Taylor and Mike summon their thoughts on The Conjuring: Last Rites, the final chapter of the long-running horror franchise. After a short break, we’re back and ready to close out the summer movie season in style! Our old game from Screening in Kingston, "Movies From A Hat,  makes its Skip It debut! This week we review Wildlife (2018) and Wish I Was Here (2014) and try to find some common threads between the films. 

This week Mike reviews The Accountant 2, Taylor reviews The Phoenician Scheme and The Luckiest Man in American. We discuss a new movie trailer and we go back to "The Hat" for movies from a hat! We do our live draw and select the two movies we'll watch and review for next week, trying to find the connections... 

With Mike away from the show for a bit, Taylor takes to the airwaves to answer some fan questions, call the show by its wrong name and helps George give his first ever review as he reviews Shrek! 

This week we discuss Fear Street and Mike discovers R. L. Stine's involvement. Taylor reviews Fear Street Prom Queen and Mike reviews Mickey 17.

This week Katie Wislon, the winner of our Oscars Pool, joins us to discuss three fake movie biopics. We review That Thing You Do, Popstar and Walk Hard! 

Mike tries not to spoil the movie Sinners, while Taylor reviews the third Paddington movie, Paddington in Peru, yes, there have been three of those. We'll be off next week because Mike's show opens! We talk a bit about that and answer a fun fan question. 

This week we dive into some more fan questions including your movie superpower, changing things about movies you love and movie twists. We discuss Disney live action remakes and the chatter around Lilo and Stitch and Snow White. Taylor also reviews the new horror film The Monkey, Mike makes excuses for not watching a movie this week. George also watches his first movies, Toy Story, Hercules, Lion King, Emperors New Groove and Babe! 

We kick off talking about The Chosen TV series and then dive into fan questions about movie character best friends and underrated movies. Mike reviews the survive at the bottom of the ocean movie Last Breath and Taylor reviews Holland, the movie, not the country. 

Mike does a quick MCU catch-up while Taylor takes a nap, he reviews Captain America: New World Order and discusses the new Daredevil series on Disney Plus. Taylor reviews O'Dessa, a movie Mike believes is a historically significant war-torn area near Russia. We also answer fan questions on what movie we'd want to direct and any overrated movies we've seen. 

Mike reviews Presence from Steven Soderbergh and Taylor reviews F*** Marry Kill, a new Amazon Prime movie. The two also discuss what makes a horror movie a horror movie, a mystery a mystery and movies that have re-watchability. 

It's an all fan question episode! Taylor and Mike answer questions about 5am movies, movies about themselves, what their favourite genre is, the last time they went to a movie theatre, life plans and so much more.

It's our Oscars recap show! Mike and Taylor discuss the awards show itself and of course all of the major winners from film's biggest night. We also announce the results from our Oscars Pool. 

We're getting closer to the Oscars which means Taylor and Mike continue to review nominated films and films that are considered snubs. This week, Taylor reviews The Last Showgirl and Mike reviews September 5, both clearly putting off watching The Brutalist until the last moments...

It was difficult to track down the final Oscar Nominated movies...so we didn't. This week Taylor reviews You're Cordially Invited, a new comedy on Amazon and Mike ventured out to the theatre to see Companion, both 2025 films with some Valentine's day themes! 

We needed to solve the mystery of Emilia Pérez. This week Taylor and Mike review the most Oscar nominated film of the year, Emilia Pérez. 

This week is all about the Oscars! We take a look at the Oscar Nominations and discuss how we feel about the films we've seen and what we're now excited to see next! 

Taylor continues watching awards favourites as she reviews A Real Pain. Mike clearly ran out of time and reviewed Back In Action, giving us our first 2025 movie review. 

Nosferatu, Woman of the Hour, Anora and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, what more could you ask for? This week we dive into some missed films from 2024 as Taylor and Mike catch-up on some Oscar favourites and horror stories from late last year.

After some technical issues with Katie Wilson, we do go ahead with our Book and Movie club selection of Conclave. The film is getting a lot of Oscars buzz, so we'll dive into the film and book, discuss the differences and we felt it translated from page to screen! 

It's our yearly look back at the year that was in movies! Mike and Taylor dive into their review lists and take a look back at their See It, Stream It, Airplane It and Skip It rating, and give you a breakdown of their favourite movies of the year.

The holidays mean travel stories as Mike reviews Carry-On, a die-hard style Christmas movie set in an airport. Taylor tricks Mike and changes movies mid-week as she reviews The Apprentice about the life of Donald Trump, the next president of the USA.

It's time to return to the Roman Empire that apparently men think about every day? Mike makes his objections known and also reviews Gladditor II. Taylor gives us some insights into the world of Nosferatu and also reviews Mary, a new film on Netflix. We also discuss the Golden Globe nominations, though they mean nothing, Mike talks about what they mean. 

We begin with discussing the titles for episodes of the Stranger Things 5th season and why we say so many bad things about Matthew McConaughey. It's also the holiday season so that means Christmas movies and movies with that good old holiday feeling. Mike reviews Wicked and Taylor reviews Our Little Secret!    

We're off this week, so we're bringing back to trek boys from Screening in Kingston! The Trek boys are back and they really ran out of time fast. Special Guest Tyler Vance finally saw the rest of Star Trek: Enterprise and gives his review of the entire series. Mike thinks this show is underrated and the two discuss where it sits in Star Trek fandom!

It's our Halloween special! This week we welcome special guest Matt Salton to talk about one of the scariest movies of all time, The Haunting of Julia also known as Full Circle. We also give you a fun Top 5 Halloween movies list as we dive into what we feel are the scariest movies of all time!

It's one week until Halloween so Taylor and Mike turn back to some horror movies and new October releases! Taylor reviews Brothers and Mike reviews Speak No Evil, our two hosts also discuss why they are not reviewing Woman of the Hour.   

Taylor turns back the clock and reviews Tourist Trap (1979). Mike also reviews Will & Harper, a documentary road trip film that debuted at various film festivals including TIFF. 

This week Mike and Taylor answer some fan questions and reactions about the Joker Folie à Deux. They also discuss the state of the DCEU, Robert Pattinson's future as Batman and the new Nosferatu trailer. This week they both review Hold Your Breath, a new "horror" movie on Disney Plus. 

This week Mike and Taylor discuss the terrible opening weekend of Megalopolis, clearly a fall flop and their general interests in seeing the movie or not. Taylor reviews The Crown remake and finally gives her thoughts on this and the film she loved from the 90s. Mike reviews His Three Daughters, a film getting some early Oscars buzz. 

This week Taylor recounts her motherhood story of the week as we reconnect after Taylor missed last week's episode. Taylor reviews MIlk and Serial, a movie on Youtube that has been creating a lot of buzz. Mike reviews Sing Sing and Am I Racist? He also makes a point to explain, in ways only Mike can, what a documentary is...thanks Mike. 

Due to a series of mother related duties, Taylor is gone this week and Mike rides solo for a short episode where he answers fan questions and even though not one has anything to do with Star Trek, he still manages to talk about Star Trek...The movies we had planned this week will be reviewed next week!

Mike finally sees the disappointment of the summer Borderlands and Taylor reviews The Deliverance, a new horror/suspense film on Netflix. 

This week Mike and Taylor catchup on some end of summer movies including Alien: Romulus, Longlegs and Jackpot! They also turn their attention to the fall movie season and discuss Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Joker: Folie à Deux and more.
