Watch My Chops is a show we know nothing about. Made in France, dubbed in England, Broadcast in Australia... there are so many questions about this mysterious cartoon and we have not answered them.

All we can say for sure is that this is the fourth show we have covered featuring our absolute boy Keith Wickham. We love him, and we cannot wait to discuss him again which we definitely will.

The 60s are calling on the Alan Garner phone and it's finally the decade of the teenager! It's what we like to call an Els-indulgent episode, and these as you know, tend to be long (sorry).

What you are about to hear is a spirited 2.5 hour long discussion of a landmark piece of children's media.

The Owl Service is a soaringly romantic 1969 drama based on the 1967 book of the same name. It grapples with heady themes such as social class, generational trauma, jealousy, and betrayal. Many felt at the time that this psychosexual retelling of a Welsh folk-tale, playing itself out between three adolescents, was too adult for a child audience. It probably is, and that is one of the many reasons we love it.

We're wrapping up season 5, and WHAT a season we've all had!

We've decided to end on everyone's favourite stop-motion sheep, everyone's favourite stop-motion production company, and everyone's favourite Vic Reeves-performed theme song. Shaun the Sheep was a surprisingly emotional fare. Unsurprising was the amount we laughed during the research (binge-watching) period for this ridiculous and wonderful show.

Other discussions include the oppressive UK heat we're all currently working under and Elsie's strange taste in perfume.

We also spent some time reflecting on the madness of the last few months. We recorded this episode just after attending the International Women's Podcast Awards, and we know that this would not have been possible without our amazing listeners. After alluding to it in many other episodes, Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po are FINALLY getting almost two hours (sorry) to themselves.

Maybe the most globally well-known of Ragdoll Productions' productions, this show is the King of all under-5s entertainment. We really hope that we have done justice to this ground-breaking piece of media - and maybe now, we'll never have to talk about it ever again.

We reference the documentary Big Hug! The Story of the Teletubbies a lot in this episode, and we really recommend that you give it a watch to properly appreciate the amazing work of the team behind this show.

Our first ever live recorded episode, courtesy of the Cheerful Earful comedy podcast festival!

In this very special episode, we each take a piece of media that scared us as children and unleash it on a live audience.

This was SUCH a fun day, and we are so incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to see us! This was something of an experiment, as we have never done anything like this before, and you all made the experience so fun, warm, and welcoming. We hope to perform again as soon as we are allowed to.

Stupid dawg!

We've decided to continue our spooky October episodes with a childhood trauma machine from across the pond. That's right, it's Cartoon Network time again! And because Meg and Elsie were brought up as Freeview purists, we have graciously allowed Laura to lead this episode.

We won't lie to you - Courage the Cowardly Dog was straight up terrifying and we need to talk about it. If you have any repressed memories around watching daytime TV while off school sick, prepare to relive them.

Described as "inappropriately" scary, this 1976 drama is considered to be a landmark in quality children's drama. And to be honest, it is.

British film was in the middle of a psychedelic folk-horror experiment, and it somehow managed to trickle down to ITV children's broadcasting. This is the result; a generation of traumatised adults!

We'll be discussing atonal caterwauling, received pronunciation, the burning sexual chemistry between Veronica Strong and Gareth Thomas, and why people seem to hate Morris dancing.

VICTOR! Are you still alive???

We were going to cover The Fluffy Bunny Show with Sweet Little Granny this week, but unfortunately that time slot was needed urgently.

The Secret Show is something that we are INCREDIBLY fond of, and have been for a very long time. Not only is it one of the funniest shows we have covered, but it also features some of our most beloved characters (looking at you, Ray and Ray's boys <33333).

As it was Elsie's birthday on the day of recording, we fancied something requiring minimal research and maximum fun. It's low on the intellect and high on laughs - what we mean is, this is no Tracy Beaker!

And halfway through, we take a break to argue about which one of us is the coolest - answers on a postcard please.

This one is so niche that were it not for YouTube dot com, we might have brushed it off as a collective false memory.
