Season 42, Episode 14 - How Are We Splitting the $550K & The Endies! | The Challenge Recap02 Nov 202601:17:58

It's time to finish what we started in Bangkok! The Season 42 finale of The Challenge: Cutthroat II is here, and $550,000 is on the line. Two teams, one final, questionable drinking challenges, wilderness bathroom emergencies, and enough exhaustion to make everyone question their life choices.

Orange and Team Blu-ray battle through the final checkpoints, but a 10-mile race, a massive puzzle, and one explosive finish will determine who takes home the money. CT and Bananas are fighting for a victory together, Tori is apparently making enemies faster than she can make friends, and the question of who deserves what gets VERY real when the prize money is finally divided.

And we're not sending off Season 42 without handing out THE ENDIES! Who was the messiest bitch? Biggest flop? Biggest camera whore? Who deserves a callback, and who are we still wondering, “And you are?” We've got awards, receipts, hot takes, and absolutely no shortage of people to drag.

Plus, we discuss the season's biggest moments, the questionable decisions, the unexpected favorites, and all the delicious tea that didn't make it into these notes.

The final is over. The money has been split. The Endies have been awarded. And we have THOUGHTS.

That's a wrap on Season 42. What a fucking ride.

Season 42, Episode 13 - The Final Begins… and So Does the Greed | The Challenge Recap26 Oct 202601:36:49

The Challenge final is here, the prize money is HUGE, and some people are already looking at that $500K like it's sitting in their personal checking account.

As the teams embark on a grueling two-day final, Bananas is busy getting inside Lete's head, captains are eyeing their potential payouts, and the question of who deserves a “fair share” threatens to become just as important as actually winning. Teamwork is supposedly the name of the game—but what happens when everyone has a different idea of what fair means?

Meanwhile, CT lands in the medical tent, puzzles are making everyone question their life choices, a hidden UFC treasure chest adds $25K to the chaos, and suddenly everyone who's been judging someone else's endurance has a very convenient reason to slow down.

Is this a test of physical strength, puzzle-solving, and teamwork—or a two-day exercise in hypocrisy and financial planning?

The final has barely started, and we're already side-eyeing EVERYONE.

Season 42, Episode 12 - “Some of You Are Gonna Regret It” | Lete is Fucking Pissed! | The Challenge Recap19 Oct 202601:31:01

The biggest rig in Challenge history. A team that can't finish a puzzle. A rookie who's officially DONE playing nice. And TJ warning the finalists that some of them are about to regret everything. 😈

Lete has been holding back all season—but after carrying Team Blu-ray in the daily, she's sent into her first-ever elimination. And she's not exactly thrilled about it. Meanwhile, Orange makes some questionable decisions that come back to bite them, Justin's spirit is hanging by a thread, and one competitor's journey ends in a landslide.

We're also diving headfirst into Challenge Reddit, debating whether rookies should have to prove themselves in the sand before earning a spot in the final, and asking the question everyone loves to argue about: how does The Challenge stack up against other reality TV?

The final is officially within reach. But if TJ's warning is anything to go by, making it there might be the easy part.

Lete is unleashed. Justin is out. And regret is on the menu.

Season 42, Episode 11 - Panty Warfare: The Bananas Tea Is SCALDING (Zoomcast) | The Challenge Recap12 Oct 202601:27:12

The season may be over, but the Bananas tea is just getting started—and trust us, you need to hear this.

Meanwhile, Orange is playing chess while Team Blu-ray is out here eating checkers. Bananas launches an undercover operation involving a certain pair of underwear, Tori revives a character nobody asked for, and Will apparently has feelings for Tori that materialized out of thin air. Sure, buddy.

Then the Banana Backpack gets a Cutthroat II rematch. Tori makes a bold move, Anna Leigh discovers that “ant strength” only gets you so far, and CT delivers a life lesson we may or may not be qualified to apply: you gotta break their spirit.

The gossip! The dirty gameplay! The backpack! Let's talk about it.

Season 42, Episode 10 - The Challenge Meets the UFC & $25K On the Line | The Challenge Recap01 Oct 202601:10:44

The Challenge has entered the UFC era.

With The Challenge now under the Paramount umbrella, we're getting a very unexpected crossover—and this week, Trial by Combat brings UFC energy straight to Bangkok.

But first, we've got some serious housekeeping to do. We catch up on everything we apparently forgot to talk about last week, laugh way too much, and revisit Justin's bold claim that he “proved Tori's ass wrong.”

Honey...

CT proved YOUR ass wrong.

Meanwhile, Team Blu-ray is officially an all-women team, and everyone is sharing their “why”—although Lete's “why” seems to mostly be... vibes.

Then TJ shows up at the house.

Usually, that's terrifying.

This time, there's no daily challenge at all.

Instead, the two team captains—Tori for Orange and Adrienne for Blu-ray—are thrown into Trial by Combat, where they'll face mercenaries in two classic Challenge eliminations: Balls In and Pole Wrestle.

And there's serious money on the line.

Each winning captain gets $25,000, but that's not all. Winning their battle also locks them into the final.

