GROW with Sarah Alun Jones & Chris Narenda Haigh
Season 1 · Episode 2
jeudi 28 juillet 2022 • Duration 44:49
In this weeks episode I spoke to Sarah and Chris from @wearegrow about both their respective journeys into growing and the amazing Charity, GROW.
Our conversations covered everything from the barriers in growing careers (unpaid traineeships/ volunteering) that prevent the diversification of the sector and how these can be dismantled, how farms and schools can work together, and why sustainable food growing ought to be treated as seriously as any other school subject (irrespective of an individuals access to land).
This episode also includes helpful advice on how to enter the growing sector if you might be interested and I have included lots of helpful links from the conversation in the show notes.
