| Greedy Weed Industry Corporations - Seshisode 151 | 11 Oct 2024 | 00:43:03 | |
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem. We are talking about corporate greed in the weed industry. The level of greed in the weed industry is astronomical, but I guess it's just a reflection of the societal greed we see on a personal level, every day on social media. In Canada the weed industry is a budding industry new to the game and I understand that the people involved want to see massive and extreme growth very quickly. The problem with that, is that, while try to expand at a rapid pace. These corporations tend to make major missteps, which lead to quite a few operational mistakes. I think this comes from a lack of experience by the heads of these companies to understand the legitimate market. I say this because, in the canadian cannabis industry, there are quite a few business owners that started out on the black market. Their success there, doesn't necessarily translate to a legitimate business. They are still trying to operate with an underground mindset. I'm sure there is room for some of those practices to help grow these companies, however, there needs to be a shift in the quality of leadership within the cannabis industry. Hope you enjoy the sesh! | Business a Pot Shop and Crazy Customers! - Seshisode 150 | 05 Oct 2024 | 00:49:37
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem we're smoking some East Coast Dank'z by MTL Cannabis. The lineage is Grape Gas and Gelato 41, making it a 29% THC Indica. I am smoking Orange Juice, Cured Resin by 1964, in the Stundenglass. It's an 83% THC Cured Resin. This sesh we're talking about the eclectic group of customers we see on a daily basis. Being that retail cannabis is a relatively new development in society. There is a lot of interpersonal carry-over from the black market. We used to have a schedule a time to go visit a guy in a basement or a garage. Upon arrival we had to commit at least 45 minutes to visiting this individual. In some cases you ended up getting sucked into helping with chore list or entertaining kids while they complete some of the tasks on their list. This meant we had to build relationships with our plugs and has carried over to the retail industry where, there is an abundance of people who come into the shop with, at least a small amount of intent to inform you of all the goings on in their lives. I know that we are called "Budtenders". It sounds similar to "Bartender" and there is a clear expectation that we lend a sympathetic ear to our customers. This means that in some cases we get high jacked and ear beaten with peoples problems from time to time. Though I don't mind sharing my years of wisdom to help someone out. Maybe the time to acquire some life advice is not in a packed pot shop. All I'm saying, is that it's a business. Would you go to Walmart and tell the employees there all about your last colonoscopy? I don't think so. Hope you enjoy the sesh! | Diddy is an Animal! - Seshisode 149 | 27 Sep 2024 | 00:42:20
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem we're talking about what everyone is talking about. P Diddy and his recent indictment. From freak off parties, to racketeering, to murder plots, to human trafficking. This dude is insane. Since this is pretty heavy and we like to keep things light around here we're dabbing up 1964's Orange Juice cured resin. For a little extra pop, we mixed in a bit of Terra Labs Cherry Ak resin. Lets just say it added a nice little energized kicked to the sesh. I gotta ask though, did we really not see this coming? I mean the dude has been marred in controversy since the beginning of his career. It's alleged that he put out a hit on his own artist, Biggie Smalls. Not to mention his possible involvement in the shooting of Tupac in New York at a recording studio. This guy has always done whatever he can to maintain power over the music industry. His label is called Bad Boy records. He named himself Puff Daddy, then P. Diddy, then shortened it to Diddy. Started throwing Freak Off parties where almost immediately there were low level rumblings of nefarious on goings. Yet celebs and high powered people attended these parties and worked with the man because of the money he was pulling in and the power he held. Maybe I am naive but it's appalling to me that, as rumblings of Diddy's behaviour started to reach the public, those in the know protected this predator. I don't understand how these powerful people just sweep these kinds of things under the rug. What does this say about the psyche of people seeking fame and fortune? Does it suggest that the morals of the famous go to the highest bidder? Hope you enjoy the sesh! | TikTok Culture, Work Ethic and Blue Dream! - Seshisode 148 | 20 Sep 2024 | 01:30:39
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem Justin and Tyler are trying out Blue Dream from Space Race, a 30% hybrid pre roll. As always they start the show with a hit from the Stundenglass, this week they had a little Live resin Orange Juice by 1964, an 83% sativa. This week Justin and Tyler are discussing TikTok culture and work ethic. Each generation is obviously different from the one before it. With the constant need for technological advancement, human interaction suffers. Social awareness declines and interpersonal skills seem to meet an end similar to that of the do-do bird. The mentality of young people has been pressed and adapted to changing technologies that suck the life out of engagement. Leading to a work force that thinks swipe culture actually applies in the real world. As great as technology is, it seems to be diminishing our ability to interact, thus creating a disconnect between reality and the virtual world. All that applies online does not necessarily add to a functioning individual in the real world. Many kids are coming into the work force with impatiently short attention spans. Lacking the ability to work through real world problems in real time and not being able to adapt to issues that need progressive problem solving skills. A lot of these green individuals lack the ability to form their own opinions, discern between fake or bad information and complete tasks on their own. If you are given a problem to solve then figure it out. Don't walk around asking everyones input about the problem you are facing. Learn to solve the problem and find the answer. Basically put in the work, that's how you make yourself valuable in the workforce. Hope you enjoy the sesh! | There's a Time and Place for That! - Seshisode 147 | 13 Sep 2024 | 00:38:37
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, we're talking about being an adult. The balance between maturity and fun. As we age we forget what it's like to be a kid. we fall in to our responsibilities and we loose sight of what's important. Sure i understand that we have to take care of our obligations and be leaders to our children. I don't necessarily believe that we have to do it in a stuffy and so called proper manner. I think that we can have fun and take care of business. However I find myself in a pretty consistent debate about my level of fun and silliness. I have been dating a lovely woman who is definitely to good for me. She is very proper and particular about how she conducts herself and what she expects of those around her. I'm an anomaly to her, I think. Where I'm 80% silly and childish. She's 80% serious and mature. She believes there is a time and place for everything. Often that means I have to stop making silly voices or acting like a child. Though I don't disagree, I do think that most adults try to stifle their silly. When I was a kid I would imagine what it would be like, to be an adult. Now as an adult I find most are trying to find their childhood again. I vowed early on in life that I would make a conscious effort to maintain a sense of childish fun. As we get older we lose our wonder. Everything is new and exciting as a kid. There are many experiences that haven't been had and when they are the tastes, smells, feels of that experience stay with you and give you that warm and fuzzy feeling. I think that as an adult our goal should be to maintain that feeling. So instead of being 80% serious and 20% childish. That should be flipped. Besides what's the point of having adult money if you can't have kid fun? Hope you enjoy the Sesh! | Neuralink, the Future of Mankind! - Seshisode 146 | 06 Sep 2024 | 00:28:17
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, we're discussing implants, specifically Neuralink, conspiracy minded people and the irony that is their arguments and actions. Everyone know's someone that goes deep down the rabbit hole. You know the ones. They think everything the government does is evil and controlling. The type of person that thinks that, only the news they are privy to, is the right information. They spout off all day about how the government is trying to deceive you. How covid was a mass experiment designed to asses the worlds governments ability to control the population, on mass. This type of paranoia doesn't normally go hand in hand with the concept of inserting a chip in to your brain. In fact, having a Neuralink implanted pretty much voids all previous worry that the government is out to control you, doesn't it? With everything we know about media, propaganda and government influence. It doesn't concern you that one of, if not the, smartest people on the planet wants to chip us all. Sure you can say it's in an effort to progress humanity and develop a global consciousness. But if we've learned anything from any sci-fi movie ever. It should probably be that, the guy who wants to chip us may have some nefarious plans. Seriously this would potentially make us human puppets. I can't fathom the idea of someone influencing my decisions let alone having total control over my mind. The thought is seriously bananas. Hope you enjoy the Sesh! | Boeing Starliner Stranded in Space! - Seshisode 145 | 30 Aug 2024 | 00:28:06
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem Lets talk about the fact that Boeing has stranded 2 astronauts in space on the international space station. Could you imagine training all your life to be an astronaut and go into space. You finally get called up to the big leagues. They tell you, you're going to man this new space craft but it's just gonna be a quick trip out an back. Next thing you know you're barely out of the atmosphere and you start hearing some rattles and clanks. One of your engines goes and you all of a sudden have a structural problem. Now you have to doc at the international space station and try to fix it. You work on fixing and find out the problem can only be fixed back on earth. Ok cool. You figure no problem we'll hop back on this sardine can and ride it back to earth. Nope! Can't do that. The probability of this piece of junk getting humans back to earth is pretty slim. Now you find out the whole time you've been off the planet. Congress has been hard grilling Boeing on their inability to make a viable space craft. Even though this one took some where near 11 years longer and quite a bit more money than they anticipated. I guess my question is... As an astronaut would this be exciting or terrifying? Part of me thinks it would be exciting because you get to stay in space longer than expected. However the sane part of me thinks you might go a bit bonkers realizing you're trapped in space, with no way home and you can't rely on the people that got you there because, well, they didn't really know what they were doing in the first place. Did they? Hope you enjoy the Sesh! This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, your friendly neighbourhood potheads, Justin and Tyler play "Would You Rather?". We acquired the help of our good friend Anna, to run the production side of the podcast and help out as host of our silliness. This sesh is all about the good times, giggles and creativity. Having a third person really helped us explore each topic and give some of the most ridiculous analysis possible. Whether it was choosing between walking on our hands, or eating with our feet. To risking it all on the flip of a coin, we had a really good time with this episode. If you're looking for a few laughs and absurd explanations this is where it's at. Get in on the fun and join the sesh. Smoke along, free up some head space and answer with us, as we go through these silly scenarios. Let's see if like Tyler and I, we all share a brain. It was surprising to all of us how similar we are. I mean we always had an idea that we shared the same brain, now I think we're convinced of that fact. Prepare for hilarity and start your weekend off with a few belly laughs! Hope you enjoy the sesh. Don't forget to Subscribe and check out Tots420.com
| Bad First Dates! - Seshisode 143 | 16 Aug 2024 | 01:05:17 | |
This week on Thoughts off The Stem, We're talking about the things you should Never do on a first date!
