Brandon LaGreca is a licensed acupuncturist, integrative oncology expert, and author of three books on the parts of cancer most oncologists won't touch: trauma, chronic stress, and electromagnetic radiation.
His own remission changed how he researches and what he asks cancer patients to consider.
He works with the concept of the Type C personality, the role of adverse childhood experiences, and the image of a calm pond disrupted by a boulder that displaces the water.
Brandon walks through research on how unresolved emotional history shapes the terrain in which a tumor grows, and he explains why traditional Chinese medicine had language for this centuries before Western science caught up.
Then our conversation shifts to the phone on your nightstand, the router that never turns off, and the four corroborating lines of evidence he documents on EMFs and cancer risk. Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez joins us in a video clip to add his own perspective on the dangers of EMF.
This episode connects directly to the foundation of the Gonzalez Protocol, including the autonomic nervous system, the whole environment of the patient, and the belief that the tumor is a symptom, not the disease.

22: His Light, Our Hands: Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez' Legacy
Eleven years ago, I lost my dear husband and made a promise: to keep his work and legacy alive for every patient who still needs it.
Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez was my husband, and a physician who treated patients others had given up on. His story is the reason this show exists.
Six weeks after we met, I asked him plainly where I fit in a life already so claimed. His answer was immediate: God, then me, then his patients, then his country. I never doubted it. Not once.
Nick was not an easy man to love. The size of his calling left room for little else, and we chose it together anyway.
This episode is personal. It's about a man who refused to back down when it cost him, who carried hope for people who couldn't carry it themselves, and what it means to keep answering to him eleven years later.
If you found your way here through his work, through a patient, through a book, through a moment when everything changed, there's a reason. Let’s talk about it.

13: From a Couple Months to Live to Being a 30-Year Melanoma Survivor
A world-famous conductor was given months to live, and his response wasn't hope or denial; it was treating his health like a rehearsal schedule.
A terminal melanoma diagnosis gave Sir Roger Norrington a few months to live. He lived for 30 more years, conducting orchestras across the world and following the same nutritional enzyme protocol consistently.
Roger didn't survive by ignoring his diagnosis or chasing miracles. He followed The Gonzalez Protocol®, a structured nutritional and enzyme program rooted in the earlier work of Dr. John Beard and Dr. William Donald Kelly. He approached it the way he approached music: daily discipline, repetition, precision. No drama.
This episode draws a line between what a cancer patient cannot control and what they can. The biology, the timing, the uncertainty, those aren't up to you. But routine, environment, and consistency are. Across decades of The Gonzalez Protocol® patients, the pattern holds: the ones who navigate differently don't do something extraordinary once. They do something ordinary every day.
Roger's story isn't positioned as a guarantee or a template. It's a case study in what a structured response looks like when everything else feels uncertain. He died peacefully at 91 in July 2025, decades past the timeline his doctors originally gave him.

If you or someone you love has been handed a prostate or colon cancer diagnosis and told, "here's what we do for this," this episode explains why that thinking misses something critical.
Two men receive the same prostate cancer diagnosis. One needs a high-fat, animal-based diet. The other needs plant-based support. Same disease, opposite protocols. This is the reality that standard oncology rarely considers.
In Conquering Cancer: Volume Two, Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez documented 10 prostate and 6 colon cancer cases, each treated individually based on the patient's metabolic type rather than the diagnosis alone. What stands out across those cases isn't just the outcomes. It's how different the treatment was from patient to patient, even when the diagnosis looked identical on paper.
Gonzalez-certified physicians are using that same approach right now. One current prostate cancer patient came in expecting aggressive treatment, but his body needed something more moderate and balanced. A long-term colon cancer survivor couldn't handle even small changes early on and had to have everything slowed down before his system would cooperate. It was a close collaboration with their doctor and a willingness to treat the person, not just the disease.
11: How These Lung Cancer Survivors Beat the Statistics
What happens when someone wants to beat the cancer statistics?
A lung cancer diagnosis often comes with numbers that feel overwhelming, but those numbers don’t account for individual experience or the possibility of a different path. When consistency, commitment, and engagement are in place, something different begins to happen, especially when the expected outcome hasn’t been confirmed.
You’ll hear how documented cases challenged expected timelines and why patterns like consistency, commitment, and sustained engagement show up repeatedly in people who do better than predicted. I also share a powerful account from a stage four patient who refused to define himself by statistics and instead focused on treating his body as an integrated system.
A clearer perspective begins to emerge around lung cancer survival, cancer statistics vs individual outcomes, and how these cases challenge what people are often told to expect, while still respecting the seriousness of the diagnosis.

