Across a writing career spanning the last three decades of the last century, Zelazny picked up six Hugo awards and three Nebula awards. He is a mentor to business owners and student interns at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) and at UNCW’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE.) Of course, at the time when he was writing, using a word like aristocracy was completely cool. It meant elite, what we aspire to, what we admire. Nowadays, the use of the word aristocracy is not nearly as acceptable or PC. I read DH’s quote to a friend of mine the other day and he said: “So what you're saying is - Consciousness is the pinnacle of the whole shebang?”. Exactly. Here’s another quote: “The next stage of our evolution as a species, is the evolution of our Consciousness." … and that's why I decided to make that my life mission - to serve the evolution of human consciousness.
