Tiffanie Alice - The designer building her own universe one bag at a time!
Saison 1 · Épisode 46
mercredi 16 juillet 2025 • Durée 01:18:17
For this episode we were joined by the wonderful Tiffanie Alice, the founder of Parallel x Studio, one of the most promising accessories brands in the UK right now.
I first came across Tiffanie via Tiktok last year, the passion with which she endorsed her brand coupled with her transparency in sharing her life experiences endeared me to her. After doing some digging into Parallel and seeing all the amazing pieces she's created it was only a matter of time before I reached out and locked it in! From being deported from the UK, becoming Tumblr famous in Canada, then coming back to the UK and living the life she always imagined for herself - No stone was left unturned in this convo!
Tiffanie shared how her Congolese upbringing, coupled in with her desire to be successful born out of financially difficulty and a God given eye for aesthetics, all played a role in where she's at today. She broke down her interesting design process that has led to iconic pieces such as the Betty and the Lolita bags, delving into the unique references that influence her creations.
Since recording Tiffanie and Parallel have continued to go from strength to strength, I'm excited to see what she does next, particularly her in-person activations as her imagery lends itself very well to this.

Emay 4K – The Designer Who Seeks Growth in Every Setback
Saison 1 · Épisode 45
dimanche 2 mars 2025 • Durée 01:47:39
For this episode, we were joined by Emay, the founder of Jehucal, one of the most exciting brands in UK streetwear right now.
I first came across Jehucal a few years ago and was drawn to the brand’s unique mix of elevated streetwear, authenticity, and pure storytelling. To finally sit down with Emay and hear the full journey firsthand was an honour. From starting the brand while juggling university and a part-time job to navigating setbacks, taking a much-needed break, and coming back stronger than ever—this conversation is a must-watch.
Emay broke down how he built Jehucal from scratch, the hustle behind his standout products like the Mirrors Bag, and the lessons he’s learned from the fashion industry, business, and life itself. He shared what it truly takes to build a brand with longevity, why constant innovation is key, and how he’s evolved both as a designer and a man over the years.
Since recording, Jehucal has continued to grow, with some of the biggest releases to date and a wave of new supporters tapping in.

Mr FullyPaid - The East Ender who turned £500 into a successful streetwear brand
Saison 1 · Épisode 36
dimanche 28 janvier 2024 • Durée 01:13:26
For this episode we were joined by Mr FullyPaid (FP), Co-Founder of streetwear brand FullyPaid.
Raised in East London to Ghanaian parents, FP had no intention to make the foray into fashion, it was instead football that took all of his time and effort. However after being released by AFC Wimbledon in his mid-teens, he saw himself at a crossroads. With not much going on for himself at the time FP's cousin came to him with the idea of starting a brand, it is here where FullyPaid was born.
Nearly 7 years down the line FullyPaid has gone from a local hackney based clothing-line to a global streetwear brand. This is no fluke and is testament to the hard work FP and his team have put in to constantly develop the brand.
Throughout the episode FP shares the story of how the brand got to where it is now. He tells the story behind many of the brands most significant moments such as it's collaboration with the viral Spain based brand Trikko, their collaboration with the original TopBoy and cultural icon that is Ashley Walters, the role they played in the viral drill hits from Hazey and Benzz, and much, much more.
In a relatively short space of time we've seen the brand continually evolve. Right now the brand is in the midst of another evolution as it slowly transitions into a more luxury streetwear brand. If you haven't seen their FullyPaid dreams collection make sure you check it out its cold! FP shares why this transition is happening and also whether the risk has paid off!
One thing that stood out to me in this episode was FP's transparency. Over the few years of knowing each other I've seen how willing FP is to share the many keys he's learnt from his time in fashion, largely due to the fact that he himself had no clue about this industry once up a time. As a result this episode is littered with gems on how to build a successful brand including how to build a functioning team, how to best market your brand, how to build the right connections and much more.
Fully Paid have started the year in great form, with their Fully Paid dreams collection continuing to garner global attention with it being seeing on several musicians and NBA superstars including none of other than the living legend Bobby Shmurda and Brooklyn nets star Dennis Smith Jr. Make sure you stay locked in, they're due to have a BIG year.

