Grow Up, yeah this sounds harsh! We always got to practice growing up, and others still need to. So many young people have been taught to be young until 18 and then grow up suddenly. Now we have a spiritual immature adults. It is not about a certain generation- this ranges in many generations who have focused on the world over their walk with God. Sadly, our younger generations have been subject of the lack of Discipleship from the church and parents. Many of us will have weakness because of the lack of maturity while we also will have strengths that we can teach. Remember we are in a constant state of growth and teaching.

Many times God will give us wisdom and direction for our requests and desires. He may give us an answer to repent, no, or do this, and in some cases He will have a full journey of training. The main issues is we do not like the responses or answers and so we demand He answer the questions, desires, and paths the way WE WANT. Now our desires have become an idol.

There are quite a few movements out there trying to create a Jesus of their agenda... Masquerading as CHOSEN special people for a "purpose" of their own. We need to be aware of how they are getting into the church. We are to be alert as the wolves and false teachers will try to change the church culture.

Do we battle inside ourselves with issues, past, hurts, or fear that wants to go against God? Yes, we have a battle of the Flesh vs Spirit. We have a battle, and we have to remember who is our God, we accepted Jesus as Savior (or not- look at you all who do not know Jesus yet) need to know that even though we may not feel worthy of that love... He sent his Son for the Love he has for us! Now why do we have a Battle in Us?

We long for Power, the Enemy wants us to think we need our own, so we accept that "RING" of power from Sauron... I mean Satan. We are promised a power, the Holy Spirit, but it is not to give us power in the way Satan wanted it in Heaven or promised Eve (Adam). Do you wield the POWER of this world or are you willing to receive the promise of the Holy Spirit... humbly surrendering to the Lordship of the Creator?

This is the last of the series of the Armor of God, I have enjoyed this series a lot! My hope as you listen to the Sword of Spirit that it will reveal more about you and what God needs you to see about Him and what you should be doing. Do you understand that we are given the Holy Spirit? That the Sword of the Spirit is the Bible and Holy Spirit? That the Sword is a weapon that reveals, defends, and attacks?

We may not be able to see the big picture of our life and God's will for us. He has a plan, and He will make a way for us. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us that it begins with TRUST. Today I had a coughing spell, sorry, had to stop in mid the 2nd half to cough a lot. It will have a slight break before I started again. Anyway, the Boots of Peace is about taking that step forward in peace through trust and faith. Sometimes we are afraid to step forward in life because it is hard, scary, or seems impossible... but is it?
