Japanese Christmas Over The Years
Épisode 141
mardi 21 décembre 2021 • Durée 28:19
It's that time of year again when expats in Japan do their best to recreate the Christmas spirit if they are stuck here for the holidays. Given that another Covid wave has started to kick up across the globe, chances are many foreigners will not be celebrating with their extended families in their home countries. Instead, some will very successfully deliver an impressive Christmas experience to their Japanese friends and family here in Nippon land, and some will fail miserably, and just be left with memories of what once was before they chose to live in a different culture with a slightly different interpretation of yuletide joy. In this episode, Ben and Burke look back on their own Japanese Christmas experiences over the years, and also discuss the plans they have to celebrate this year!
