Castelrotto and Alpe di Siusi • Italy04 May 202100:45:35

Breath taking. Stunning. Gorgeous. Charming. Beautiful.

There are so many words I could use to describe the little village of Castelrotto and Alpe di Siusi, the high altitude meadow that sits above the town.

It's one of my absolute favorite places on the planet.

The village of Castelrotto makes the perfect base to explore the Alpe di Siusi and the magnificent Dolomite peaks that surround it.

It has the right amount of amenities yet is small enough to be charming as hell.

And the Alpe di Siusi?

Truly stunning.

And you don't have to be über fit to tackle the trails that criss-cross this meadow.

All you need is a love of nature — and a camera!

Tune in to learn all about this amazing part of northern Italy.

Because I'm betting when you are finished listening, you will be putting Castelrotto and Alpe di Siusi on your list.

Got questions about this incredible part of Italy?

County Donegal • Ireland06 Apr 202100:42:55

Wild. Rugged. Remote.

These are the words I'd use to describe this amazing county in the far Northwestern part of Ireland.

Want to lay your eyes upon some of the most stunning coastline in all of Ireland? Maybe you want to tour an incredible lakeside castle? Perhaps you want to walk on some gorgeous beaches? Or commune with the ancient spirits at a stone circle? How about some fun pub time?

County Donegal has all of this and more. But without the hoards of tourists.

While it may take a bit more effort to get here, once you do, you'll wonder why you didn't come here sooner!

Aragon • Spain with Meg Zirger23 Mar 202100:50:59

How would you like to see an incredible Spanish Basilica, hike along gorgeous mountain trails, eat some delicious tapas and drink some tasty Spanish wine — all without the crowds?

Then look no further than the region of Aragon in Spain.

My good friend, Meg Zirger, has been living in this region for 10 years and she loves it!

She is going to give us some good tips on where to go, what to see and what to experience in this northeastern part of Spain that has so many hidden treasures to explore.

From the regional capital of Zaragoza with its jaw dropping Basilica and vibrant tapas bar scene to the Pyrenees mountains of Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park to the Mudejar architecture and beautiful villages of the Teruel province, the Aragon region has something for everyone.

And this region does not see the number of visitors as other hot spots in Spain such as Barcelona, Madrid, San Sebastian or the Costa del Sol.

So you get to a more authentic and true Spanish experience and that chance to connect with the locals who, Meg claims, are some of the nicest Spanish people in all of Spain.

Want to chat more about Aragon, Spain?

Blair Castle • Scotland17 Sep 202400:43:47

Blair Castle is one of many castles in Scotland.

In fact there are so many castles that you may not be sure which ones are worth visiting and which ones are not.

My personal opinion is Blair Castle is worthy of some time.

This lovely castle is located in the village of Blair Atholl and sits just within Cairngorms National Park.

There is a lot of intriguing history — including some Queen Victoria stories, beautiful pieces of furniture and gorgeous plaster ceilings that wowed me.

Plus it has a magnificent garden that you'll want to wander through.

Europe Travel Bucket List Revisit 202409 Jan 202400:39:47

Wander Your Way Adventures are here!
https://wanderyourwayadventures.com/tours/marvels-tastes-of-the-dolomites-italy/

The first small group tour happens June 16-28, 2024. And we're going to Alto Adige (South Tyrol) Italy! Wine, food, hiking, Novacella Abbey and the stunning Dolomite peaks. Hope to meet you there!

Do you have a travel bucket list?

Maybe you have a specific Europe travel bucket list?

I always have a list.

In fact, in February of 2023 I put out an episode about this very topic.

But things change.

So I think it's a good idea to revisit your Europe travel bucket list each year.

Maybe you actually were able to cross some places off your list.

Perhaps you've added some new destinations (of course you did!).

Maybe you've shuffled some spots around as certain places have become more of a priority.

Now I get it that some people don't like the idea of a "bucket list".

So maybe a better term is a "wish list".

Whatever you call it, I truly believe in dreaming big when it comes to travel.

You can make your travel dreams come true (and I can help)!

So what's on your Europe travel bucket list?

Send me a message at Lynne@WanderYourWay.com and let me know!

Northwest Scotland19 Sep 202301:11:59

Northwest Scotland is wild, rugged and remote.

And absolutely stunning!

It's one of my favorite places in all of Scotland.

This is where you to go see the incredible beauty of mountains, lochs, moors and glens.

It's in Northwest Scotland that you see deer, eagles, dolphins and whales.

And it's where you go to slow down and let yourself be.

Oh, and if you're into geology, you'll love it.

Yes, it takes more time and effort to get here.

But it is worth it!

Alpe di Siusi • Italy11 Jul 202300:47:00

It's this incredible high alpine meadow in the Sudtirol province of northern Italy.

In this episode, I'm going to offer up some updates on this amazing destination as well as make a case for why you should stay a couple of nights in the Alpe di Siusi.

Because you can actually spend the night — or 2 or 3 — in this gorgeous piece of Italy.

And by spending the night you get to see the sun rise and set across some beautiful peaks and you may be able to tackle some of those tougher or longer trails.

It's really a very special and unique place to spend a few nights.

Why?

Well they ooze charm, are in a stunning location and there are a lot of vineyards surrounding them.

Plus there are some gorgeous lakes, loads of trails for hiking and biking and some very intriguing history.

So if you love wine, charming towns and the great outdoors you need to tune into this episode.
