This is also their FIRST EVER Lee Min-Ho drama and they are SWOONING over him. Why did it take them this long? It’s honestly concerning. Lee Min-Ho AND Kim Go-Eun in a drama together? Let’s go.

Maddie & Christina discuss the first two episodes of No Gain No Love & they have … thoughts.

This show was highly anticipated because of Shin Min-Ah, but the ladies are having a hard time understanding the dynamic between the two leads. Shin Min-Ah is great, but the character she plays (as of right now) is questionable. It also has been hard to pinpoint where the male lead is coming from. 

Maddie & Christina are more invested in the secondary characters (shout out to Lee Sang-Yu & Han Ji-Hyun!) and back story lines instead of the leads. Are they the only ones? Let us know your thoughts!

Serendipity’s Embrace or do you mean SHAGGYTOWN’S Embrace?! IYKYK.

This new drama stars Kim Su-Hyeon (My Lovely Liar, Love Alarm) and Chae Jong-Hyeop (Castaway Diva, Eye Love You). It is about meeting your first love (Shaggytown’s first love) by fate years later.

In this Through Two, Maddie & Christina discuss the two leads, how the plot isn’t the strongest, and are very curious about what will happen next. They also talk ad nauseam about Chae Jong-Hyeop (correction: MADDIE DOES) and how they are looking forward to seeing his character open up more. Flash that sweet smile, Chae Jong-Hyeop!

Maddie and Christina jump on the mic to gush about Cheer Up because we're halfway through! This ~may~ be Maddie's fav current drama (and might make her top list by the time it's over). This episode includes: lots of SML bashing, frustrations with Jung-woo's SLOWNESS (even though he's Maddie's dream man), and complete adoration for Do Hae-yi because she's our girl!! 

WE STILL CHINGU CHATTING UP IN HERE. .... Y'all seem to love this segment just as much as we do, so we're still going strong with CHINGU CHATS.  ..... Maddie and Christina spend some time this week talking about a little-known KPop group - BTS??- because Christina is deep in content and must word-vomit about her love for Jimin. (AYYY - BANGTAN SONYEONDAN EE-AYE-OH. R-R-R-R-RAP MONSTER) They also chat all-time KDrama weenies, fav. female leads, and spend some time bashing on the SML from Cheer Up bc they think he's the total worst. 

Maddie and Elle are back on mic to chat up Bad Prosecutor episodes 1 - 8!! D.O. is slaying this role as Jin Jung ~ super crazy, eccentric, lovable "prosecutor" (or whatever he is LOL). Maddie and Elle speculate who the REAL baddie here is, show some appreciation for Jin Jung's quirks, and shout out the (slow moving) but adorable love story.

This week for CHINGU CHATS: - Christina makes up a name for all Rowoon Fans - Maddie and Christina wanna put Rowoon on a puzzle - Rowoon wore a purple shirt one time and it became Maddie and Christina's favorite color  **wait what were we talking about** ummmm - A new CHINGU CHAT original segment is made AND - Maddie and Christina throw out some sick KDrama recs for them sweater weather feels

A KDrama about a CHEER SQUAD at a COLLEGE with GAUDY UNIFORMS and BAE IN-HYUK?!?! Clearly none of this appeals to Maddie. .... PSYCH. Maddie frickin loves this show and so do her two guests for the day: Hayley and Christina! They have been crossing their fingers that this show would not disappoint, and so far it has not. Those first two episodes were total bangers, complete with prophesies, twinkly uniforms, ex-boyfriends, weenie secondary leads, and locked basement scenes that turn up the HEATTTTT.  .... Huge shoutout to Maddie's guests for the day! They had a hard time organizing a recording time because they're total world travelers. Hayley is from England and has been a KDrama fan for 5 years (her first being... OH MY VENUS. The respect.) Christina is from California and is voted most likely to have a cardboard cutout of Rowoon in her closet. Big claps for Maddie's amazing guests!! She couldn't do the pod without them!

Knock Knock ~ Who's there ~ Maddie's dream has come true because D.O. IS BACK, Y'ALL!!! ... If you've been around Maddie's pods for any time, you know she's basically the president of D.O.'s fan club, so you best believe she's watching Bad Prosecutor. And so far OMG this show is crazy in all of the bestest ways. Join Maddie and her guest Elle as they LOL all over D.O.'s perm. They also break down the plot of those first two eps because a whole lot happened and it was hard to keep track of how many people D.O. kidnapped.  .... Big thanks to Maddie's guest Elle! If you missed it, Maddie and Elle also recorded an episode on GOING SEVENTEEN bc they are big-time Carats and frickin proud of it. You're the best, Elle!!