Arif Ferdous - The driven designer bringing love and positivity into the streetwear scene
Saison 1 · Épisode 35
dimanche 31 décembre 2023 • Durée 01:21:43
I've been following Arif and the brand for some time now and I've seen progression in every drop! I think now was the best time to get Arif on the pod as the brand is in a place where it has several recognisable pieces and has firmly positioned itself as one of the frontrunners in the British luxury streetwear space.
Born to Bengali parents and growing up in Essex, Arif has always been influenced by different styles. Inspired by Kanye West and ASAP Rocky, Arif knew from early on that he wanted to design clothes but more importantly knew that he wanted to share pertinent messages through the means of fashion.
This is something that is key feature of the brand today. Alongside it being known for it's elegant but edgy aesthetic, Arif Ferdous has also become closely associated to themes of love and unity.
Throughout the episode Arif candidly breaks down how him and his business partner Chad have been able to build such a brand in a relatively short space of time as well as why their meaning of the brand is so important to them. We spoke in depth about Arif's transparency concerning his personal brand as this is something that adds so much to the perception of the brand from my perspective.
Since recording Arif Ferdous has continued to go from strength to strength. The brand page recently hit 15k followers on instagram which is testament to the steady growth of the brand and the loyal following they're building. Arif has teased some of the new pieces they'll be dropping soon and it's safe to say that they're due to have a huge 2024.
Follow Arif's instagram to stay locked into his brand building journey. Make sure to follow his tiktok too! You'll learn a lot. Don't forget to follow the Arif Ferdous brand page to stay up to date with their latest drops! Big drip coming soon!
Kobbi Banks - The young designer relentlessly pushing creative boundaries
Saison 1 · Épisode 34
dimanche 26 novembre 2023 • Durée 01:20:29
For this episode we were joined by Kobbi Banks Founder of streetwear brand Bywave.4TF!
Ever since our paths crossed early last year, I've been tracking the growth of Kobbi and his brand. In what has been a relatively short space of time Kobbi has done a number of things which I felt we needed to discuss! Despite only being 3 years into his fashion journey he has already released a number of innovative pieces and a couple creative fashion films so now was definitely the right time for us to chop it up!
Born to Ghanaian parents and growing up in a predominately white area in Essex, Kobbi has always felt different. Such a difference could lead to one wanting to conform or in Kobbi's case, doing the work needed to discover who you truly are and carving your own lane. This sense of individualism is something that speaks through the Bywave.4TF brand ultimately garnering a cult-like following of like-minded young people.
Despite not always knowing of his creative abilities due to his more academic nature, Kobbi didn't start designing until he was in university. It is here where Kobbi fell in love with fashion and began to study the greats such as Virgil Abloh and Rick Owen. Kobbi
shares how it is this curiosity coupled in with his studious nature that has enabled him to build such a thriving brand in such a short space of time.
Throughout the conversation Kobbi shares what the Bywave.4TF brand represents, what has gone into building it and his hopes for the future. We touched on many topics that I felt we needed to discuss such as Kobbi's ability to try knew things and his bravery in putting his brand out there.
Since recording Kobbi has continued to build his brand and is in the process of launching his next collection. He recently announced the launch of the 4TF Knight puffer, a piece that I think will go down as one of his most innovative and successful to date!

Born in the Philippines, those around Galanacci knew he was special from a very young age due to his incredible artistic talents. Such a talent led to Galanacci eventually studying architecture at University and it is here where he decided to pivot and start a fashion brand instead.
Due to being inspired by the likes of Samuel Ross and Virgil Abloh, Galanacci had already learned what he believes it takes to be successful in fashion. To him, the main component is having a brand with meaning. The Galanacci brand aims to inspire its wearers to believe that they can be a pioneer of greatness in whatever way it means to them. Born to Kurdish parents in Turkey but raised in Scotland, Ibzz had always considered himself to be different to those around him. A difference that will later play a huge role in why he decided to start SaintMind, a brand with such an important meaning. Surrounded by hard workers like his parents and his uncle, Ibzz knew the value of such a trait and quickly decide that he wanted to take advantage of this by starting a business.

Saison 1 · Épisode 30
dimanche 6 août 2023 • Durée 01:14:08
For this episode we were joined by Nate Spiteri, Founder of streetwear brand Three Thousand Clothing.
Hailing from Melbourne Australia, Nate had always been a streetwear enthusiast. Growing up he gravitated towards brands like Stussy and Supreme and it's this love that led to him starting his first brand with two of his childhood friends whilst at university. Nate himself admits that they didn't really know what they were doing at first but still managed to turn over $10,000 Australian dollars in sales which is very impressive considering the fact that the Melbourne streetwear scene was small and definitely not as prominent as the likes of New York and London.
Although Nates first brand eventually came to an end, it is here where Nate discovered how much he truly wanted to be successful in fashion. Enter Three Thousand Clothing! Nate decide to leave Melbourne and head over to London to build the brand as he felt this would be easier due to the vibrance and opportunity within the UK streetwear scene. Nate has definitely done just that, however it has not come without its challenges.
Throughout the episode Nate candidly shares what it has been liking trying to build a streetwear brand in a city that he is 'new' to. Did London live up to his expectations? How did he make connections? Were people as willing to help as he thought they'd be? Was the decision to leave Melbourne worth it? Listen now to hear Nate answer all these questions and more!
Throughout the conversation Nate shares the many keys he has picked up from building a brand from scratch in London. His perspective on brand building is very interesting and definitely one I am grateful to have heard.

Alizé Demange - The stylist who never took no for an answer
dimanche 25 juin 2023 • Durée 01:32:42
For this episode we were joined by the wonderful Alizé Demange, Stylist and Founder of A-D Creative.
Alizé has been a mainstay in the U.K styling scene for a while now and has an incredible story to tell. Alizé's story has been laced with setbacks but she has never let these stop her which is why she is in the position she is in today. Her talent and perseverance has led to her styling the likes of Wstrn, Jorja Smith, Maya Mama and many more of the country's biggest talent!
However, styling wasn't always part of the plan, it was actually fashion design that first peaked Alizé's interest. However due to some experiences that she shares in the episode, Alizé realised that she was much better suited to and more passionate about styling! Since this discovery, she has never looked back and years later has built up an incredible portfolio of work which spans across editorial, e-commerce, personal and more!
Throughout the episode Alizé candidly shares how long it took her to get to the position she's in and the sacrifices she made in order to do so. Her path was in no means linear and despite several setbacks and thoughts of quiting Alizé pushed through and is now successful and very well respected in the fashion scene.
What I loved most about this episode is how it showed that in Alizé being forced to take a real unconventional approach to break into the fashion industry, she no longer feels restricted by peoples perceptions or labels. This approach has led to Alizé also being a fashion influencer herself aswell as starting a number of initiatives which have supported young people to break into the industry!
If you need motivation and anymore proof that you can carve your own path in fashion then make sure to watch/listen to this episode!
Since recording Alizé has continued to create incredible fashion content alongside announcing the launch of her own podcast! Make sure you follow Alizé now to keep up to date with her journey!