If you follow the podcast, you know that I date from time to time. Most dates I've been on involve a discussion of the worst dates we've had. It's an ice breaker. It helps with finding common ground. There's some real weirdo's out there. With all that in mind we decided to give our opinion on some of the weirdest first date encounters, that we found on line.
So buckle up for some really amazing first date moments. What we learned is that Dudes are really weird about what we think is attractive to women. We're willing to and say some really offside things in an effort to try and attract the opposite sex. We also learned that, women will put up with a lot to find their sole mate. Dudes can almost do anything wrong and most women will give them at least a second chance.
Where as Dudes will put up with very little. In most of the cases in this episode the men left the date as soon as the interaction turned weird. Whether it be an off putting past relationship story, weird behaviour or some kind of outlandish statement. The guys shut the date down immediately. I think that's the biggest difference between the sexes. Women will wait to see. Men feel like they deserve better than they do. Which leads guys saying the most outlandish stuff. Talk about delusional!
If you wanna know what the dating pool is like in the era of online dating, this sesh will definitely give you some insight. It might also turn you off of trying to find your significant other. Who know's? I know it'll make you laugh!
Hope you Enjoy the Sesh!

| Let Me Feed You Like a Baby Bird! - Seshisode 142 | 10 Aug 2024 | 00:56:53 | |
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem Tyler and I are back with our could have been Kind summer fair adventure. It basically turned into a Tuesday afternoon stoned bus ride/adventure. Sure it wasn't what we expected or planned for, but if you are a fan of the podcast your know that Tyler and I can turn any experience in to a hilariously fun adventure. One thing to note is that we were trying out some new Lavalier microphones on this sesh. We were hoping the sound quality would be a step up. I'm not sure if it's my inexperience them or if I just got really cheap ones. It's most likely the latter. But the sound did not come out as clear as I was hoping. I want to take a second to apologize for the poor sound quality on this one. I thought I could clean it up in post production. I did my best but it's still not on par with previous episodes. Even though the beginning is a little rocky it does even out as we settle in to the sesh. Provided you can grind through the opening you're in for a treat. This sesh is all the giggles and good feels you expect from Thoughts Off The Stem. We've been gone for a bit because life gets in the way some times, but now we're back with a solid sesh full of fun stories and laughter. | Retail Management, Leadership and Having Difficult Discussions! - Seshisode 141 | 02 Aug 2024 | 00:51:11
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem we're talking about what it's like to manage a pot shop. How to be a good leader and what it takes to be a good manager. Speaking from personal experience and utilizing a couple anecdotes from my work life. I'm diving into the topic of what it takes to be a good manager. The topics and ideas in this podcast aren't just confined to the cannabis industry, but retail and management as a whole. We as managers have to have difficult conversations with team members on a pretty consistent basis. The ability to deliver that information is crucial to the growth of your business. More importantly these concepts help maximize employee retention, while attracting the types of people you want to have as employees. We as executive leaders have an obligation to help nurture that progression. Enhancing talent with a personal touch is probably one of the hardest things to accomplish for any management team. To best achieve a thriving environment, we have to find a balance between the business and personal influence. Step up your management game and join the sesh!! | Shots Fired, Maui Wowie and a Stoned Bus Ride! - Seshisode 140 | 26 Jul 2024 | 00:25:54
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem I'm finally getting the chance to try some Maui wowie! This sesh is a bit of an update. We've been gone for a while so it's catch up time. We were supposed to go to the Kind Summer Fair but the weather had different plans so instead we just had a stoned bus adventure. Surprisingly I still had as much fun. We ended up getting routed home in Brampton. My first time there amd definitely not a pace I plan to go back to. It's all kinds of messed up. As messed up was the Trump assassination attempt. I couldn't believe it. From looking for his shoes to that fist pump, imagine what you would do if that was you. Dude that's some realish right there. Since I'm smoking the Maui Wowies I'm reviewing them. I've been wanting to try this strain since Half Baked came out. So it's been a while and well, you'll just have to hear what I have to say. | ProBiotics, a Secret Formula and a Dog! - Seshisode 139 | 07 Jun 2024 | 00:48:19
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, I'm trying out Freedom Cannabis' Secret Formula. It's a 28% THC Indica. The Terp profile is solid. If you're looking for a heavy creeper that gives you spins, this might be for you. To counteract the effects of this indica, I'm also smoking Trailblazers, Hustle & Haze pre rolls. They are a 14% THC with another 5% THCV, Sativa. I know it sounds like these are light, however the addition of THCV makes them more potent than what the numbers say. If you're looking for a productive sativa, you'll want to tune in for this review. I thought it would be fun to discuss some of the eye opening scenarios I've had as a first time dog owner. I've put her through 2 fazes of training and she definitely needs the third. However, I have noticed a few little details that, I think most people don't think about when considering getting a dog. I'm also pretty sure these are the types of things you don't notice or think about until you have a dog. Join the sesh, load a bowl, roll a joint, do a dab and lets discuss a few pointers for raising an American Bully. As always there are a few anecdotes peppered through the sesh to better illustrate some of the success's and challenges I've had in learn how to train and raise a puppy that looks like the k9 version of Arnold Schwarzenegger. | Social Media, Crossing Boundaries and Cured Resin! - Seshisode 138 | 31 May 2024 | 00:41:34
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem. In the Stundenglass is a cured resin from 1964 called Orange juice. A sativa with loads of flavour. This weeks pre rolls are BC Doobies, White Chocolate. Another solid sativa. It has a flavour I can't put my finger on. With Tyler off at band practice. Justin went on a bit of a random rant about the state of society and his perception of the human race's inability to socially interact. Apparently we spend to much time being guarded and withdrawn rather than embracing the human element. Supposedly we've become so reliable on technology that the lines of socially acceptable interaction have become blurred. To the point where we take offence at the attempt for communication and interaction. Any way you get the point. This seshisode is pretty close to a crazy old man, arms raised, neck red, eyes beady, cheeks tight, long winded, hot air blowing, senile, out of touch, grump, ranting about how he doesn't fit into society in his decrepit old age. To be fair he does admit his wrong doing in this hypothesis of humanity. The question really being asked is... Was it really that weird? Hope you enjoy the Sesh! | Nootropics, The Future of Humanity and Blueberry Hash! - Seshisode 137 | 24 May 2024 | 01:14:27
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, we figured since we talk about hash enough, it's time we smoke some on the show. So we loaded up the G-pen Connect in the Stundenglass with a nice little ball of hash in an attempt to see how it would smoke.
