Like always, we welcome different opinions when it comes to all things motorsports, including when it comes to the Josef Newgarden restart scandal. Was he at fault...was he not? Whose to say?? At least he’s giving us something that IndyCar has been lacking which is a STORYLINE. Hate to say it but…you gotta keep the people entertained and racing just doesn’t cut it on its own. Take F1 for example. They’re keeping things “interesting” by going after the very people that helped bring new fans to the sport!! (Of course we dive into that as well)

Oh how the tables have turned... Lando Norris wins his second ever race with a 22 second gap. - how very Max Verstappen of him. Speaking of Max, we're still talking about who will race beside him in 2025 because, as we know, contracts mean nothing (sorry Logan)... We did, unfortunately, record before a certain decision was made so stay tuned for a breakdown next week.

In IndyCar news, all is right in the world because David and Will are friends again. The championship battle also heats up going into the last 3 races of the year, as Will Power closes in on Alex Palou's lead.

If you’re a Lando fan, this weekend was for you. If you’re an Oscar fan, we are so sorry and if you’re a Carlos fan…at least he won best radio messages. If we learned anything from Miami, K Mags is the type of guy you want in your corner also Checo and Emma have very similar driving habits. This episode is all over the place, from popping champagne to finally addressing David’s release from Arrow McLaren, there’s certainly lots to discuss and are you surprised that boy bands is brought up? You shouldn’t be.

What is going on at Red Bull? Will we see an end to their dominance in the near future? What about Williams? Stake F1? So many speculations so little time! Meanwhile things are heating up over in IndyCar as well, thank god for the mannequin breaking some of the tension. There’s never a dull moment in motorsports, and with Miami and the 500 just around the corner we’re more excited than ever.

We weren’t at Long Beach but our bestie Mak (maklovesmotorsport) was! She highlights her favourite parts, the best interactions and some funny encounters. Like us, Mak was introduced to motorsport beacuse of DTS and now does what she can to bring F1 fans over to Indy. We chat about the icon that is Scott Dixon, the difference in penalties between the two series and of course we show the Arrow McLaren drivers some love all while counting down the days until the Indy500!

The Chinese GP came with a few surprising moments, like the literal grass starting on fire and the 180 for Lewis in less than 12 hours. But hey, we enjoyed it just like Charles is enjoying life as a dog dad and a gelato brand owner. If anyone thrived this weekend, it was Zhou, if anyone needs a time out..it’s definitely Lance. And like always we’re still trying to figure out who’s taking that second Red Bull seat next year. Also if you’re a Swiftie, the last 5 minutes of the episode are for you.

Shoutout Lance for making the red flag entertaining (to Emma, at least) The Japanese GP was entertaining to say the least but we’re more curious about what the future looks like for motorsports. The 2025 grid? F1 Academy? IndyCar change ups??? We want to know !!!! Also, we’re not letting Sauber fly under the radar this year, we’re keeping an eye on them just like Liam Lawson is keep an eye on Danny’s seat.

What happens when 3 motorsport girlies go to an IndyCar race weekend? A lot of content, a lot of stories and a lot of chaos. From driver interactions to being absolutely starstruck at meeting our idols, it’s safe to say that Track Talk (Hannah, Emma AND Boston) made the most of our time at Thermal Club. We have to thank you, our followers, and IndyCar for making this happen and we hope you enjoy our 1.5 hour long episode of us just trying to convince you to love this series as much as we do. We're talking two races this weekend! IndyCar season opener and F1 Race 2 in Saudi Arabia! For the 100th time, if you’re not watching Indy you’re missing out on some amazing action and also..who doesn’t love Pato O’Ward? Across the globe, Alpine was Alpine-ing, Haas actually had a good back up plan and don’t talk to Emma about Lance pls. Ollie showed up and showed OFF this weekend (Someone sign him for 2025 or else!!) And finally, for all females in motorsport, fans, creators, employees, we see you, we hear you!

Well folks, the summer break is upon us, and there is truly not much to discuss in the world of motorsports. We do, however, have a couple motorsport x pop culture crossovers to mention - bonus points if you know who Harrison Osterfield is. We also finally have an answer as to which F1 personalities attend the olympics, however, Fred Vasseur wasn't one we saw coming. Caitlyn brown: Team Penske’s only female over the wall pit crew mechanic and the first to win the Indy 500 in May of 2023. She’s an iconic, she’s making history, and all she wants to do is win. She chats about her career, her team, the best parts about IndyCar and a little bit about what Josef Newgarden is like in real life. We are so happy to call her a friend and an inspiration as Caitlyn has opened doors for females in motorsport and she she will continue do so, rocking that ponytail the entire time. 

The first race of the season was exactly what we expected! Max won, no one knew what to call Stake F1 and Carlos showed us exactly what he can do. Alpine wins an award for creating a bus for the 2024 season (hey at least it isn’t a tractor) and Alex, we just gotta thank you for giving us the best moment of the race - IYKYK. VCARB girlies are fighting, there’s some trouble in paradise over at Red Bull, but hey, we got a Loint! For our Indy Besties, the countdown is officially on for their first race of the season and make sure you keep your eye out for some exciting things happening at Track Talk!

