Behind the Scenes of Our First Rooted Retreat for Christian Moms in Business
Épisode 100
mardi 17 mars 2026 • Durée 43:56
In this episode, KyAnn and I are pulling back the curtain on our very first Rooted Retreat - the small, intentional gathering we hosted for Christian moms in business built around our signature "Rooted Business" framework.
From snowstorms and canceled flights to spiritual warfare and a last-minute sweatshirt crisis, the road to retreat was anything but smooth — but it truly set the most beautiful heart posture of surrender and prayer for everyone in the room.
We're sharing what God did in that space: the vulnerable conversations, the real-time business breakthroughs, the spontaneous prayer circles, and an original song written and performed by one of our attendees that had every single one of us in tears!
If you've been looking for a retreat that goes beyond business strategy and actually meets you in your faith, your home, and your calling — this is the room for you 🫶

The Exact Emails to Send After Someone Joins Your List
Épisode 99
jeudi 26 février 2026 • Durée 14:13
If you have a freebie, a ManyChat automation, and an email list that’s slowly growing, but still isn't driving any sales, this episode walks you through the EXACT (simple!!!) email sequence you need to be sending to every person joining your list.
I’m breaking down how to create a simple email funnel that turns new subscribers into buyers without emailing every day. You’ll learn what to send immediately after someone downloads your freebie, how to clearly deliver and direct them for quick wins, and how to build belief through strategic emails that address objections and reframe common misconceptions about funnels and automation.
Then I’ll walk you through how to make a clear, calm sales invitation that feels aligned and effective.

Juggling Motherhood and Ministry When Life Feels Chaotic (with Emily Hill)
Épisode 90
mercredi 2 avril 2025 • Durée 57:05
If you’ve ever felt like your life doesn’t look “spiritual enough” or like you’re doing all the right things but still falling short, this episode’s for you. I want you to know that God meets us right in the mess, and that’s often where He does His best work.
In today’s episode, I’m interviewing my new friend Emily Hill –a wife, a mom, a social worker, a hospice chaplain, a speaker, and an author (I know, right?!) all about following God’s call even when it didn’t make a whole lot of sense on paper.
We talked about juggling motherhood, ministry, and seminary, and what it looked like to stay connected to the Lord in the middle of it. She also opens up about walking through miscarriage, wrestling with anger toward God, and what it really means to live in His grace, not just talk about it.
In this episode:
- Obeying God’s call in overwhelming seasons
- Letting go of the pressure to “have it all together”
- Staying in the Word when life feels nonstop
- Faith, grief, and finding God in the mess

Why I’m Simplifying My Business to Spend More Time at Home with My Kids
Épisode 88
mercredi 19 mars 2025 • Durée 13:28
If you’ve ever felt stretched thin trying to juggle business and family and ALL THE THINGS, this is for you.
The truth is, the past few months I've felt pretty drained in my life + business. There are a lot of personal things causing big decision fatigue, and it has definitely impacted the energy and focus I have for work. Don't get my wrong, I LOVE my business, but I’ve also made it way more complicated than it needs to be. And honestly? I've realized recently that the reason my life doesn’t feel as slow and peaceful as I want it to be is all on me!
I don’t have an off switch when it comes to ideas and goals, and while that ambition has served me well in some ways, it’s also keeping me from the slower, more present life I say I want.
So, after a lot of prayer and reflection, I’m making some big shifts. It feels both terrifying and freeing, but I know this is what I need right now. I want a business that serves others, provides for my family, and actually fits my life, not one that constantly pulls me away from it.
If you’ve been feeling stretched thin, trying to do all the things and wondering if there’s a simpler way, I hope this episode gives you some encouragement! I’m sharing what’s changing, why I’m making these shifts, and how I’m figuring out a way to build a business that actually works without sacrificing what matters most 🫶