In this sesh we tried out Divvy's Blueberry Hash along with a few pre rolls and some concentrates in the Yocan Pillar. I took a nutropic before the show because I have always wondered if they work and whether or not they would melt my brain. A lot of neurologists do state that the effects of nutropics are no more than the placebo effect. There are a few who recognize that some of the compounds in a nutropics ingredients may provide some neurological health benefits. Kinda funny considering, that in this day and age some doctors are starting to recognize that some of the components that make up cannabis may also provide some health benefits. What I'm saying is, it's kind of funny to me, that we are so hesitant to recognize and accept the capabilities of natural health aids.
It's a little sad that our nutrition has basically devolved in to eating edible paste in a multitude of forms. I'm starting to understand why people see the future of humanity as us evolving in to grey alien looking beings with the ability to telepathically communicate. We as a society are so driven by profit that we operate like a Miami coke dealers from the 80's. Lets import the best foods then step on it several times and cut it with whatever will raise profits. Forget what it does to the population. Who care's if customers drop dead or suffer major health issues. They don't know it but they need food pumped full of preservatives, hormones and steroids.
This sesh was super fun. Maybe it was the nutropics, maybe it was the weed or maybe it was the mix of the two but my brain was working with a level of focus that I haven't felt in a long time. The conversation seemed to run a little more smoothly. Even though we smoked copious amounts of marijuana I noticed there was no real lull or space outs in the conversation. Placebo effect or not there seemed to be a notable difference in my brains ability to function and stay focused. Doesn't that mean that the Placebo effect may also be a positive health benefit? If your brain thinks it's working better and your body thinks it's function better isn't that actually a good thing?
This one was super fun to do. Hope you enjoy the Sesh!

| Achieving Balance and a Gorilla Named Gill ! - Seshisode 136 | 17 May 2024 | 01:01:54 | |
his week on Thoughts Off The Stem Justin and Tyler are back with another epic Sesh! This weeks sesh focused on balance in smoking experiences as well as life and the paralell that connects the two. We light up a variety of strains through out the sesh, which, of course takes our discussion down a winding road of hillarity. Amazingly we were able to review a wide variety of strains while slipping in stories about pet gorillas, societal interactions, fanny packs, and some how, relating it all back to achieving balance. This sesh was packed with some solid reviews, so take note for your next trip to the dispo. If we did our jobs right you'll get a few chuckles out of this sesh as well. Hope you enjoy the Sesh! | When You Try To Be Smart But, You Forgot Your Dumb! - Seshisode 135 | 11 May 2024 | 00:54:07
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, I'm solo. Tyler couldn't make it this week, it's all good though. He'll be back next week. So this week is a bit of catch up. It's also quite the brain fart. I had an idea but i got high. I was trying to talk about the differences in generations and their work ethic, as well as their thought process and beliefs about what work really is. Ultimately i'm pretty sure I sounded like a grumpy old man who can't change with the times. There is some good stuff in there it's just between all the pauses and forgetting where I was going and what I was doing. If nothing else this should be a good laugh and a good depiction of what a sativa that changes your world, is like. There is a point where I pull it together a little bit. I also review a couple strains and discuss the idea of flavour. For example, when people ask me if there is anything that tastes like a specific thing, such as cherries, in flower. Well not really. Weed tastes like weed man. With maybe a hint of some sort of flavour, but that's far and few between. The first half is a little slow but again it really does do a good job of depicting the start of the high from that massive bong hit. The space out that comes with the initial hit, followed by the inability to keep track of the conversation. I blame the bong man, it really messed me up this time. | What Makes A Good Budtender? - Seshisode 134 | 22 Mar 2024 | 01:09:57
Seshisode 134 This week on Thoughts Off The Stem... Justin and Tyler are sampling the Guava Lime Go-Time Thcv 510 vape cart from ShredX. While discussing what makes a good Budtender/Employee. The cannabis industry in Canada is still in it's infancy. It is our opinion that as Budtenders we have an obligation to represent cannabis in a more professional way. We really try to impart the idea that, even though the environment we have cultivated is relaxed and laid back. We are the educators of cannabis products for a lot of people. So we need to shed the stereotypical stoner cliche and deliver a cohearent understanding of a wide variety of cannabis products. As much as we've dumped on crusty customers. There is a flip side to that and it's crusty employee's. Budtenders need to be welcoming and knowledgable in order to discard the negative stigma that still lingers around cannabis. It starts with product knowledge and customer service. Greeting customers at the door with a welcoming and upbeat attitude is the first step in creating trust and customer base who know your shop is there spot. We understand that there are to many Budtenders out there that are lacking knowledge or are only in it for the discount. It is our top priority to hire people that compliment each others skills and show a genuine interest in the products we sell. The culture we've created at work promotes an uplifting and joyful experience that really compliments the business. So we thought it could help others if we talked about how we manage an over achieving successful cannabis retail shop. As well as, what we look for in and expect of, our employees/Budtenders. As always, we do it with humor, knowledge and comically derailed conversations. Hope you enjoy the Sesh! #podcast #comedy #fiction #fictionpodcast #comedypodcast #indiepodcast #humor #funny #entertainment #thoughtsoffthestem
| Get Ready To Blaze: Best Stoner Movies, A New Blunt, Mushrooms and The Matrix! | 15 Mar 2024 | 01:18:58 | |
Seshisode 133 This week on Thoughts Off The Stem Tyler and I are back, talking about our top 5 stoner movies. Reviewing a brand new, 3 gram, diamond infused blunt from Kronic and doing a few flips of the Stundenglass. To start the show we're smoking Cherry AK live resin from Terra Labs. This is one of Tyler's favourites. It's an amazing hybrid with a calm, relaxing vibe and a smooth, light flavor. We got our hands on a brand new blunt! Well brand new to us. We decided this sesh would be the perfect opportunity to try them out for the first time. So buckle up for our Top 5 Stoner Movies and a review of, the "Authentic Diamond Infused Blunt" by Kronic. To keep it classy. When we finished our 3 gram blunts (like I mean, we each had a 3 gram diamond infused blunt. After taking a couple flips from the Stundenglass, man. That's a lot of weed to smoke during a podcast. We should seriously get props for this I think). Any way... We broke out our pipes. These DL Pulsar 510 vape cart pipes are incredible. The battery lasts for ever. They look awesome, they conceal your cart completely and give an amazing hit. | The Governments 500 Million Dollar Surplus - Seshisode 132 | 01 Mar 2024 | 00:38:44
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem we're talking about the fact that the Ontario Cannabis Store has a 500 million dollar stock pile of cash. What's concerning about this is, that when marijuana was legalized for recreational consumption, part of the deal was that in Ontario the OCS would give back a portion to the government in order to help fund government and city services in Ontario. Meaning that there could be an influx of cash injected into Ontarios economic infrastructure, education system and our healthcare system. These are just a few of the areas we badly need a financial boost. As a country and as a province we are all struggling financially to keep up with an astonishingly rapid rate of inflation, unaffordable housing along with the inability to put an acceptable and filling amount of food on our tables. This government clearly doesn't care about anything but their pockets and we shouldn't be ok with that. This is just my opinion obviously but it would be really hard for anyone out there to convince me otherwise at this point. How, as leaders of anything can you have huge all encompassing financial burden, spread thick across your population and do nothing with a 500 million dollar surplus? You made this available to yourself when writing legislation during the legalization of a new industry, that you knew would potentially put mass amounts of funds back into the infrastructure of the province. Our current government seemingly doesn't care to fix the mess it's made unless it benefits individual members of congress. Our current administration has given us a full middle finger salute by ineffectively managing the province and the country. The fact that they are willing to leave 500 million dollars in a bank account while our education, healthcare and food sectors are falling deeper into financial ruin, screams they don't care about alleviating the financial burden they imposed on Canadian citizens. I didn't realize how much this mattered or angered me until I read an article on mjbiz.com that outlined exactly what's going on with this 500 million dollar surplus. It's aggravating and baffling that giving that surplus back was built into the structure of legalized cannabis in Ontario and not one politician has come to their senses enough to ask for what is theirs/ours. Mean while a bag of apples now cost $8.99. Our government is clearly a joke at this point. A college kid out on their own for the first time can do a better job of budgeting than these clowns. | Minimal Packaging and No Gimmicks! - Seshisode 131 | 23 Feb 2024 | 00:43:13