So now we're asking the important questions: What happens to that $25K if they win the final? Can a captain keep it? Do they have to share it with their team? And exactly how much power is one person supposed to have?!

We also get UFC-style commentary from Valentina and TJ, which has Wiley wondering if we're witnessing the birth of the Challenge's own version of an MMA broadcast.

Naturally, that leads us into a discussion of the Challenge Mount Rushmore—including which women deserve a spot.

And just when we think we've seen all the surprises this season...

Someone returns who swore they would never come back.

So what happens when The Challenge meets the UFC?

Two captains. Two mercenaries. Two brutal eliminations. $25,000 on the line. And a guaranteed spot in the final.

This is The Challenge: Cutthroat II, and apparently we're fighting now.

Season 42, Episode 9 - Everybody Hates CT Until They Need CT | The Challenge Recap26 Sep 202601:26:54

Two teams remain in The Challenge: Cutthroat II, and suddenly the rules—and the politics—have changed.

With the game narrowing, everyone wants power, but becoming captain comes with a whole new set of consequences. A daily challenge leaves us questioning whether someone was actually trying to win, trying to lose, or playing an even bigger game than we realized.

Meanwhile, CT is somehow both the problem and the solution. His teammates question whether they can trust him, accusations start flying, and Cara finds herself caught in the middle. But when the dust settles, one Challenger who has spent the season talking plenty of shit about CT may discover exactly why you don't count him out.

We're also getting increasingly suspicious of Bananas' strategy, revisiting the eternal question of whether throwing a challenge can actually work, and watching the Orange Team struggle to agree on who they want in the sand.

Then comes an elimination that is absolutely filthy—literally. Heavy boxes, dirt, metal netting, and a puzzle turn this into a battle of strength, endurance, and brains.

And when it's over, the person who needs CT the most might be the last person you'd expect.

Plus, Cara earns a new title, Tori leaves us wondering what exactly she wants from CT, and Justin gives us a line that may have permanently changed the way we think about post-elimination celebrations.

The Challenge Season 42 is getting smaller, the stakes are getting bigger, and apparently everybody hates CT… until they need CT.

Season 42, Episode 8 - Where the Hell Did Everyone Go?! Our 50th Episode! | The Challenge Recap20 Sep 202601:45:14

WE MADE IT TO 50 EPISODES!

And what better way to celebrate than having three Challengers mysteriously disappear from the season?

Leo, Nelson, and Josh have broken The Challenge Code of Conduct and are sent home—but the episode gives us almost NO explanation. Production simply cuts them out of the season, leaving us with a LOT of questions.

So, for our 50th episode of This Ends Your Time On The Challenge, Alicia and Wiley break down what happened, what wasn't explained, and what we initially thought happened based on the stalemate at the end of the previous episode.

Their departures also completely shake up the game. Gray and Blue both need new captains, and Blue has lost both of its male players. The remaining Blue women come up with a strategy to rotate captain duties and attempt a mutiny every other week, potentially giving each of them a shot at captain safety before the final.

And then...

It's time to eat.

Unfortunately, this is our first eating challenge of the season—and it looks absolutely DISGUSTING. We're talking about the nastiest food the Challengers have had to consume, leading us to discuss vegan exemptions, communication vs. physical strength, and one very important question:

How many Challenge fans have emetophobia?

Blue Team pulls out the win, led by Cara Maria and her apparently indestructible stomach, prompting TJ to point out that the team finally won after all their men went home. But how would they have performed if the guys were still there?

We also revisit the season-long money twist, Bananas' infamous decision with Sarah Rice, and whether Production is gaslighting us about how long they've actually been explaining the money-splitting rules.

Then the drama REALLY kicks in.

Cassidy and Adrienne get into money-related drama, Justin continues to have entirely too many opinions about CT, Tori asks whether a captain can nominate themself, and we get our first look at a brand-new elimination format.

We break down the rules, the strategy, who we wanted to win, who we thought would win, and—because this is The Challenge—how those three things don't necessarily line up.

And just when we think we understand the format, Production throws another wrench into the game.

With Blue having no men left and next week's elimination being a men's elimination, TJ announces that Blue and Gray will merge, forcing them to choose yet another captain.

Because apparently 50 episodes wasn't enough chaos.

Three Challengers gone. One disgusting eating challenge. Money drama. A brand-new elimination. Another team shakeup.

And that's how we celebrate 50 episodes of This Ends Your Time On The Challenge.

Season 42, Episode 7 - CT Proves Why He's CT | The Challenge Recap12 Sep 202600:58:43

We're back with another episode of The Challenge: Cutthroat II, and this week starts with Nelly knowing he doesn't have the votes for a mutiny—but that isn't going to stop him from airing his grievances.

Then it's time for Perfect Match, and CT immediately finds himself in the crosshairs. Justin wakes up ready to talk some shit, while CT is already looking gassed. But there's a reason CT keeps telling his team not to burn him out before the puzzle...

Because the Orange Team goes from last place to FIRST.

And once again, CT reminds everyone that his brain might be just as valuable as his muscles.

