefully energy will be renewed amongst the lads for what is a massive game at Old Trafford.

| Trossed and Turned | 13 Mar 2023 | 00:52:52 | |
In this podcast Coops, Dan, Dom and Stephen look back at what went wrong, as league leaders Arsenal breezed past Fulham, to secure a very easy 3-0 victory at Craven Cottage. Fulham, who were without key players Willian and Joao Paulinha, never really got going and conceded 3 soft goals in the first half, and whilst they improved in the second (no doubt after a Marco Silva half-time tongue lashing) it sadly was a case of too little, too late. As Mick Jagger (?!) watched on from the Cottage, Fulham’s lacklustre performance ensured fans left without getting any satisfaction. Many felt a result like this has been coming and whilst it’s obviously disappointing, we have to remind ourselves that Arsenal are very, very good at football and we’ve still got plenty to look forward to this season… namely our FA Cup quarter final clash against Man United, who will be without their own midfield talisman. We breakdown all of Sunday’s action in the first half and answer your questions in the second.