This week on Thoughts Off The Ste, I got glasses. That's right! It's official I'm old. For those that don't need glasses. You really don't know what you can't see until you can see. I know someone can relate to this. Now that I can see clearly. Lets talk about what makes a good producer. It isn't about who's got the best font or most noticeable packaging. It's not about how much shelf space you can get. Definitely don't dress it up with gimmicks. We're potheads, not dummies. We'll notice after our first sesh. It's really about knowing and understanding your limitations. This week I've got the perfect example of a product from a company that tried way to hard and crumbled during the review. So I'm giving you the first bad review in Thoughts Off The Stem history. It's bad. Really Bad. So is our elderly population man. They are getting resentful, self-centered and down right disrespectful. I thought we were supposed to learn from our elders. Not get berated by them. Some of these people really took the "I put my time in" statement to heart. I've noticed an up swing of rude behaviour coming from a generation we're supposed to look up to and quite frankly they should know better. Hope you Enjoy the Sesh! Seshisode 130 This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, Tyler and I continue testing the THCV pre rolls, keep taking turns flipping the Stundenglass and we try out a new product. The Pulsar DL 510 vape battery that looks like a Pipe. Between tokes and clouds we talk about the origin of humanity, how the earth was potentially populated and what the big bang may have really been. University was an awesome time and it really does allow people to explore their sexuality, personality and ambitions. maybe just don't wear that see through top to the pot shop. | THCV TV! - Seshisode 129 | 09 Feb 2024 | 00:51:52
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem we try out smokeable THCV. We've tried it in gummies and it gave us the giggles. So we're super excited to try out the Trailblazers THCV pre rolls. Buckle up, it's quite the ride. Reviewing THCV in these pre rolls took us through a wide variety of topics. I don't know if you'll laugh, but we sure did. Our far reaching discussion covers people with high IQ's born in to bad circumstance and how that effects their ability to be highly successful. Whether or not religion is spirituality and how much a roll energy and the universe play in to our destiny and what it's like to get older. HINT... Your eye sight goes first. Some how we manage to navigate the conversation and bring it home with a review of the THCV pre rolls, as well as a few other strains and products we thought were worth mentioning. | It Might be a Road to Nowhere or It Might be Really Profound! - Seshisode 128 | 02 Feb 2024 | 00:53:29
Seshisode 128 This week on Thoughts Off The Stem you get to experience the Justin and the Tyler in all their stoned glory. We had shot this right after another seshisode so it's basically a double sesh! We had big plans for this sesh but alot of concentrates in a short amount of time put us in a completely different direction. The one thing I can say is that you get a real solid understanding of how budtenders really view their interactions with customers. It's basically a window behind the scenes of the cannabis retail industry. After talking smack about some of these scenarios. The weed sets in and we do our best to keep it together. Spoiler alert!! I'm not so sure it worked. We don't smoke weed at work but we decided to talk about what strains we would smoke if we did. It takes a few attempts and a few conversational detours but eventually we list our go to day time strains. Then we try to recap what we'd had over the course of the day and that proves to be a challenge in itself, but we do get there. Mostly this sesh is a sesh. So if you are looking for someone to sesh with because your circle regulars can't. You can definitely spark up and join us for some fun, some nonsense and a slight glimps of potential. | The Customer is NOT always Right! | 26 Jan 2024 | 00:52:27
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem we're starting the show off with more flips of the Stundenglass and a dab of Alaskan TF by Vortex. Apparently the relaxation and clearity of this concentrate motivated me to start strong with a rant about age gates, IDing customers and the attitudes of men in my generation and older. Honestly they whine like babies over having to produce a piece of plastic upon entry to the shop. Even thought it's the law they still pick fights with college kids who are just trying to work in an industry they enjoy. This kind of attitude is the reason that the generations after us are having a harder time succeeding. Instead of understanding the rules and regulations these dudes and dudettes think they are the centre of the universe and are willing to cause a colloge kid to go further into debt by potentially being fined. These middle aged door knobs who think the orld revolves around them should take a second and think about why the process is the way the process is. The customer is not always right! Especially when they decide to berate retail employees based on regulations and laws that are out of their control. Seriously! Society needs an injections of decorum. The older we get the more capable we should be of interacting maturely. I mean , we all have to co-exist right?! | Pink Panties, Rubbing Nuts and Bridgets Brownies! - Seshisode 126 | 19 Jan 2024 | 01:02:41
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem we're having a proper sesh! It's been a while since our last sesh and Tyler and I are going all in with concentrates and a hash infused home roll, that Tyler brought over. You may have also noticed the new intro. Again, a big THANK YOU goes out to Tyler for hooking me up. Since this is the first sesh of the new year, I decided we needed to try out a few concentrates I was able to get my hands on. We're starting the podcast off with a few flips of the Stunden Glass. Fully loaded with Pink Panties by Pistol and Paris, over laying some Alaskan TF by Vortex. It was a great way to start the show. Pink Panties is a 1 g 78% THC diamonds and sauce extract. I found it had a slight sativa lean, with a laid back hybrid vibe. Alaskan TF is straight up sleepy time Indica. Don't worry during the podcast I give the full details of trying Alaskan TF for the first time. In great detail i might add. So you know what you're getting into. Tyler hits us up with a home rolled Cherry AK joint, infused with Carmel's Animal Face hash. Turns out it paired nicely with the concentrates. This sesh was a good one. We told some stories, giggled a lot! Reviewed a variety of weed. Shouted out some of the companies and products we think are note worthy. Basically this podcast was a true sesh! We had a great time recording this episode of the podcast and hope that you enjoy it just as much! | Puppies, Parenting and Weed Nuts! - Seshisode 125 | 09 Dec 2023 | 00:45:03
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem. I bought a puppy for the kids for Christmas. I know it's a little early but you know when things just work out and it seems like fate? Well that was kinda the deal with this. I'd been looking for a dog since the spring and dealt with a few scammers. Took a break from looking then a couple weeks a go the kids started pouring on "we want a puppy" talk. So I started looking again and lucked out. Now we're the proud owners of an American Bully puppy. Since I'm on this new adventure that is dog ownership, I figured I should find out what would happen if the dog was to get in to my stash. 'Cause let's be honest. I have a lot of weed in the house. It's kinda my job to know what the deal is, ya know?! Now that I know I figured I'd let you know what happens if your doggo gets into your stash-o. Lately in my attempt to quit smoking cigarettes I've started to eat more edibles but I get tired of gummies, there just isn't enough to satisfy my fat guy hunger. I always feel shorted. Recently I was introduced to some infused snacks better suited for my taste buds. I'll give you a hint... It's perfect for a party or a football game. Honestly these infused treats are some of the best I've come across, full of flavour and they come in a perfect single serving. All though the potency is low (no their fault by the way. It's the government regulations) they help maintain your buzz, As always I hope you enjoy the sesh! #podcast #puppies #lifestyle #fictionpodcast #entertainment #comedy #humor #cannabispodcast #comedypodcast #podcast #indiepodcast #pets #dogowner #doglover #newpuppypodcast #thoughtsoffthestem