We also get a tiny cowboy rodeo party, Lete debuts her drag alter ego Oliver Clothesoff, Bananas officially describes himself as an “overgrown man-baby,” and Izzy delivers one of the most unintentionally obvious observations we've ever heard.

Meanwhile, Tori reminds the Orange Team exactly how valuable CT could be in a final, while Nelly and Josh battle over who should become captain. We break down who we'd actually trust with that responsibility—and we're not exactly blown away by Nelly's daily win record.

Elsewhere, Izzy and Leo seem to be each other's consolation prizes, Leo threatens to sabotage his own team (which we explain is an absolutely terrible idea under this season's rules), and Tori attempts to play matchmaker with a blind date prank involving Leo and Will.

It could have been funny.

It wasn't.

But then the game takes a VERY unexpected turn.

Something happens that sends a team leader home, leaving us wondering what this means for the night's elimination. Then someone deliberately causes a stalemate vote, and we're left trying to figure out exactly what the hell happens next.

And just when we're done...

Alicia catches something in next week's preview that could point to something MAJOR.

Is she onto something? You'll have to listen to find out.

CT. Captain drama. Sabotage. Stalemates. Oliver Clothesoff. And a potentially HUGE preview.

Cutthroat II continues to deliver.

Season 42, Episode 6 - Mutiny, Lies, and the Cock Ring Proposal | The Challenge Recap04 Sep 202600:54:35

We're back in Bangkok for another episode of The Challenge: Cutthroat II, and this week we're bringing a very special guest to the couch: Gretchen, Wiley's alter ego, has officially entered the game. And because Wiley turned 30 this week, he's also entered his Dirty Thirty XXX Era.

You're welcome.

This week, we finally get some serious tea on Lete, courtesy of the always-reliable Alicia, as we question just how much of her past experience may have been embellished. Meanwhile, Nelly makes his case for becoming the Blue Team's captain, Cara tries to help him out, and the complicated relationships between Lete and Anna Leigh make the potential captain situation even messier.

Speaking of captains: what exactly are the rules of a mutiny?! If starting a mutiny requires a unanimous vote, does choosing the replacement captain also require unanimity—or is that a simple majority? We need answers!

Meanwhile, Bananas continues planting the seeds of his plan to overthrow Tori, and this week's daily challenge leaves us with one major question:

How the hell does the scoring work?!

We break down our confusion, attempt to make sense of the rules, and ultimately demand that Production give us more information.

Then things get WILD.

Will apparently proposes to Deb with a cock ring, Anna Leigh gets caught in another questionable lie, and we take a look back at the receipts from her previous questionable moments this season. We also revisit Cara's impressive elimination record and discuss whether her reputation as a Challenge legend gives her any advantages in the game.

And because apparently this house doesn't have enough drama, Anna Leigh and Leo stage a breakup for their alleged secret TV affair.

It's another week of The Challenge Season 42, and Cutthroat II is getting increasingly messy.

Mutiny. Lies. Secret affairs. Questionable scoring. Cock rings. Gretchen.

What more could you possibly want?

Season 42, Episode 5 - This Episode Is DIRTY | The Challenge Recap30 Aug 202601:13:24

This episode is DIRTY.

The permanent team captains have arrived, and we're learning exactly what that means for the rest of Cutthroat II. These captains are now permanently safe from elimination, they'll hold the power over their teams, and they'll ultimately have a say in how the money gets divided at the end of the season.

Unless, of course, someone decides to overthrow them.

Bananas has some thoughts on who should hold that power, while Michelle somehow manages to make another intelligent observation about why she doesn't want a woman as her team's captain. Meanwhile, Wiley has a very specific name for this week's daily: Dirty 3-Way Basketball.

The teams are playing both sides, bros are scoring against their own bros, and Nelly is NOT happy about it. Keanu makes a bold public declaration that he'll volunteer for elimination whenever his team loses just to prove himself.

And then there's Sydnee.

We're talking confidence, body-shaming accusations, OnlyFans shade, an injury, a LOT of crying, and some very strong opinions from Wiley and Alicia. Plus, we have to discuss the increasingly blurry line between hooking up, cheating, and what exactly constitutes crossing the line in a Challenge house.

Basically, everyone is making questionable decisions and we're here to judge them.

Then comes an elimination that we absolutely loved—and a result that genuinely surprised us.

Permanent captains. Dirty basketball. Alleged hookups. Betrayals. Tears. And one hell of an elimination.

Cutthroat II is officially getting messy.

Season 42, Episode 4 - Is Polidicking Sex Work? | The Challenge Recap21 Aug 202601:18:45

We're going UNDERWATER in Bangkok—and somehow the real danger isn't drowning. It's the sexual tension.

This week on This Ends Your Time On The Challenge, we're taking issue with the name “Infiltration Dive” because apparently nobody remembers that this challenge was already called Air Pockets on Battle of the Bloodlines. And honestly? Air Pockets is just better.

Cara and Nelson struggle in the water, putting the Blue Team at a serious disadvantage, while Lete proves once again that she may actually be part mermaid. We're also asking the important questions, like: Are they refreshing the air in those underwater pockets beforehand?!