10: Breast Cancer: 6 Common Patterns of Long-Term Breast Cancer Survivors
What if the women who live longer are following something repeatable?
Breast cancer is one of the most common diagnoses in the world, yet stories of long-term survival are often dismissed as exceptions rather than something we can understand. The 36 documented cases from Conquering Cancer: Volume One reveal six patterns that consistently showed up in women who experienced long survival.
These were not vague stories; they were cases with biopsy-confirmed diagnoses, clearly defined stages, and documented responses over time. What stands out is how intentional these women were in their decisions, how deeply they committed once they chose a path, and how consistency shaped their experience.
You’ll hear how daily practices like reducing stress, avoiding sugar, and supporting the body through nutrition and simple detox routines became part of a structured approach. There is also a deeper layer: how emotional experiences, mindset, and personal motivation influenced how these women stayed engaged over time.
The Gonzalez Protocol® offers a way to look at breast cancer survival and healing patterns through a different lens… one grounded in observation, consistency, and lived experience.

09: These "Miraculous" Stories Prove Pancreatic Cancer Can Be Treated (Even If There's No Hope)
These pancreatic cancer cases were supposed to end quickly, but the outcomes tell a different story.
Pancreatic cancer is often described with short timelines, limited options, and very little hope. That is the narrative most people hear when they are diagnosed.
Today, I share real patient stories of people who were told one outcome and lived something else entirely. These are not theories or opinions, but documented cases that did not follow the expected path.
In one case, a young mother diagnosed during pregnancy was told she had only months to live, yet she went on to deliver a healthy baby and continue her healing journey.
Some were given only months to live but went on to survive for years, while others regained strength when decline seemed inevitable. Across these cases, certain patterns begin to emerge in how patients supported their bodies over time.
Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez documented his patients’ cases in detail, and the results raised important questions about what was working. These stories do not offer guarantees, but they do indicate how outcomes do not always follow the expected prognosis.

What does real evidence actually look like when it comes to healing?
Not a story. Not a promise. Not a one-off case. But documented outcomes followed over time.
This episode shifts the focus from theory to evidence. It introduces the clinical work behind the Gonzalez Protocol® and the standard it was built on: rigorous documentation, verified diagnoses, and long-term follow-up.
At the center of it is Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez, a conventionally trained physician who didn’t reject science; he followed it. Over nearly 30 years, he built a detailed clinical record of case studies that most people never get to see.

What makes someone fight for their life when healing feels impossible?
I’ve seen firsthand that even the best healing protocols are not enough on their own. Information matters, but it doesn’t carry someone through the long, demanding process of recovering from illness. What sustains that level of consistency is something deeper.
Love changes how people show up for their own healing. It’s what drives someone to stay committed to structured nutrition, disciplined routines, and daily care, even when it’s inconvenient or exhausting. That kind of follow-through doesn’t come from willpower alone. It comes from a decision rooted in connection to life, to purpose, and to the people they care about.
I’ve also witnessed how love influences the body itself. When someone feels supported and connected, their nervous system shifts out of constant stress and into a restful state where repair becomes possible.
This shows how powerful love can be when it comes to healing.

If you’re facing illness or uncertainty, the Power of Prayer slideshow offers a collection of Bible verses, prayers, poems, and meditations that many have found helpful in calming the mind and supporting the body’s natural healing response.
What happens inside the body when fear takes over, and how can faith change that outcome?
Fear is not just an emotional response to illness. It is a physiological state that can interfere with the body’s ability to heal.
Over decades of clinical work, Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez observed that patients with the same diagnosis, and even the same treatment, often had very different outcomes. One of the most consistent differences wasn’t medical. It was whether a person remained in fear or moved toward faith, hope, and purpose.
When fear becomes chronic, the body stays in a prolonged stress response. When stress hormones rise, digestion weakens, inflammation increases, and repair systems slow down. In contrast, practices like prayer, meditation, gratitude, and reflection support the parasympathetic system, where healing can occur.
I explain why it’s so important to reframe a diagnosis so it does not become your identity, and why healing must be understood as physical, emotional, and spiritual. This includes practical ways to strengthen resilience, choose supportive environments, engage in your care, and make decisions with clarity.
Patients who hold onto faith and remain committed to their path often navigate treatment differently, a pattern consistently seen in long-term survivors.