| I get to Eat Beef Jerky and Get high? Who's NOT down for that?! - Seshisode 124 | 24 Nov 2023 | 01:07:53 | |
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, Tyler joins me again for another one of our super awesome cloud filled seshisodes. Starting off the show with some CBG drinks and a hit of Msiku's Frozen Lemons in the Stundenglass we cover a few different topics but mostly spend the time remembering what we were talking about and having all the laughs possible. Tyler cleared the air from a previous sesh and clarified what he forgot he was going to say on the sesh with Ewa and Nathan. He also wanted to know what you would do if you were heavily under the influence and then something paranormal happened? Would you freak out? We tried some new gummies infused with THCV and CBC. It took the conversation in all kinds of different directions. We also had the chance to review the HHH from BC Bud CO. We're pretty sure it was a hybrid. Then we picked a blunt from my now, extensive collection and discussed how awesome it would be to have Arnold Schwarzenegger as a weed coach. Whether or not apparitions need to be actual matter in order to throw plates and how focused THCV makes you feel. As always we had a great time doing this one and we hope you Enjoy the Sesh! | Quit Smoking And Change Your Life! - Seshisode 123 | 17 Nov 2023 | 00:57:33
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem I'm talking about quitting smoking cigarettes. I have tried for years to stop smoking. The last couple months I actually have a handle on it and haven't had a cigarette in over 40 days now. In this sesh I detail what it was like to quit, how I prepared to quit, some tips I used to quit cigarettes and some of the tools I used to prepare myself for success. When you're quitting smoking cigarettes, although it's a physical addiction you must prepare mentally for the journey you're about to take. Yes it's a journey. Think of it like Zelda's quest. You get really excited about starting out, then quickly get frustrated over the lack of progress, but ultimately you keep going because you want to see where the story takes you. I found a method for me that seems to be working really well. Hopefully after listening or watching the sesh these tips and tools can help you smoking cigarettes and start you on your tobacco less journey. I would like to say that I'm not putting this out there because I'm on some self righteous kick. I'm just offer some advice and empathy to those that are trying to make this monumental change. It's tough enough to go through this transition on your own. Hopefully this will help those people work their way through the ups and downs of the first few days and weeks of quitting cigarettes. I also know it's been a short time since I quit. Some people are going to be skeptical I know. I can tell you this is the umpteenth time I've tried to quit and this time is different. I don't have any urges for a cigarette nor do I think about it. I'm perfectly content without my little cigarette buddies. This sesh is a bit long winded but I really wanted to make sure I did a thorough job of explaining myself even if I did over explain a little bit. I hope you enjoy the sesh and if you are quitting I hope something in here helps you achieve your goal of removing cigarettes from your life. | No you can't Fight a Wolf with your Bare Hands! - Seshisode 122 | 11 Nov 2023 | 00:35:09
This weeks Thoughts Off The Stem are infused with Nugz Pheno Hunter Pixie Stikz a 27% THC Sativa. For the Prer-Roll I'm smoking the Recliner, Movie Night hash infused blunt, a 29% THC hybrid. These were supposed to help me focus. They did not. They basically turned me into one giant brain fart for the show.Since I was all on my high horse about road rage last Sesh. It got me thinking about all the times us dudes get all agro and like to profess our our ability to kick butt and fight man hunting animals. That's right some times our bravado has us thinking we are the baddest people on the planet. This got me thinking about the time I was told about one individuals confidence in their capabilities to fight a wolf with his bare hands. That's right they thought they could take a wolf. They barely went outside yet killing a wold was easier than making Kraft Dinner in their mind.Let's just set the record straight. You're not killing a wolf with your bare hands. However the topic of this podcast is a list of people who did manage to fight off animals that tried to kill them.Yup my obsession with life continues. These people are definitely tougher than me. I'm pretty sure they are tougher than you and you won't believe the stuff they did to escape the jaws of some of the most ferocious animals on the planet. We've got a guy who bit a python, a woman who fought off a tiger with garden tools, a woman who saved her husband from a mountain lion with a ball point pen, a taxidermist who stangled a cougar and guy who beat up a tiger with his bike. There's a few more on the list but you get the point. We can't be to sure about how tough we really are until we meet that kind of adversity.Since we are discussing a train wreck mindset and reading stories of insanely tough individuals. I thought it would be fitting to tell you a little bit about how this seshisode came to be. It was full of adversity and problems. Took me 5 attempts to record and a mess of a show to sift through to find the better points I made. So hopefully my mistakes and the issues I encountered in creating this sesh give you a little something relatable. I know it's not on the level of being half way down a sharks throat and stabbing your way out, but it's adversity none the less. I hope I made something out of nothing on this one and that you ultimately enjoy the sesh!Don't forget to like the podcast, subscribe to the channel and check out Tots420.com
| Idiots, Road Rage and a Blunt! - Seshisode 121 | 04 Nov 2023 | 01:01:59 | |
This weeks thoughts off the stem are infused with a bong hit full of 5 Loco from General Admission and Snoop Dogg's Lodi Dodi OG Blunt. I think I said the blunt was a sativa during the sesh it is not it's a Hybrid Leaning Indica. The 5 Loco is actually an infused pre-roll I disassembled and put in the bong. It was super tasty and great hit to start the show.
Let's discuss the city planners of Guelph and their inability to schedule construction and road maintenance without pushing a city into chaos. It's turned any commute through Guelph in to a mad max style race to survive. The energy in the city is thick with anxiety, aggression and malice. It's got everyone thinking they are Jason Statham in the Transporter.
I'm not above admitting that I'm all amped up to and as much as I'm willing to take responsability for my idiocy, I think the city has a little responsibility to accept on this too. They are effectively driving people insane through their inability to complete projects and maintain some semblance of order. They've inadvertently turned our roads in to race tracks occupied by death race drivers and crash test dummies.
Having said all that. Let's not forget we're all in the same situation and driving like animals isn't going to get us anywhere safely or in one piece. So let's all just crank some Motown and act like we love each other.
Besides it's way more fun to relax with a blunt rather than try to eat your dinner through a straw. If you're a follower of the podcast you know I love a good blunt and these Lodi Dodi OG blunts by Dogg Lbs (Snoop Dogg's weed) are quickly becoming one of my top picks. Try it out if you get the chance I highly recommend it.
I hope you enjoy the rant/Sesh!

| Weed Makes You Gay, Lazy and Stupid! - Seshisode 120 | 27 Oct 2023 | 00:53:21 | |
This weeks Thoughts Off The Stem, infused with a few shots of 1800 Agave Tequila and Pheno Hunter Pixie Sticks, a 27% thc Sativa by Nugz for the pre-roll and bowl.
I'm also trying out a new toy! The Divinci Artiq. A vape battery that conceals your cartridge in the casing. That way they never know what your smoking.
Did you know marijuana makes you gay? Yup there's a resurgence of this backwards way of thinking.
Granted alot of cannabis accessories are fallic in design, tasting the devils lettuce isn't going to get you tossing your buddy Frank's salad. If you're thinking about the D when your blazing, you probably want the D when your not. It's not the weed.
They also say weed makes you lazy. The "lazy" most people associate with marijuana use is a personality trait in my opinion. If you're lazy, you're lazy. The weed just makes you ok with it. Not everyone smokes, eats Cheeto's, watches movies or plays video games all day.
You know how people say "It's not you, it's me" when they want to end a relationship?
Well in this case it's you.
Not the weed.