Josh questions whether Cara even wants to be there, leading us into a bigger conversation about whether being a legendary Challenger gives you the privilege to coast on your reputation.

Then things get... horny.

We're talking Pornstar Banana Daiquiris, sexual tension, face-to-face sexting, revenge, and polidicking. Yes, you read that correctly. We need YOUR opinion: Is polidicking sex work?

Meanwhile, Nurys is spiraling over Chris protecting his number one, Michelle somehow says something genuinely smart, and Nurys has some VERY strong feelings about Sydnee.

Oh, and there's an elimination involving strength, endurance, and strategy—but the biggest game-changing moment might come afterward, when the rules change and the new team captains become permanent.

What does that mean for the game? What new mechanics are coming? And is this about to completely change the way Cutthroat II is played?

Air pockets. Airing grievances. And apparently airing out everyone's sex lives.

Welcome to Episode 4.

Season 42, Episode 3 - Keep My Name Out of Your Mouths! | The Challenge Recap14 Aug 202600:36:34

Season 42 is heating up in Bangkok, and this week, Nurys is ready to stir the pot.

The daily challenge may have been a little visually boring, but thankfully, the drama more than makes up for it. The Gray Team finally doesn't win, Keanu knows he's going in, and suddenly everyone has an opinion about who should be sitting in elimination.

And then there's the Adrienne, Josh, and Nurys drama.

Rumors are flying, feelings are getting hurt, and Nurys is NOT interested in being dragged into anybody else's mess. We get some absolutely incredible quotes along the way—including a few that may have permanently altered our perception of the people involved.

Meanwhile, Cassidy is making moves with Chris, teams are making their picks, and Keanu is finding himself at the center of the game. Brad may have just given Wiley all the evidence he needs to start asking a very important question:

Is it too early to put Keanu on the list of the greatest Challengers to never win?

Then we get the elimination—and holy shit.

Keanu. Seven. Brad. One.

Season 42 is only three episodes in, and we're already wondering whether we've got a future Challenge legend on our hands.

Plus: Nurys is a goddess, Josh is apparently a mortal, and Alicia and Wiley have thoughts about all of it.

Cutthroat II is getting messy. And we are absolutely here for it.

Season 42, Episode 2 - Put Your Bikini Over Your Pajamas and Come With Me (Zoomcast) | The Challenge Recap13 Aug 202601:10:35

Season 42 continues in Bangkok, and apparently crying won’t get you off this roof.

This week on This Ends Your Time On The Challenge, we're talking power plays, questionable alliances, mystery boxes, and one VERY creative interpretation of the rules.

Tori and Keanu make a deal that could benefit both of them, while Keanu starts playing aggressively enough that we're already wondering if he's trying to run the game—or run himself straight into trouble.

Meanwhile, Lette exfoliating her legs in the pool gives us Exhibit A for why Alicia does NOT swim in public water. We also get a little more insight into Lette's relationship with her WWE persona, and Wiley is starting to wonder whether the person she left behind in wrestling is actually as far behind her as she thinks.

Then comes this week's daily challenge: players have to identify a mystery teammate based entirely on TJ's questions. Orange Team finds a loophole that seems like a brilliant strategy to us... until they discover that apparently being technically correct and following the rules are two different things.

And then there's the height situation.

Cara is having a VERY difficult time with the challenge, Blue Team has some noise-related problems, and suddenly we're watching a South Park sudden-death showdown between two team captains. We're also asking some serious questions about whether Tori might have intentionally thrown it.

Add in Adrienne threatening to throw a future challenge, an elimination featuring Reiley and Deb, and Lette showing up in a bikini over her pajamas to meet a mystery man, and we've officially got ourselves another episode of The Challenge.

Cutthroat II is heating up—and we're only two episodes in.

Season 42, Episode 1 - Fuck Yeah, Cutthroat II! (Zoomcast) | The Challenge Recap10 Aug 202600:58:59

Season 42 is HERE, and we're heading to Bangkok for The Challenge: Cutthroat II!

The third season of This Ends Your Time On The Challenge kicks off with a sprint through the streets of Bangkok, three team captains, a whole lot of picking and choosing, and a brand-new set of rules that has us wondering just how much trust is actually going to exist between teammates.

We’re talking Cutthroat nostalgia, the infamous Banana Backpack, Bananas' history of screwing over his partners, and a new twist that could make the end of this season VERY interesting. Plus, The Challenge has officially landed on Paramount—and apparently that means one glorious thing:

THEY LET THEM SAY FUCK.

Fuck yeah!

We also have some very strong opinions about Cory once again claiming he's the greatest Challenger to never win, Sydney finishing first when we definitely didn't want her to, Michelle making decisions she absolutely should not be making, and a returning Challenger that absolutely was NOT on our bingo cards.

Then we get our first team challenge, learn how the new elimination mechanics work, and watch a classic elimination make its return.

We're kicking off Season 3 the only way we know how: opinions, nostalgia, questionable predictions, and a truly unnecessary amount of yelling about The Challenge.

Welcome to Cutthroat II. Welcome to Bangkok. Let's fucking go.

