This week on Wild Medicine, join Dr. Peris and guest Tara Rawana as they discuss Empowered Teen, the beloved mom and tween daughter program that's changing lives.

Tara is the facilitator of Empowered Teen. She is also the co-founder of All About Mental Empowerment. Her company provides mental health workshops and courses to schools and her work has supported over 10,000 students this 2022/2023 school year. Tara’s passion and dedication to empowering youth to shine through as she and Dr. Peris share the magic of Empowered Teen.

Dr. Peris and her daughter have personally experienced the transformative power of Empowered Teen, and she reflects on how it has brought them closer together with deeper, more connected, and vulnerable conversations at home. This 6-module mom and daughter health and connection curriculum is designed to help girls get in tune with their bodies, trust their intuition, set goals and values for their future, and tackle perfectionism through intentional sharing and engaging activities.

But the inspiration doesn't stop there! Kerri Stevens, one of the wonderful moms in the Empowered Teen program, joins Dr. Peris and Tara to share her own experience with her tween daughter and how the program has altered the trajectory of their relationship. It is a testament to the life-changing impact that Empowered Teen can have on the bond between moms and daughters.

Now it's your turn to intentionally chart the course of your relationship with one of the most important people in your life - your daughter.