| Lizard OverLords, , Spy Sharks and Killer Dolphins! - Seshisode 119 | 20 Oct 2023 | 00:42:49 | |
This week's thoughts off the stem are inspired by mystery weed. It's a home grown sample I was given by a co-worker. It was surprisingly nice. I have no idea what the thc content was. Maybe low 20's. It might have been an indica, but it definitely hyped me up so maybe hybrid? I'm not sure. I can tell you it was a nice dense nug that had a sweeter flavour. It was trimmed well and smoked smooth. I ended up smoking that in the bong, the whole episode. A side from home grown I'm also highlighting a new accessory I picked up. The Davinci Artiq. It's a vape battery for your 510 cartridge. It's a pretty awesome little vaporizer. The cart actually goes in the battery casing for discrete puffage. I decided use my Jungle Fruit vape cart by Explore and show you folks how this dealy works. It's super compact, pulls nice clouds, lasts a long time and delivers great flavour. We all like a good conspiracy theory right? Well light up something fun and lets dive into some of the dumber conspiracy theories I could find. Everything from lizard overlords, to alien redheads and satanic rituals performed with buckets of ice. These could possibly be the silliest theories out there. This rabbit hole of conspiracies lead down a path to weaponized animals. I think there needs to be more discussion about this. I'm not a social justice warrior by any stretch, nor am I going to hop a dingy with peta to try and stop a whaling ship. However I do think that encorporating animals into our defensive insanity is not a good move. There really shouldn't be a need to have animals do our bidding. We should be able to get along, have mutual respect for one another and maintain mutually respectful civil relationships, in an effort to create a positively unified civilization. | Cake Farts, Twerking and getting Caught Jerking Off! - Seshisode 118 | 14 Oct 2023 | 00:41:23
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem I'm opening the show with a hit of Nugz Pheno Hunter a sativa at 27.5% thc, with a terp profile of 2.3%. This weeks thoughts revolve around an instagram post I found. A wife was upset because she caught her man taking care of himself to a video that involved cake farts and twerking. She took her anger out on the content creator, The question I have is, shouldn't she be taking out her anger on her partner? I get you're upset, but really does the content creator have any say over what their viewers do with their content. Not really. The next question I have is, have you ever heard of cake farts? Dude, that stuff is hillarious! Girls farting into cakes is all the giggles. It's also a fettish. Didn't realize that! We all have our fetishes though. And that's the direction this episode took. It started in a pretty common discussion about the ins and outs of togetherness. How it ended up in the gutter is beyond me. I guess you'll just have to join the sesh and enjoy the ride. | Stundenglass, Concentrates and a Flip A Thon - Seshisode 117 | 06 Oct 2023 | 00:49:05
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, I have a new toy! The Stundenglass! Guess what I'm doing? That's right podcasting while attempting as many flips as possible, while reviewing a variety of concentrates. Starting off the show with Msiku's Frozen Lemons shatter. Moving on to Nugz Terple Hash Rosin, mixed with a little Galactic Runtz by Tribal, and finally rounded out with a Cold Cured Rosin by Astro Labs. While we flip the stundenglass and review these concentrates, lets discuss the underlying competitive nature of stoners. For what ever reason we seem to think that each one of us is the authority on what makes for a quality plant. So if you're just getting started in concentrates and what to know what the fuss is all about. I'm pretty sure this episode will give you a solid window in to the consumption of more potent forms of marijuana. I'f you're seasoned on the use of concentrated cannabis, hopefully this sesh gives you some new options for your next pick up. If flavor and high is what you're looking for I highly recommend Nugz Fresh Frozen Hash Rosin Pheno number 25. | Regulations, Smoking on a Budget and Middle Aged Men! - Seshisode 116 | 29 Sep 2023 | 00:53:01
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem we're smoking Sour OG by Broken Coast and amazing sativa, coming in at 22%.
Lets talk about the AGCO and the regulations that retail cannabis stores need to follow in order to stay compliant. It all starts with an ID check at the door and you'd be surprised at how many middle aged men think they don't apply to the rules. It's really just an undeserved sense of self importance really.
Age gates suck, we get it. We don't want it to be there either but we also don't want to pay the fine that's associated with some one trying to skirt the rules. So keep in mind, the next time you decide to duck the line, you're in a good position to be the reason for some college kid to have a fine levied against him/her because you figured you are more important that a quick "hi how you doin?" That's right you could be costing some poor kid $5000 - $250,000 in fines that quite frankly no one should pay because of your self-righteousness.
A side from the regulations, budgeting seems to be a big issues for a lot of users. Instead of visiting your local shop every morning or every day, spend a little more and make it last a little longer. Bargain product is only that. A bargain. Buying the same pre roll every day has you missing out on the greatness that is available to you. Even on a budget you can get a variety of quality products. Mixing and matching is a great way to make your funds stretch a little farther.
So in this sesh I'm giving you a couple tips and ways you can keep a variety of product, stay lifted and only spend what you want to spend. Side note: A big portion of this advice involves self control.
I hope you enjoy the stories, the insight, the budgetary tips and of course the Sesh!

| Aliens in Congress and the Intergalactic Highway! - Seshisode 115 | 22 Sep 2023 | 00:45:21 | |
This sesh we are going intergalactic. Lets talk about the alien mummies they found down in Mexico, while I flip this stunden glass full of galactic runtz and Terple by Tribal and Nugz. These are both intense and delicious concentrates. When you add them together you get a whole different view of the world. It's kinda like being shot in to outer space. So with that in mind I figured it would be fun to talk about the Aliens found in Mexico. Keep in mind they are over 1000 years old and mummified, so lets talk about whether or not they are real. Also, how do we know that what we think aliens look like, is what aliens actually look like? Seriously! We can only know what we know and we draw from reference. So who decided that's what these things really look like? Are we totally sure they are aggressive as well? Maybe they were trying to help and our own human emotions got in the way and we got scared. Maybe aliens are visiting to observe and help. Even bigger question... How do we know that the grey and green aliens aren't just alien versions of dogs and monkeys? Think about it.l I mean we've done that, sent dogs and monkey's to space. So why wouldn't it be possible that other life forms do the same thing? | Man Up, Get High with your Mom! - Seshisode 114 | 15 Sep 2023 | 00:54:53
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem. I'm smoking some Cookie Cake by Green Seal. The pre-roll is Cherry AK by 1964 and a couple mini blunts by BoonDocks. I hope you're ready for some awesome! It's been a while since I've been around, so let me catch you up. I ate edibles with my mom, while out west. It was awesome. If you get the opportunity, I highly recommend getting high with your mom. As a man, a dad and the go to guy for all things responsible. I learned my lesson in August about trying to be a hero. As much as I don't want my kids to miss out on things, some times the complications out weigh the effort. Way too many people have an undeservedly high expectation of what they deserve without effort. It also seems to me people just say stuff to hear them selves speak and reaffirm their own nerative. Needless to say this one is full of some fun rant stories and of course the awesomeness that was getting high with my mom. It's something I've wanted to do for a while. If you're looking for that fun time giggly feeling. Like the first time you got high. Just add a little CBG to the batch and welcome back your high school perma-smile. | KIND a Summer Fair Adventure! (Part 2) - Seshisode 113 | 22 Jul 2023 | 01:07:54
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem we are joined by Tyler and we are finishing out explaining our Kind experience. This sesh we smoked a couple new things that came to the shop on our last order. A new infused pre roll by Carmel, who we saw at the Kind summer fair. We sipped on some Mollo 10 beer flavoured beverages. Near the end of the sesh we break out a new kind of Mollo 10 as well. Their new Cider. which was not from the Kind summer fair, but in our last delivery. While we work through our Kind goodies. Let us finish the tour of the Kind summer fair. In part one we told you about the layout, how the consumption area worked, what it was like to run into some of the industries top produces, who then took a few moments to let us pick their brains and smoked with us. In this sesh we pick up where we left off. Talking about the longevity of producers who limit their production vs those that over produced in attempt to gain a foothold on the market. Where they are now and who is coming out on top. We never would have thought a story worthy experience would include a bathroom in a speakeasy at summer fair but it did. That's right we also give you a run down of the Kind summer fair. It's ok we make fun. To wrap it all up we sent Anna on a "Where's Waldo" style hunt at the No Future booth. It may have stemmed from Tyler and I being grown children. Or it could have been the extensive list of pre rolls, concentrates and edibles we indulged during the kind summer fair. Either way Anna got us back for our antics and well we all had a great time. Stick around until the end of the sesh that's when we do an accurate count of all the mini sesh's we had throughout the day. Start to finish was 14 hours of steady and consistent ingestion. To clarify we count out all of what we sesh'd with. Then we break it down to how many concentrates and how many joints we had. Tyler and I both agreed we did it right this year. Everything we smoked was a great blend to the environment. Sticking with sativas for the majority of the day and adding in a couple indica's near the end. This allowed us to keep the energy up and a smile on our faces while staying talkative fun and social. The Kind summer fair was a great experience. I hope you enjoy part 2 of our Kind experience.d Enjoy the Sesh! Visit Tots420.com for more Thoughts Off The Stem
