In which X7 talks about the first live-action crossover/team-up he ever saw... the time when the Green Hornet visited Batman in Gotham City! Sure, the overall story could have been a bit more serious, but it was nice to see Kato and the Hornet show a lighter side. As of this episode, this is the only legit release of the Green Hornet on home video. Which is just sad. Atomic turbines to speed and let's roll!

486. The Outlaws is Coming! (1965)23 Apr 202500:25:48

In which we look at the final Three Stooges theatrical film, The Outlaws is Coming! This is from 1965, and has a lot of familiar faces in it, and one that was about to become world famous, the late, great Adam West! Sure, it isn't the classic Stooge line-up, and they do repeat many of the same gags, but it is an agreeable way to spend 90 minutes. Woo woo woo!

396. Ultraman episodes 30 and 31 in review!24 Jan 202500:14:49

In which X7 takes a look at the 30th and 31st episodes of Ultraman! One is good and sad, the second is pretty fun! Plant aliens need to be destroyed for the most part. Grab that Beta Capsule and let's go!

In which X7 takes a look at one of the oddest kiddie movies of all time- The Magic Sword from 1962! He saw it as a kiddie agent, and has never forgotten it. It is still pretty wonderfully weird overall, but quite a fun movie. We highly recommend it. Anyone got the Blu Ray for sale?

394. Vintage Dinosaur Book from 1960 review!21 Jan 202500:19:43

In which X7 reviews the great 1960 Giant Golden Book, Dinosaurs and Other Prehistoric Reptiles. This was a must have book from the 60s to the 70s for all dinosaur loving kids. The views are a bit outdated now, but it is still a gorgeous and well-written book. We also get to see the new version from 2013 as well!

393. Captain America 1966: 08 and 09!21 Jan 202500:24:43

In which we change things up a bit here and review two episodes of the Avengers cartoon- oops! That is the Captain America cartoon from 1966. These are very interesting adaptations, in regards to the fact that the animation studio left out a LOT of information for both stories. The animation is a bit smoother, though the sound effects still do a lot of work! It is pretty fun to see Cap's Kooky Quartet in action. Avengers, Assemble!

392. Samson vs. The Vampire Women of 1962!20 Jan 202500:22:00

In which X7 talks about one of the most famous luchadors in the world, El Santo, and his most famous movie! This is the English dubbed version, Samson vs. the Vampire Women. In which X7 reviews the most excellent movie, Ninja in the Dragon's Den (1982)! It is a nice Japanese-Chinese collaboration, full of martial arts, magic, misunderstandings and slight comedy! We highly recommend it and wish there was a Blu Ray presentation of it from Arrow Video! Be that as it may, it's great.

389. Ultraman 28 and 29- of Dada and Goldon!17 Jan 202500:16:38

In which we look at a couple more great episodes of Ultraman! Dada is an artistic invader looking to collect humans for unknown reasons- maybe they want more people to look at their art? This is followed by two innocent monsters that eat gold. Alas, people love gold more than monsters, it seems. Get your Spider Gun ready, you are gonna need it!

388. Jack and the Witch (1967) review16 Jan 202500:19:16

In which X7 takes a look at one of the oddest Japanese movies from 1967- Jack and the Witch! He never saw it as a wee agent, so seeing it with older eyes does give one a slightly different perspective. It is a pretty fun movie, though a tad overlong. There are a lot of chases and captures and escapes throughout the film. A ten minute edit would do wonders for the audience!

In which X7 talks for quite a while about the great King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962)! We will watch him more next time to make sure he does not filibuster, if you will, about his topic. We cannot promise anything, though. You know X7 and his love of these movies!

485. Kimba episodes 51 and 52- the last episodes!21 Apr 202500:25:29

In which X7 looks at three more episodes of Kimba, and a special extra episode, which we will get into later on! We have enjoyed watched the entire series, but these would not have been the final two episodes we would have aired. Listen for X7's choice! Let's go, White Lion, for the final time in the 60s!

386. Captain America 07: Cap battles the Adaptoid!13 Jan 202500:14:06

In which X7 and Captain America meet the amazing Adaptoid in episode 07! This android can copy any individual's abilities, including non-super powers. Can Cap defeat a being with several Avengers powers by himself?

385. The Giant Behemoth, the Sea Monster of 1959!13 Jan 202500:27:34

In which X7 talks about the second monster movie directed by Eugène Lourié, The Giant Behemoth (1959)! It is quite entertaining, if a bit "by the numbers" overall. The monster is cool, and a stop-motion rampage is always fun to watch. Find out if it is the "biggest thing since creation!"

In which X7 reviews the sad story of Gomora, as told in Ultraman episodes 26 and 27. Our lovable monster was minding his own business when a busybody professor brings him to Japan. Good things always happen when monsters are taken from their homes and brought to civilization, right?

381. Atragon is GO!09 Jan 202500:30:37

In which X7 reviews one of Toho Studios best non-Godzilla or even kaiju related movies- Atragon (aka Kaitei Gunkan). It is a great and emotional movie, filled with spectacle and personal conflict. We highly recommend it!

380. The Fearsome Flesh Eaters of 1964!08 Jan 202500:22:41

In which X7 talks about one of the earliest "gore" movies, The Flesh Eaters (1964)! It is rather gory, but it is also in black and white which makes it both better and worse. It is a pretty good little movie, and has a very interesting pedigree! You will have to watch to find out, though, since we aren't giving it away!

