Talking with Director Dean Valentino and Brandon Chappus (Hercule Poirot) about the upcoming production of Ken Ludwig’s adaptation of the Agatha Christie novel Murder on the Orient Express.

I am really excited to see this cast of 12 wonderful performers bring this larger than life murder mystery to the stage at the Kordazone Theatre in Windsor, Ontario Canada. Part of my excitement is that I have not read this book or seen any productions. But I did catch a snippet of a rehearsal and it looks like it will be great!

Gavin Michael Booth, Canadian filmmaker who writes, produces, directs, edits and will make the occasional foray into acting.

Gavin started out directing music videos for the likes of Third Eye Blind and more. He also directed the Canadian horror film, "The Scarehouse" (NBC/Universal) and created the single take split-screen film Last Call.

But now Gavin has a new venture that could make someone $100,000 richer. He is writing/directing a TV series, Reward. Season one is called “Dreamcrusher,” The seven-episode series was filmed in Los Angeles, Worcester, Mass. and Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Amherstburg Freedom Museum is an amazing, humbling place to visit. To see all of the artifacts that have spanned generations of black culture was very emotional to experience.

Windsor Basketeers is part of a national volunteer organization that helps women in shelters by providing baskets filled with personal and household items that they need when moving to a new home. Our branch helps women that transition out of Hiatus House.

Windsor Basketeers is asking caring people to consider building a basket for a woman in need.

On Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon, Windsor Basketeers will be accepting filled, wrapped baskets or lidded storage totes at The Safety Village at Forest Glade and Lauzon Parkway.

Sarah Parks truly has a love for horses, this business and introducing people of all ages to horses. Essex County, Ontario is really lucky to have someplace that allows people of all ages develop an appreciation and love for these beautiful creatures.

She not only offers year round riding lessons, but also either takes her ponies to events, parties or you can stay on the ranch and get the full ranch experience with your children. The Friends of Fort Malden is a non profit organization that works in partnership with Parks Canada to help preserve Fort Malden.

With their fundraising, they are able to employ youths throughout the summer. These kids learn all about the history and participate in demonstrations. Dressed in formal attire they get to show off muskets and so much more.

Thanks to all the fundraising and hard work Friends of Fort Malden does, we are able to keep our wonderful part of history in Amherstburg, Ontario going, demonstrating the life, culture and how people lived back when Fort Malden was a working Fort.