Season 38, Episode 18 & Episode 19 - Did the Duckweed Make Us Delusional? | The Challenge Recap23 Jun 202600:59:45

The Ride or Dies final continues, and we're starting to think the duckweed may have been affecting more than just the contestants. Jordan and Aneesa's partnership reaches a boiling point, Nany suffers a painful knee injury, and the finalists are tasked with dropping chalk bombs from a moving helicopter in one of the strangest checkpoints we've ever seen.

Meanwhile, the women repeatedly figure out the correct answers while their partners refuse to listen, Tori & Devin keep racking up wins, and production expects us to believe a timeline that becomes more confusing with every passing hour.

Join us as we recap the final two episodes of Season 38, question whether anyone on set owned a clock, and break down the crowning of The Challenge: Ride or Dies champions.

Season 38, Episode 17 - The Final Part 1: This Final Had EVERYTHING—Injuries, Blood, Fights, More Blood, and Pure Madness | The Challenge Recap07 May 202600:43:31

The FINAL is finally here—and it’s every bit as brutal, chaotic, and emotional as you’d expect. In this episode of This Ends Your Time on the Challenge, we break down one of the most intense finals in recent memory, from grueling endurance checkpoints to moments that had us questioning how far is too far.

We dive into the dynamics between teams as the pressure hits a boiling point, including rising tensions, unexpected frustrations, and whether trust can actually survive a final. Of course, we had to ask the big question—if history repeats itself, would certain players make the same million-dollar decision again?

From shocking injuries to absolutely unhinged eating challenges, this final pulls no punches. We talk through the moments that had us yelling at our screens, the competitors who stepped up in a major way, and the ones who may have hit their breaking point.

Plus, we get into some very real debates—like what we would (or wouldn’t) endure to make it through a final ourselves.

If you thought this season was wild, just wait… the final takes it to another level.

Season 38, Episode 16 - No More Coasting: Bananas Faces Elimination Before a 100-Hour Final | The Challenge Recap04 May 202600:57:57

he “most important challenge of the season” lives up to the hype as tensions peak and every decision carries real consequences. With the final looming, alliances are tested, strategies are questioned, and one major player can’t avoid elimination any longer.

From ice baths and mind-bending puzzles in the Frozen Senseless daily to TJ’s signature sarcasm, this episode delivers chaos, comedy, and clutch performances. Devin continues to steal the show with some of the best lines of the season, while political maneuvering behind the scenes sets up a massive showdown.

Was this a true blindside—or just a perfectly timed move? We break down the strategy, the risks of crossing Bananas, and whether Devin made the right call. Plus, we debate the smartest long-term game moves, question team dynamics, and call out the narratives production keeps trying to sell.

Then it all comes down to one of the toughest eliminations we’ve seen: a physically brutal, high-stakes battle that pushes both teams to their limits. The outcome? Let’s just say… it changes everything heading into the final.

And just when you think it’s over—the real twist is revealed: a 100-hour final.

Let the chaos begin.

Season 38, Episode 15 - Knots, Chaos & a Landslide: When Jordan Unlocks Aneesa’s Power | The Challenge Recap04 May 202601:13:52

The elimination continues—and it turns into a straight-up clash of styles: agility vs. experience, finesse vs. grit. Kaycee & Kenny come in fast, but Jordan & Aneesa come in relentless. What starts as a knotty battle quickly becomes a masterclass in endurance, strategy, and willpower—and the result? Not even close.

But the real story isn’t just the win… it’s how Jordan pulls something out of Aneesa we’ve never quite seen before. Motivation, pressure, and a little bit of madness collide in one of the most surprising performances of the season.

Meanwhile, emotions are running high back at the house—loyalties crack, Fessy tries to flip the script (again), and Bananas delivers one of the most unhinged lines of the episode… before showing a surprisingly human side.

Then comes the daily: chaotic, nauseating, and borderline absurd in the best way possible. From flying bodies to a ball pit disaster, it’s the kind of challenge that leaves everyone questioning their life choices.

By the time we hit deliberation, the gameplay gets messy. Risky moves, questionable decisions, and one major reminder: if you volunteer yourself… you might’ve already lost.

This episode has everything—dominance, dysfunction, and a win that shifts the entire game.

Season 38, Episode 14 - Roses Are Red, This Game Is Messy | The Challenge Recap19 Apr 202601:21:21

A soft moment lands in the middle of a very unserious game. Lines get blurred, confidence starts outpacing logic, and a few people might be playing a completely different game than everyone else. We get into the conversations that didn’t sit right, the decisions that felt… ambitious, and why this episode might age badly for certain players. Plus, a daily that exposes more than intended and an elimination that reminds everyone what this game actually is.

Season 38, Episode 13 - Messy Fessy Forsakes Moriah | The Challenge Recap11 Apr 202601:18:45

On this episode of This Ends Your Time on the Challenge, we break down one of the messiest episodes yet. Fessy is wrong (again), Moriah sees the game clearly, and Jordan never promised anyone safety—despite the drama.