Did episode 1 of DTS season 6 turn you into a Lance fan? Welcome to the club bestie! If you’re not the Live Love Lance train yet, that’s okay too, the year is still early. There are some change ups in our favorite drivers and teams this year, but hey, we’re just girls, we change our mind a lot. We may not have watched all of DTS but we watched enough to know that VCARB is not going to be an easy name to get used to and while we’re at it, we might as well change Stake’s name again too! All that really matters is the season opener is upon us and we are ready take on the record breaking 2024 F1 calendar with all of you!

New rule for 2024: Stay off the bikes. Now that that’s out of the way, we are so excited to have the girls on for a fun F1 Bingo episode and to no ones surprise, we do get sidetracked many times. (We’re just girls, we can’t help it) From 2025 driver theories to who we want/don’t want to see in the paddock we really touch on just about anything that could happen this year. The 2023 season was full of highs, lows, surprises and iconic radio messages. Some crashes, some memes and a lot of Red Bull wins. Do we recap it all in this 49 minute episode? And with that…the 2023 season comes to an end. It’s bittersweet for some, it’s the best news in the world for Charles and Carlos, whereas Max will probably be reliving every single race win until the 2024 season starts. Some things you may have missed - Pato O’Ward officially has his FIA Super License, there’s a driver rivalry that slid under the radar all season and we’re not just excited to say goodbye to the SF-23 and the W14, there’s a lot of cars that deserve to be (dis)respectfully trashed after this year. As usual, Ferrari drivers are left to make their own strategies and we’re all still questioning the FIA even after 22 races. Also, you may be wondering…why did Carlos DNF? Besties…we have no clue.

We’ll admit, Vegas was better than we thought it would be, but it was certainly a race to forget if you’re a McLaren fan. We stand with everyone who feels personally attacked by Carlos’ unfair penalty and don’t worry, you aren’t alone if you thought that this was William’s weekend (Spoiler: It wasn’t). Charles’ proved to us all that he can do something with that Ferrari SF-23, Max may or may not have entered his true villain era, and we’re still wondering if a night race in the desert is actually a good idea because it’s safe to say that everyone will be sleeping until Abu Dhabi, but hey, as Max says…Viva Las Vegas!!

What happens in Vegas…well, actually we don’t know what’s happening in Vegas nor do we know what the next 10 years look like for that race but we’re all in this together. Will we see a Lando win? A Williams Podium? Disaster at turn 1? Set your alarms and get ready for the coldest night race of the season. We wouldn’t hate a Hangover reenactment but we would be a little upset if F1 doesn’t give Logan driver of the day. Some special highlights this episode on Charles Leclerc, females in motorsport making history and IndyCar because we’re having Indy withdrawals. Also…we’re still waiting for that McLaren game show.

Live Love Lance! This was a weekend to remember if you’re an Aston Martin fan and maybe one to forget if you’re a Ferrari fan (Breaking News: Emma isn’t a real Ferrari Fan) We saw our last Sprint of the season and we know Max is happy about that and we also saw a Stranger Things x Formula 1 crossover during qualifying. 6 DNF’s in a race is a lot but that doesn’t beat Esteban Ocon’s personal record of his DNF’s in a season. If you’re wondering, Mercedes is still very much in the points race, Alfa Romeo is not and Lando Norris seems to be the only one who can battle Max. Furious Hot Takes returns and this may be the first time one of these Hot Takes is TOO hot.

Does Red Bull give you wings? Or does it give us all anxiety because there are still Checo retirement rumours floating around? (Whatever the answer is, Hannah apologizes for jinxing Checo’s race) In other team news, AlphaTauri upped their game this weekend and Aston Martin might be...for sale…? This weekend we saw some fascinating highs, like Max getting his third world championship and Oscar winning his first (sprint) race. We saw some major lows, like Lance’s outburst and the wellbeing of the drivers not being taken into consideration. Qatar was certainly…something. You don’t need to be a McLaren fan but let’s give credit where credit is due, they’ve turned that tractor around, even if Oscar may be a little traumatized for post race interviews moving forward. The Track Talk Triple-Header is complete! This weekend we watched the conclusion of Formula E season 10, the Hungarian Grand Prix, and Indycar in the streets of Toronto. Of course. Emma tells all about the latter as she was boots on the ground in Toronto chatting with drivers. fans and team members. The Indycar summer break may now be in full swing but that doesn't mean we won't discuss silly season, specifically, whether Theo Pourchaire will remain on the Indycar grid in 2025. The Flying Dutchman (Max, not the character from SpongeBob) claimed his ninth win this weekend at his home Grand Prix and hey, you know what, he deserves it! Can he claim a 10th next week or will the Monza Curse get in the way? We saw a few red flags, a new face on the track and a new driver on the podium. We’re all wishing Danny Ric a speedy recovery and we’re also wishing that people stop comparing drivers who aren’t anywhere in the same league. Danny Ric is BACK and his opening credit scene isn’t everything Emma hoped and dreamed of but at least he finished the race unlike Alpine struggling with back to back double DNF's. We had such high hopes for them and Aston Martin but it seems that the teams to watch out for are McLaren and Mercedes. Oh and what about Ferrari, you ask? We’re disappointed, but not surprised and we have a totally unserious theory as to why Charles might be struggling. Red Bull broke records, Lando broke a trophy and we can’t forget about Track Stats with Han this week, but if you haven’t watched the 2021 Spa race, that is truly okay.
