| Why Having a Clear Plan is Key to Falling Back in Love with your Business | 15 Nov 2024 | 00:11:30 | |
In this first-ever solo episode of Focus on the Fun Stuff, I’m pulling back the curtain on a big lesson I learned this year from a surprisingly small mistake. After more than 16 years running Mi PA, I’ve seen all the highs, lows, and everything in between, but these past six months? Let’s just say, we hit a “porridge” stint—progress slowed, the team felt less connected, and even my own joy took a hit. So what went wrong? Turns out, the answer was right in front of me: six months ago, I took down our 60-month growth plan from the office wall, and that one change had a huge ripple effect. Without that clear vision front and center, we lost that unified sense of purpose that fueled us during our rapid growth from 2020 to 2023. With no roadmap to rally around, we lost some of our spark. In this episode, I’m diving deep into:
If you’re feeling a little lost in your business or just lacking that usual drive, tune in for insights on how a strong vision can ground you, motivate your team, and keep the joy in your journey. Get ready to head into 2025 with clarity and purpose! This episode is for anyone wanting to make sure their next steps are aligned with their goals, growth, and enjoyment in business. | Before You Chase the Next Goal, Do This One Thing First | 21 Feb 2025 | 00:16:09 | |
This week on Focus on the Fun Stuff, I’m delving into something that so many business owners (myself included!) struggle with—actually celebrating our progress instead of constantly chasing the next goal. If you’ve ever found yourself hitting a milestone and immediately thinking, what’s next? without stopping to acknowledge how far you’ve come, this episode is for you. Inspired by Dan Sullivan’s book, "The Gap and the Gain," I explore how high achievers often live in "the gap"—always focused on where they want to be, instead of appreciating how much they’ve already achieved. And trust me, this mindset shift is a game-changer. 💡 In this episode, I’ll share: ✔️ How I’ve personally struggled with this (and what I’ve done to change it) ✔️ Why shifting your mindset from gap to gain can make you a happier and more motivated entrepreneur ✔️ The small but powerful habits I’ve introduced to celebrate progress, like gratitude practices, journaling, and even monthly celebration dinners ✔️ How acknowledging your wins can actually help you grow your business faster This is a short but impactful episode that will help you find more joy in your journey—because success isn’t just about the next big goal, it’s about appreciating how far you’ve already come. 🎧 Listen now and start celebrating your wins today!