From puke-inducing smoothie chaos during the daily to Devin stepping in as the ultimate MVP spotter, this challenge was absolute madness. Plus, we dive into the endurance, puzzle, and bungee elements that led to a devastating loss for the yellow team.

At interrogation, Moriah keeps it real while Fessy plays both sides, and Amber nearly flips the entire game. Then it all comes down to a nail-biting elimination between Moriah and Nany—decided by ONE mistake.

Oh, and yes… Messy Fessy shows his true colors. Again.

Season 38, Episode 12 - Heat in the Kitchen and Fire on the Field | The Challenge Recap20 Mar 202601:02:04

We’re recapping The Challenge Season 38, Episode 12, and honestly… what was this episode?

Alicia’s kitchen is on fire, we cannot figure out eye masks to save our lives, and Devin & Horacio deliver the most chaotic pep talk of the season: “I’m a dog!”

Jordan gets real during his call home about Ukraine—but later flips the script when Tori tries to save Fessy, leading to one of the most interesting (and messy) decisions of the game so far.

Plus: Bananas vs. Fessy turns into a mutual “no YOU go into elimination” standoff, and we have a lot to say about it.

On this episode of This Ends Your Time on the Challenge, we dive into all the wild Challenge drama: backdoor votes, paranoia, and contestant chaos. Trivia brings out farts, dry heaves, and even a psychic moment from Wiley. Who’s really thinking for themselves—Moriah or Amber? Backstabbing, secret alliances, and spy-vs-spy scheming dominate the episode, while Nurys’ apology sparks debate. Plus, competitive eating challenges, pop culture references from R2D2 to the Williams sisters, and Bob Mackie’s unforgettable fashion moments. Don’t miss the laughs, chaos, and insider commentary on The Challenge!

Season 38, Episode 10 - Horacio Be Nimble, Horacio Be Quick | The Challenge Recap15 Mar 202600:51:44

Is Chris 'CT' Tamburello preparing for life beyond The Challenge? Rumor has it he pitched himself for Dancing With the Stars, adding to a growing list of reality TV appearances that includes The Traitors and Worst Cooks in America. Naturally, this sparks our latest conspiracy theory: is CT secretly studying other shows to gain an edge back on The Challenge?

Meanwhile, the team dynamics keep heating up. Faysal 'Fessy' Shafaat is feeling very confident about the powerhouse squad he drafted, while Moriah’s team is giving off serious “Bad News Bears” energy. This week’s daily leans heavily toward size and strength, leading to some wild matchups—including Kenny getting tossed around like a rag doll.

We also dig into the ongoing tension between Jordan Wiseley and Tori Deal, question why certain “ride-or-die” pairs weren’t paired up in the first place, and debate whether Johnny Bananas or CT would make the better future host if TJ Lavin ever stepped away.

Season 38, Episode 9 - Mini Final Meltdowns & The Jordan Factor | The Challenge Recap02 Mar 202600:37:34

It’s a MINI FINAL, which means egos are fragile, alliances are exposed, and puzzles are once again the great equalizer.

Before we even get into The Challenge Season 38, Episode 9, we have to address some pressing matters: The Overlord makes a dramatic post-snow appearance demanding treats, Wiley admits to not recognizing Analyse from Extracted, and we collectively agree this season of Worst Cooks in America is… not giving.

Now to the chaos.

Olivia may have forgiven Nelson, but we absolutely did not. Meanwhile, Fessy is deep in his feelings about “suffering loss after loss” (sir), despite stacking himself a powerhouse team. Devin spirals over being picked last, Tori takes that personally, and Bananas attempts to coach Moriah through team selection like he’s running a political campaign.

And then there’s the Jordan Factor™.

Tori wants to rekindle. Nurys seems intrigued. Jordan is, as always, going to Jordan. We need every detail about that breakup immediately.

This mini final delivers: geography shockers, puzzle dominance, Horacio frustration, messy emotions, and the kind of strategic cracks that make the second half of the season look VERY promising.

We break down the power shifts, the meltdowns, the shipping discourse (why are we still trying to make Nany and Bananas happen?), and why this season of The Challenge might be one of the best in years.

Strap in. The second half is about to be unhinged.

Season 38, Episode 8 - Birthday Cake & Backstabs | The Challenge Recap21 Feb 202600:40:04

This week on the podcast, we’re preparing to be fully snowed in as a massive winter storm threatens to ice over half the country — and possibly trap us inside for a week. If we lose power, just know it was worth it for this episode.

We’re celebrating Johnny Bananas’ birthday, questioning what happens when you don’t know ball on The Challenge, and breaking down the coldest move of the week: not saving your Challenge House cuddle buddy.

From messy strategy to frostbite-level betrayal, we’re covering all the drama — both meteorological and emotional. If you love reality TV recaps, Challenge politics, and chaotic commentary, this episode will keep you warm… even if the grid goes down.

Stay safe. Stay petty. And maybe stock up on snacks.

Season 38, Episode 7 - Big Swings & Bare Cheeks | The Challenge Recap16 Feb 202601:05:47

This week on This Ends Your Time on The Challenge, we’re diving into Season 38’s most chaotic episode yet — and asking the important questions. Are these couples real… or completely manufactured for TV land?