379. Captain America 06: The Dang ol' Masters of EVILLE!06 Jan 202500:20:47

In which X7 talks about the sixth episode of Captain America, which is really an Avengers story. In fact, it was the sixth comic book Avengers story! It is a pretty decent adaptation overall, though Giant Man and the Wasp are nowhere to be found. X7 also talks about the first time he saw the episode on 200 foot Super 8mm film. It's a great martial arts movie, we will tell you what!

484. That Hollow Mountain has a Beast in it!20 Apr 202500:20:54

In which X7 returns to stop-motion dinosaurs, er, well, a stop-motion dinosaur in the mostly good The Beast from Hollow Mountain (1956). We like it, though it is mostly a standard "oater" or basic western for the most part. The movie does prove that everything really is better with dinosaurs in it!

376. 7 Song Friday Dancing, Dreams, and Money!04 Jan 202500:19:42

In which X7 listens to and talks about seven pretty great songs! There are some hits and some deep cuts, and people in the radio biz call them these days. And in keeping with the rule, a song X7 has never heard before today! Let's get ready to rock and roll!

375. Ultraman 24 and 25 Gubira, Red King and Friends!03 Jan 202500:19:10

374. The Baneful Brain from Planet Arous (1957)!02 Jan 202500:25:55

In which we start Series 03 with X7's review of The Brain from Outer Space! It is a fun movie with a silly invader who is trying to take over the world. Seems like many evil brains from space do that regularly. This one has a good brain that follows him, but needs a lot of help to stop Gor. It is quite the memorable movie, we will tell you what. Next time, they should get some meddling kids to visit the macabre Mystery Mountain!

We still love comic books!

368. Ultraman 22, 23- Terror and Tragedy!27 Dec 202400:15:52

In which X7 reviews two really good episodes of Ultraman (1966). One is a pretty standard invasion story, but is so well directed that it makes the episode stand out. The second is probably the most tragic story in this first series. We also introduce a new feature! But you have to watch to see it! Higgentoot rocks!

367. A Trek to Dinosaur Land!25 Dec 202400:16:51

In which X7 takes a look at one of his favorite places in the world, Dinosaur Land in White Post, VA. You can also read more about the history of the park here. This is a tour of the booklet sold by the park in the 70s. They may still have some there now, probably for the same price. Be that as it may, X7 love this park, and it sure had an impart on his wee agent brain. Do you want to go to Dinosaur Land?

483. The Spearman of Death vs. The Flag of Iron!19 Apr 202500:22:08

In which X7 talks about the very enjoyable 1980 Chang Cheh movie, Flag of Iron, AKA Spearman of Death! Both titles are quite appropriate as well. Now, the movie does have more talking than usual, but it also has a lot of fights. We mean, a LOT. X7 enjoyed this viewing quite a bit this time around. Let's get ready to start kung fu fighting!

365. Captain America 04- His Revenge, in 1966!23 Dec 202400:19:00

In which X7 reviews the first then-modern day Cap story, where he heads to an unnamed country in South America to get revenge on the baneful Baron Zemo. The thing is, Zemo wants his revenge on Cap! Rick Jones is present in this story from the pages of the Avengers, but we don't see any of his colorful teammates. Good thing Cap has that mighty shield ready!

364. Gigantis, The Fire Monster from 1959! It is a review!23 Dec 202400:26:15

In which X7 reviews the second Godzilla movie, well the US version of the second Godzilla movie, Gigantis, The Fire Monster. That is a helluva title, we must say. It suffers from rushed-sequelitis for sure, but there is a lot to like here. Let's watch and find out what those qualities are!

In which X7 takes a look at two more episodes of the classic effects series Ultraman! We have an avenger monster in Hydra, which looks nothing like the Greek Hydra, and a toxic gas monster in Kemular, who looks a bit like a giant muppet. Neither monster is evil, but they are dangerous! It is almost all-out action! Call the Science Patrol!

360. Obro is The Giant of Metropolis (1962)19 Dec 202400:19:38

In which X7 reviews the oddball and rather fun sci-fi peplum, The Giant of Metropolis! It stars Gordon Mitchell, and takes place around 20,000 BCE. That is quite a long time ago! There are no monsters, but the direction and sets make up for it. There is lots of action as well. He isn't really a son of Hercules, but it still works!

359. Fantastic Dinosaurs of the movies from 1990!18 Dec 202400:20:44

In which X7 reviews a "documentary" that was first released on VHS in 1990, then in a slightly upgraded form on DVD in 2001. It's a fun time machine to see how beat up these trailers are and how happy we were to see them back then. There are not many actual dinosaurs present, but that is quite alright. The movies are all pre-CGI, which is quite refreshing these days. Let's go!

358. Captain America 1966: Spies and Traitors!17 Dec 202400:13:32

In which X7 looks at either the third or fourth episode (third episode here, but fourth according to Wiki) of the 1966 Captain America cartoon. It was based on Tales of Suspense #69 to 71. Is Steve Rogers AWOL? Looks like it, but he does have friends in high places. Can Rogers be in two places at the same time? Don't touch that dial!

357. Dinosaurus! review and more!16 Dec 202400:25:25

In which X7 talks about the fun action-comedy movie, Dinosaurus! from 1960. The effects are good, the scenery is gorgeous and plot is pretty easy to follow. What more could a person want? Well, X7 does wish he had seen this as a wee agent, rather than as an older, more discerning agent. But life doesn't always work that way, right? The screen grabs are from the Kino-Lorber Blu Ray, which is a great release, so go get it. Dinosaurs make everything better!

Yes, X7 messed up the first upload, but the second one got better.

354. Ultraman 18 and 19- Brothers and Demons!13 Dec 202400:16:57
