Riley Breckenridge and Tim Very, discuss their creative processes, touring experiences, and the challenges of making music as they get older. They reflect on the similarities between their bands, particularly in terms of musical experimentation and trying new techniques like electronic drum loops. They emphasize the difficulties of songwriting, the importance of inspiration, and the time it takes to craft high-quality music. They also touch on the physical toll of touring and performing as they've matured, their shared experiences in the industry, and their enthusiasm for continuing to make music and tour, despite the hurdles they face.