From kissing while running (why?) to contestants getting trapped by exercise equipment (HOW?), this episode had everything — including assless chaps and some truly bold gameplay decisions that turned into very big misses.

We break down the strategy, the forced romance vibes, and the PSA we didn’t know we needed.

If you love messy gameplay, questionable fashion choices, and players swinging for the fences, this recap is for you.

Season 38, Episode 6 - Eat Your Feelings: Frosting > Therapy | The Challenge Recap11 Feb 202601:16:36

In this episode of This Ends Your Time on The Challenge, we recap The Challenge: Ride or Dies – Season 38, Episode 6, where the feelings are big, the politics are messy, and absolutely no one chooses the healthy coping mechanism.

From awkward ride-or-die dynamics to confusing power moves, emotional confrontations, and one very memorable daily challenge, Episode 6 delivers chaos in multiple forms. We break down the shifting alliances, questionable strategy decisions, rising petty levels, and why some players might be playing the wrong game entirely.

Plus:

  • A debate about emotional eating vs. emotional spiraling

  • A little Survivor comparison

  • A moment of elite television that had us rewinding

  • And the question of whether frosting might actually fix most of this

Funny, a little shady, and slightly unhinged — just how we like it.

If you have nothing nice to say… come sit by us.

Season 38, Episode 5 - Big Moves, Bigger Mistakes: Jay & Michelle’s Power Trip | The Challenge Recap02 Feb 202600:42:55

In this episode of This Ends Your Time on the Challenge, we break down The Challenge Season 38, Episode 5, where winning power leads to some truly questionable decision-making.

We start by fact-checking production’s stats—because Veronica does not have the most final wins (she’s tied). From there, we go full data-nerd and analyze daily challenge win rates after manually scraping The Challenge Wiki. Here we find that size matters.

We once again beg production to tell us where this season is filmed, discuss why Moriah should absolutely listen to her mom about Bananas being a snake, and compare Darrell to the veteran restaurant employee who comes back after years away and doesn’t recognize a single coworker.

There’s an emo-themed party, another Burger King–sponsored episode (BK, call us), and Wes explains why challengers lose their minds over fast food. Devin calls Olivia a beast (correct), further proving she wasn’t “carried” in future seasons, while the house continues its weird refusal to give her credit.

Michelle and Jay win the daily and immediately decide it’s time to “make big moves”—despite having no real alliances, no protection, and zero reason to believe anyone is targeting them. Their deliberation is chaotic, their interrogation feels like they’re the ones on trial, and the phrase “split decision” is used in a way that makes absolutely no sense.

Laurel remains calm, cold, and terrifying (the scariest Wiley has ever seen her), Bananas politely shades Michelle and Jay’s gameplay, and the difference between Survivor strategy and The Challenge politics becomes painfully obvious.

We close with an elimination that proves Laurel and Jakk are true ride-or-dies, Fessy mourning the loss of his cuddle buddy, and one of the messiest power weeks of the season so far.

Season 38, Episode 4 - Mastermind Moves & a Brutal Elimination | The Challenge Recap27 Jan 202600:47:02

n this episode of This Ends Your Time on the Challenge, we recap The Challenge: Ride or Dies — Season 38, Episode 4, breaking down the strategy, social politics, and production choices that shaped the game.

We dive into behind-the-scenes tea surrounding Aneesa and Jordan’s Ride or Dies pairing, and how production decisions may have influenced the season’s storyline. We also define what we consider the modern era of The Challenge, discuss the decline of OG challengers, and examine how past records were earned in a very different competitive landscape.

This episode features mean girl behavior, standout confessionals, and praise for Darrell, who continues to be one of the most entertaining veterans in the house. We break down the conflict between Tommy and Analese, Laurel’s attention on Horacio, and the house dynamics heading into elimination.

Strategically, we analyze one of the best-executed plans of the season, as Olivia successfully manipulates the votewithout being detected — even by Bananas. The episode ends with one of the most emotional eliminations of the season, highlighting perseverance, loyalty, and what it truly means to be Ride or Dies.

We also touch on rumors for Season 42 and what they could mean for the future of the franchise.

Season 38, Episode 3 - It Drips Gold 🍯 | The Challenge Recap20 Jan 202600:57:15

In Season 38, Episode 3 of The Challenge, the game shifts the moment Jordan walks through the door—and suddenly everyone’s win equity plummets. On This Ends Your Time on the Challenge, we break down the psychology of lust vs. love and how it plays directly into Jordan and Tori’s complicated two-year, six-month relationship, including new insight into their breakup and why it feels like Tori was willing to fight harder for it than Jordan was.

We dive into Fessy’s rebrand as “Faysal,” self-proclaimed decision-maker (and admitted indecisive king), his commentary on Horacio’s dating appeal, and why Horacio might be one of the most unintentionally fascinating competitors in the house. Along the way, we detour into running as therapy, swear-word science, and why EMDR and endurance sports might not be that different.

