Matt Knoll (@HullSurvey on IG) has been a sailor all his life and has been a professional marine surveyor since 2007 owning his own surveying business in Florida since 2018. We first started following Griffin and Kenzie on their instagram @The.BoatProject while they were renovating a custom 1968 53' PNW boat in hopes of Airbnb-ing it in Gig Harbor, WA at a private dock off one of the only historical Net Sheds left in the area. This was supposed to be a 7-9 day passage. It did not go exactly as planned, but lets be real nothing boat related ever does!