| KIND a Summer Fair Adventure! (Part 1) - Seshisode 112 | 15 Jul 2023 | 01:31:41 | |
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem. We went to the KIND summer fair! it was awsome! By we I mean Tyler from the shop and myself of course. Tyler was previously on Seshisode 99. For those who think he might look familiar. Through work we were lucky enough to get a couple tickets for day one. So this sesh we are recapping the adventure that was our journey to KIND. The day was amazing. It was one long smoke sesh, a stoner christmas if you will. There was way too much consumption going on through out the day to list it here. We do a pretty good job of rattling everything off during the sesh. Which means you're gonna get a pretty good list of enjoyable day time smoke you can enjoy in large groups. As we work our way through the sack of free samples we each got. We'll take you on a guided tour of what to expect when attending a cannabis fair. Peppering in a few stories about the goings on and the people we met. Potheads are definitely the most accepting and inclusive groups of fun havers I've ever been around. So being able to sample a bunch of new strains, try some existing but "new to me" strains and share the experience with such a large group of strangers, was amazing. You might say it rekindled my faith in humanity a little bit. Like the best of the best sesh circles, this one's got all the giggles. I hope you enjoy the sesh. | Kactus Kutter, Purple Kush and Grumpy Old Men! - Seshisode 111 | 07 Jul 2023 | 00:49:14
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem I'm reviewing a brand new product. Kactus Kutter! And I'm smoking purple Kush by Versus. An Indica at 22.6% thc. The high is more like a 30. Since i got my hands on two new products I figured why not dedicate this sesh to the ultimate review sesh! This may have been the most geeked out episode of the podcast. What can you do? I love weed. There's bound to be a couple proper review sesh's every know and then. It's like stoner christmas, my favourite strain purple kush and a new toy from the folks at Kactus Kutter. Still can't believe they came through. What is Kactus Kutter you ask? It's a portable, wireless, rechargeable grinder, with a unidirectional sword style grinding mechanism. It features a static free collection compartment, which means more of what you want gets in the bowl. Since there's less mess clean up is quick and easy. Grinding's a b*tch! Don't do it. Let Kactus Kutter do it. It's a Tsunami of swards ninja-fying you nugs! Elevate you grinding game and your sesh with Kactus kutter! | Phobias, Heightened Senses and Driving High! - Seshisode 110 | 09 Jun 2023 | 00:54:48
This week on Seshisode 110 - Phobias, Heightened Senses and Driving while High! I'm smoking... Mystery weed! That's right. I emptied out my stash jar. The only thing I can tell you is, it is no less than 24% Thc. Most likely a Hybrid or Indica and it literally tastes like a greenhouse smells. The first time I smoked weed I knew my senses would be heightened, but I didn't realize I would be able to see my heart beat in my shirt. So I thought it would be fun to discuss some of the weirder phobias people suffer from. From around the internet I have gathered 17 of the weirdest phobias. You might be afraid of the unknown, but can you imagine being afraid of poetry? How about objects to your right? What about a chin? Imagine for a second you're afraid of opening your eyes. How about that for terror? Since we're talking about fear and potentially scary scenarios. This weeks weed facts are about, whether or not there has been a rise in the statistics of people caught driving under the influence of cannabis in Canada. I hope you enjoy the sesh! | Parenting, Cannabis and a Smoke Buddy! - Seshisode 109 | 04 Jun 2023 | 00:51:55
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem podcast I'm talking about being a cannabis infused parent on Seshisode 108 - Parenting, Cannabis and a Smoke Buddy! Starting the show with a bong hit of Nugz Smallz Indica Pheno number 23. It was about 23% thc. I also rolled up a few pre rolls of the same. Why? because I am working through my stash jar and these few nugs needed a good smoking. Like I was saying, this week I'm taking on the topic of cannabis infused parenting. A lot of people have a poor view of those who partake in cannabis and raise children. Since my whole existence, at this point, revolves around weed, the very least I can do is pass along some of the things I've noticed and learned in my parenting journey. I stick to the adage that it's better to be honest then hide things from people. So I am very open and honest with my kids when discussing anything. I also try my best to preserve their innocence. However their life circumstances have give them incite into things that kids might not be exposed to on a regular basis. So again I have had to be very available in the topics I am willing to discuss with them. I do my best to protect them and offer them some insight into how the world really works. It's a fine line I tell ya. Since we're discussing the things most important to us. I thought it would be a good lead in to the weed facts this week. Which are about cannabis and your pets. We care deeply about our pets, after all they are family. So we want to care for them the best way we can. This has lead people to see if cannabis can help their furry family members, as it dose our not so furry ones. No matter what you decide to do with your pets, I want to make it clear that, in no way am I telling you, you should give your pets cannabis products. We are just discussing an article that discussed some research findings under controlled testing with animals and the ingesting of THC and CBD. I recommend that you discuss any thoughts you have with your vet. Having said that, I thought this article was a good starting point with some basic starting information about giving your pet cannabis products. Visit Tots420.com for the full article. | Super Pumped and Mentally Deflated! - Seshisode 108 | 26 May 2023 | 00:42:31
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem I'm smoking Gorilla Berry by Green Seal, a 27% THC indica in the bong. The pre roll is Jungle Cake by MTL cannabis, a 29% THC sativa.
I got a couple negative comments attacking my channel and of course my happy time, fun time. So something had to be done. Also I get petty so I responded to their comments and surprisingly never heard back.
Then I ranted about it on the podcast and got a little fired up. What can I say?
Because these two meat heads decided to attack me I decided, retaliation was the only way. This sesh I decided to blow off some steam and let them have it. So I did my research and found out what these dudes were all about.
You'll also have to excuse the spelling mistakes in my responses to them. That's right, I got petty enough to post their comments and my response during the sesh. Just keep in mind I had just gotten home, smoked a joint and was checking the numbers on a few videos, when bam! It be came door knob comment time. My responses absolutely had an altered of capability. I think I got them good though. Hopefully these stories also provide you some entertainment.
I hope you enjoy the sesh, the rant and don't forge to SUBSCRIBE to the channel and visit Tots420.com

| Weird ways to Die, CHS and a 25ft Wave of Molasses! - Seshisode 107 | 12 May 2023 | 00:42:09 | |
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, Seshisode 107 - Death by Nets Pot, Canabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome and a 25 ft Wave of Molasses, we're taking a walk through my morbid sense of humour.
As if we don't have enough to worry about with covid, heart disease, cancer and all the other ailments that might lead to our demise. We also have to worry about some every day actions that may take us out. Sure pop machines could fall on us if we get a little to aggressive when our purchase gets stuck. Laughter doesn't always prove to be the best medicine. Constipation could be more deadly than just being blocked up, grumpy and uncomfortable. Especially if you pour really baring down when dropping off your daily deposit. Before you use that neti pot you better be sure it's not a vessel for a brain eating amoeba. Now that the global AI game is ramping up. We also need to take heed of past interactions with robots or at least the types of machinery controlled by them. The last thing you want is to be turned in to human soup when they rise up and try to take over their constrictive creators.
As a special mention I also found quite the tale of Molasses in Boston, the devastation a syrupy goo can unleash on a city is amazing to me. So stick around until the end when we discuss a 25ft wave of molasses that did it's best to take over a city.
Since we are talking about weird and seemingly avoidable ways to die. I thought it would be a good idea to have a look at CHS, Canabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome in this weeks weed facts. It affects a small amount of marijuana users and is primarily noticed in long term daily use consumers. However it seems to becoming more prevalent as weed becomes more acceptable and accessible. If you're feeling any of the symptoms mentioned in this sesh it would definitely be in your best interest to give your doctor a shout.
This sesh Was a good time. A few fun facts, a couple of the wall stories and few more ways to find paranoia in the world we live. Like we need more ways to freak out right? Well this week that's what we're doing. Adding a little humour to the paranoia so that it doesn't seem all that over whelming.
I hope you have a great weekend and enjoy the Sesh!

