It's not an overstatement to say that this is one of the movies that got Jeff and me into how and why movies work. Welcome back! Join Barrett Landen and I for a fun discussion of late-80's comedy classic Uncle Buck today. We talk about the lasting appeal of John Candy and John Hughes, the budding genius of Macaulay Culkin, and how this movie pulls at the heartstrings while making us laugh.

Join Paul Sparacello, who has unwittingly been my friend for over a quarter century, for an exploration of An American Werewolf in London, a movie that we argue does about the best job possible of combining comedy and horror into one tasty package. Here's our first special just in time for this weekends Oscar ceremony. This one is me flying solo on mic, as I take you through my personal favorites for eleven of the biggest categories (we even included editing for Brother Jeff, despite his being officially dead to this podcast).
