| How a U.S. Soldier Became A Flight Attendant with Keturah Johnson from the Association of Flight Attendants | 11 Nov 2025 | 00:49:50 | |
In this special Veterans Day episode, we sit down with the incomparable Keturah Johnson—combat veteran, flight attendant, and International Vice President of AFA-CWA. As the first queer woman of color and veteran elected to serve in this powerful union role, Keturah shares her extraordinary journey from the tarmac to the battlefield to the picket lines. She opens up about her military service during “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” her fierce advocacy for trans rights, and the fight for visibility and equity in aviation. This conversation is full of heart, truth, and power. We dive into what it means to wear the uniform—both in the military and in the skies—as a queer person of color, and how union activism is helping change the future of the flight attendant profession. | What Airline Passengers Hate About Flight Attendants | 23 Dec 2025 | 00:41:58
In this episode, we decided to flip the script a bit. You hear us complain about passengers all the time—on the podcast, on the jumpseat, in the galley, everywhere. So today, we handed the mic to you: the passengers. We asked what flight attendants do that drives you nuts, and wow… you did not hold back. From safety announcements you swear are unintelligible, to overhead bin drama, to call bells, credit card pitches, bad perfume, and everything in between—you told us exactly how you feel, and we’re diving right into it. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Two Guys episode if we didn’t get sidetracked ranting about our own recent flights, telling wild stories from the aisle, and laughing at the absolutely unbelievable stuff people do at 35,000 feet. And yes—we even squeeze in a round of galley gossip that may or may not involve a cowboy hat, Stampede Week, and a full-on swan dive in an airport arrivals hall. Buckle up… this one gets chaotic. | What It's Really Like Living in Hotels as an Airline Flight Attendant | 03 Mar 2026 | 00:36:25
Hotels. The glamorous perk of flight attendant life… until they’re not. This week, we’re pulling back the curtain on what crew hotel life is really like — the good, the weird, and the absolutely unhinged. From “food beds” vs. “sleeping beds” to conference tables with no actual beds in sight, we’ve seen it all. We’re also venting (just a little) about holiday passengers, airplane bathroom etiquette, and those deplaning sprinters who think row 37 is somehow first off the aircraft. Plus, in Galley Gossip, a mid-flight wardrobe change turns the aisle into a full-blown fashion runway somewhere over Kentucky. Buckle up. This one’s chaotic in the best way. In this episode, we’re taking you along on one of our wildest travel adventures yet—our group trip to Thailand. What should have been a smooth non-rev journey quickly turned into a chaotic travel saga involving snowstorms, canceled flights, last-minute tickets, and a four-hour Uber ride through a blizzard just to make it to the airport. Somehow, against all odds, we made it to Thailand… barely in time for the trip to begin. Once we arrived, though, the adventure really kicked off. From rooftop welcome drinks in Bangkok to tuk-tuk food tours, floating markets, long-tail boats, and even trying some questionable street food, the trip was packed with unforgettable moments. [11:20] Night one: night markets, an empty nightclub, and learning Bangkok nightlife starts late. [13:00] Day two includes a cultural museum, a long-tail boat ride, and a new favorite Thai dish. [15:20] A tuk-tuk street food tour leads us to exotic fruit and some very questionable snacks. [18:10] The famous railway market and floating markets where vendors move their shops for passing trains. [21:00] An unforgettable drag show featuring queens from Drag Race Thailand. | How Flight Attendants Balance Mom Life: Pregnancy, Parenting, & Flying with Kids | 05 May 2026 | 01:09:35
How do flight attendants balance raising a family with an unpredictable flying schedule? And what is it really like to work at 35,000 feet while pregnant? Our guest this week, Brittney, shares her firsthand experience as someone who’s living both lives — flight attendant and mom — and she’s not holding anything back! From working flights while pregnant (yes, it’s as intense as it sounds) to the reality of airline policies, she breaks down what actually happens behind-the-scenes and what most people don’t realize. We also get into the hot topic everyone has opinions on: kids on planes. After years of seeing it all as crew, her perspective has completely changed now that she’s a parent, and it might change yours too. Brittney shares some of her best travel tips for traveling with kids on planes. Plus, we talk about the emotional side of balancing this career with motherhood, the schedule chaos, the guilt, the support systems, and what it actually takes to make this lifestyle work with a kid at home. Episode Highlights: [0:00] Welcome to Episode #31! And of course, we lighten things up with “Carry-On or Check It?” (A new segment!) and “Crosschecked!”, our always popular lightning round to close it out. If you’ve ever flown with a kid, traveled while pregnant, or wondered how flight attendants manage a life outside the plane, this is one you don’t want to miss!