| TikTok, Mental Health and Role Models! - Seshisode 106 | 06 May 2023 | 00:35:26 | |
This week on Thoughts off the Stem I'm ranting about TikTok, Mental health and Role Models. As a girl dad I feel like they are getting the short end of the stick and we as a society need to step our game up. To start the show/rant I'm smoking Cookie Cake by Green Seal a 33.8% Sativa. To follow up and mellow out a t bit after blowing a ton of hot air. I'm smoking a home roll of Sour and Citrus from General Admission, another Sativa at 24%. So basically all the energy in this sesh. Now like I was saying... This sesh is a rant. I'm spouting off on a few beliefs I have. As well as some hopes and observations i have for, and made of, this next generation. I had an experience on TikTok that urked me so much it got me thinking about the state of role models. Especially for my daughters. As much as I think girls need better role models in the media. We all need to be better role models for those who succeed us. There is and has been a clear issue with logic and common sense on mass in the past few years. If we keep heading in this direction we are definitely going to end up like the movie Idiocracy. We are acting like idiots. Honestly when has it ever been acceptable to have a conversation with some one while taking off your plants! Then taking that video and putting it on the internet for attention. Seriously this isn't regular. Hope you enjoy the sesh/rant! | Weird Things People Stuck up their Butts, Concentrates and a Yocan Pillar Review! - Seshisode 105 | 28 Apr 2023 | 00:52:58
On this episode of Thoughts Off The Stem, I'm smoking concentrates. Starting the show off with a couple hits of Sour Green Mango Live Rosin, by EarthWolf Farms. It's a Sativa and comes in at 59% THC. Mid sesh I got a hankering for Wagners Blue Lime Pie Diamonds. It's a Hybrid coming in at 82% THC and it amped me up. Not only am I reviewing these wonderful concentrates, but I also took some time to Review some accessories including, the L'il Dipper dab straw and the Yocan Pillar. It's all the flavour and all the highs in easy to use compact smoking accessories. A special shout out to Msiku Frozen Lemon Shatter, which I didn't get to try this sesh, but thought I should mention as I had mentioned it in the show. It's definitely worth the try. It's a Sativa, coming in at 84.1% THC, full of flavour and one of the more social highs I have experienced. Especially in a concentrate. People never cease to amaze me. As high as I get off concentrates I can confirm there has never been a time when my reality has been altered enough to pose the question... Hey! I wonder if this fish bowl will fit up my butthole? That was not the case for the feature of this Seshisode. In fact it's quite the opposite. The people featured in this sesh, posed similar questions then followed through with some action. Unfortunately for them those actions led them strait into the emergency room then on to the X-ray lab and most likely laid out on an operating table in order to reclaim the objects logged in their holiest of holies. Of course I have many questions about the thought process that proceeds the activities that lead to such insertions. Join me as we discuss the weirdest things people have stuck up their butts! Since we are talking about things reclaimed from human suitcases. I thought it would be fitting that we discuss how to reclaim previously used concentrates. The removal of small bits of debris for future use is always exciting even if it is a little messy. Retrieving concentrate reclaim, however, is way more worth while than trying to pry a beer bottle out of a butthole with a wire hanger. So, in this weeks Weed Facts I'm giving you a brief over view of what reclaim is and Nine steps to removing reclaim from your concentrate accessories. I had a blast recording this sesh. I hope you have a blast watching or listening. I also hope that some of the accessories, products and information helps you find new and exciting things to add to your next smoke sesh. | Florida Man, Bubble Hash and a Somke Sesh! - Seshisode 104 | 14 Apr 2023 | 00:43:47
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem, I'm talking about Florida man. With a little weed facts interlude about Bubble Hash. Starting the smoke sesh off with a bong hit packed with Cuban Linx from Tribal at 27% Thc. It's mixed with a 15% CBG flower by Penekia. In the joint this week I have the same mix of Cuban Linx and CBG flower mixed with a nice little bubble has snake running down the centre. This sesh is dedicated to the weirdest Florida Man snippets I could find around the internet. In the past few episodes I had been exploring weird laws from around the world. During that research I found an abundance of laws that pertained to Florida and the many different ways people have interacted with local wild life. So light something up because some of these people are truly out to lunch when it comes to operating in society. Since I added a little bubble hash to my roll this week, I thought I would give you a little run down of how bubble hash made and how it differs from other forms of the concentrate. I also thought it fit nicely since last week I discussed Temple balls. If you enjoy a nice hash high or just want to know more about it, this weeks weed facts should help you out. As I am always trying to elevate my game. This week I have added a few goodies to the episode in order create a little more engagement and entertainment to the podcast. So I hope you enjoy the new PinP feature where you can actually see all the things I'm talking about through out the podcast. | Dude for Real?! The funniest laws from around the world (Part 2) - Seshisode 103 | 08 Apr 2023 | 00:48:11
Dude for Real?! The funniest laws around the world, part two.
This week on Thoughts Off The Stem I'm smoking Sour and Citrus, Lemon Berry Crunch by General Admission. It's a 24% THC sativa in the bong, it's a really nice social high.
For the roll this week I decided to roll my own. It's a mix, an infusion if you will. The flower is more of Sour and Citrus with a snake off the Lemon Drop Temple Ball by Trippy Hippy. It's 49% THC with a balance of CBD. The high felt like a Hybrid.
Just to round out the high a little. I took a few puffs from the Yocan Evolve Plus, one of my concentrate pens. In it was a mix of Blue Lime Pie Diamonds by Wagners. They come in at 82% THC with a Hybrid high. Mixed in with it was a little piece of the Temple ball. It's was super tasty and a full body smoke. I highly recommend the mix.
Dude for real this is part two of weird laws from around the world. The goofiness of these laws really lends to the giggly high the was brought on by these strains.
So make sure you don't molest your cars, eat sardines before boning, let your donkeys sleep in your bathtub after 7pm, throw snow balls in Calgary, drive bicycles drunk or swear in front of dead people. You never know where a weird law might be lurking. So next time your traveling the world try to be on your best behaviour and maybe don't let your freak flag fly.
This weeks weed facts are about Temple Balls. These marble like nuggets of resin hash are the original concentrate. So since I'm doing my best to smoke through my stash, I figured why not give you a run down of what a Temple Ball is.
Hope you enjoy the Sesh!

| Dude For Real?! (Part 1) - Seshisode 102 | 31 Mar 2023 | 00:37:15 | |
This Seshisode of Thoughts Off The Stem, I'm trying something a little different. We're tripping around the world and taking a look at some of the more ridiculous laws I could find. To do that properly I need a mash up of sativa's to keep me lifted and inquisitive.
In the bong I've got a mix of Jealousy from Black Market at 23% THC, I think, and some Cuban Linx from Tribal (Not Nugz, like I say at the beginning of the podcast) at 27% THC.
The pre-roll is THC-a infused, it's called Moon Landing from Green Seal at 31% THC. I know, I know. My dedication to Green Seal is getting annoying. Don't worry I'm switching it up next sesh.
For a quick hit mid smoke sesh I take a few puffs from the Journey pipe filled with the Lemon Drop Temple Ball (resin infused hash) from Trippy Hippy at 49%. The variety made up a pretty sweet high man.
Have you ever looked up dumb stuff on the internet? Of course you have! So do I. I was smoking a bowl one day and found myself looking up funny laws from around the world. Well it's kind of around the world. Most of the laws come from the USA, Canada, Britain and Australia. I picked the 50 funniest laws in an effort to inform people of the pending consequences from seemingly innocent actions (in most cases).
So next time think twice before you make a nasty face at a dog and take note of where you're at. It might come with some jail time. Definitely don't imitate an animal in Miami, it's totally against the law. Poor furries. Don't tie alligators to a fire hydrant in Michigan, it comes with a fine. Speaking of fire hydrants. If you're a woman in a burning building, there's one state you better be clothed in when the fire fighters show up. Other wise you could end up being kindling.
Those are just a few of the 50 funniest laws I've found around the internet. This sesh is part one of two. So pack a bowl, roll a joint, spark your blunt and lets get in to the first 25 funny laws from around the world.
Dude for Real! I hope you enjoy the Sesh!
