For many people, Revelation is considered to be less approachable than other books of the Bible. Navigating all of the strange imagery, symbolic language and depictions of heavenly visions that have sparked endless for centuries can be overwhelming for readers.

One aspect of Union Theological College’s mission is to equip ministry students for ordained ministry in the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. However, there may be those who don’t know exactly how ministers are trained at UTC. UTC Principal, Prof. Michael McClenahan, chats to our recently appointed Dean of Ministerial Studies and Development, Rev Gordon Best, to glean a few useful insights into ministry training and community life at Union Theological College.
