Should I Follow This ADHD Idea? With Shell Mendelson
jeudi 20 juillet 2023 • Durée 48:45
Your purpose is the personal theme for your life and it drives you every day. ~ Shell Mendelson
During this episode ADHD Career Coach Shell Mendelson and I talk about all of the brilliant ideas we have as ADHDers and how to know whether it’s your life purpose or a mission.
WE TALK ABOUT
✔️Your purpose is the theme for your life
✔️A mission aligns with your purpose but has a beginning, a middle and an end
✔️Prioritizing preferred experiences
…………..
GUEST RESOURCES
With a master’s in counseling, and emphasis on career, Shell has helped hundreds of ADHD adults and young adults over the past 35 years find a fulfilling and sustainable career direction.
She has also experienced her fair share of career changes. In her 20s, she had a string of unsuccessful secretary jobs, which helped her realize that her strengths in shorthand didn’t mean she was fit for administrative work.
Once she found her real life’s work over 35 years ago, she has never looked back. Her work is synonymous with joy, and she will likely never “retire.” She wants that for everyone.
And with ADHD, it is absolutely imperative that we make a choice that reflects that joyful experience for the majority of our work day.
