Jonathan touches on how to adapt to different environments, the importance of networking and understanding that there's more to life than music. Jonathan's key advice for those finishing their studies is to 'network with everyone' - you don't know who may be able to help you in the future. Take advantage of all of the opportunities available to you at ICMP - events, gigs, socials, 1:2:1s, etc - they all present opportunities for you to expand your network. But... don't forget to have fun throughout! Also discussed is the importance of learning new skills outside of music and having a Plan B. Focus on skills that will also support your music and art, but may also open doors. This is exactly how he ended up in his current role at Facebook.
