At the center of Metropolis West lies Glasshouse—the shiniest and richest district in the city. And delivering to that district is Caine Reyes: hot-tempered, with a fast mouth and a faster car. With a jettisoned all-purpose bot at their side, they decide to make a quick getaway. Featuring grappling hooks, plasma knives, and figuring out just how to pronounce L0R-3NZ.
Running away from Celadon Carbonate's bots proves a little trickier than expected, so Caine and Su-jin make a quick getaway. Sort of. Featuring bad jokes about ray guns, muzak for robots, and an underground passage we totally knew was there. Honest.
Tensions are high as Zero Zero tries to find the spy. Nobody is above suspicion, and nobody is leaving until the truth is revealed. Featuring Caine’s first words to Jet, thoughts about being the middle child, and a lot of accusations being flung around.
Trigger warnings: Yelling, mild violence, deception, and discussion of an injury in depth (23:13).
The tension finally comes to a head when Caine’s scar is brought into question. Zero Zero breaks apart. Featuring a guy who can’t take rejection, heartfelt conversations, and Encyclopedia Su-jin-ica.

The Tollbooth has never felt more uninviting: suddenly desolate, scavenged under the heat of the irradiated sunlight.