The episode delivers a partnered Hall Brawl, one of the most talked-about eliminations of the season, featuring Olivia’s explosive entrance and Horacio’s surprisingly smart strategy. We also cover Bananas’ rare wholesome moment, the growing tension between Nurys and Ravyn (with Alicia spilling the tea), and why this episode felt absolutely top-tier from a viewer’s perspective.

Messy hookups, elite competition, emotional fallout, and an elimination people will argue about forever—this episode truly dripped gold.

Season 41 Player Rankings: Nobody Is Safe | The Challenge Recap16 Jan 202600:30:23

This is a special episode of This Ends Your Time on the Challenge, the podcast where we break down MTV’s The Challenge with strong opinions and questionable judgment. In this episode, we revisit The Challenge: Season 41 and rank every cast member from top to bottom. From legendary players like CT, Johnny Bananas, and Cara Maria to rookies who left us asking “why were you here?”, no one escapes our rankings.

But we didn’t stop at vibes alone. We compared our rankings using actual statistics to see how closely aligned—or completely unhinged—our opinions really are. Yes, we used correlation coefficients. Yes, it matters.

Along the way, we dig into the real impact of Season 41’s stacked cast, passionately drag (and occasionally defend) Challengers like Nany, Will, and Turbo, and pitch a future episode inspired by Jordan’s four essential skills needed to win The Challenge. We also spiral into brainstorming cursed merch ideas involving dog onesies and ducky bathrobesfor our overlord, Harvey 🐶🦆, and talk through plans to create a listener ranking quiz so fans can compare their rankings and find their Challenge-ranking soulmates.

Also, be sure to check out our new podcast, Sashay Away from RuPaul’s Drag Race, where we bring the same chaotic energy to the runway. If you love The Challenge, hot takes backed by math, and extremely specific dog merch requests, this episode is for you.

Season 38, Episode 2 – Be So Fucking Serious Right Now | The Challenge Recap09 Jan 202601:24:37

Fall has officially arrived—and so has the mess. In this episode of This Ends Your Time on the Challenge, Alicia and Wiley are revived by Season 38, Episode 2 after a rough September, diving headfirst into Twilight rules, Halloween eggnog discourse (bubblegum??), and why some opinions are simply unforgivable (looking at you, candy corn).

Alicia does her homework and uncovers wild insider tea about Turbo and Tamara that completely reframes his behavior this season—and we officially declare ourselves done with this version of Turbo. From confusing conversations with Nany to his first-ever elimination spiral, the vibes are bad and the masculinity is fragile.

We also finally settle the debate on Aneesa as the “Elimination Queen” using actual data (yes, we brought receipts), break down Devin’s surprisingly legendary elimination history, and ask whether Survivor really favors male winners more than female winners.

The daily challenge was so good Alicia brought it to her sociology of reality TV class, Horacio and Olivia absolutely dominated, and Nany showed flashes of why so many people believe she’s the best player to never win. Meanwhile, Michelle may be drunk on her own kool-aid, Jay continues to be an idiot, and we unpack how we feel about crowd interference, cheating, and players helping each other in eliminations.

Plus: Horacio and Laurel’s confusing dynamic, Jordan and Aneesa entering the game, and what it means that this is the first time Jordan and Tori have seen each other in 18 months.

Data, delusion, and reality TV chaos—exactly how we like it.

Season 38, Episode 1 – Cow Dicks, Chaos, and Confusion | The Challenge Recap02 Jan 202601:07:50

Episode 1 of The Challenge: Ride or Dies drops us straight into confusion—no rewind, no context, just vibes. We’re missing entire relationship backstories (Nurys and Nelson, explain yourselves), brushing up on geography (Argentina, baby), and questioning whether Ride or Dies even mean anything anymore.

We dig into the sociology of reality competition shows and why strong female players are systematically underrepresented—whether it’s game design, casting pipelines, or broader societal patterns. Survivor comparisons are made, captions are doing more storytelling than the cast, and Devin officially earns a spot in the Pussy Chicken Hierarchy™.

Meanwhile, Nelson delivers a motivational speech no one asked for, forgets his own age during a daily, and somehow frames never winning as a strength. Bananas gives off generational fuckboy energy, Fessy’s motives are questioned, Kayla says something absolutely wild on camera, and producers start openly roasting cast members.

Add in surprise vet arrivals, a game-changing power structure, “THE DRAW,” and the looming psychological chaos of rotating teams—and suddenly Ride or Dies feels less like a theme and more like a suggestion.

It’s messy. It’s confusing. It’s incredible television.

Season 38, Episode 0 - Ride or Dies… or Production Lies? | The Challenge Recap28 Dec 202500:56:02

Season 2 begins with The Challenge: Ride or Dies (Season 38), and we’re pressing pause before the chaos to ask one simple question: what actually counts as a ride or die?

In this Episode 0 recap, we set the stage for Season 38 by talking legacy players, modern Challenge dynamics, and how the game—and the fandom—has changed over time. We look at partnerships, alliances, and strategy through a long-term Challenge lens, with a little skepticism and a lot of opinions.

This episode is about context, not conclusions. If you love The Challenge recaps, behind-the-scenes speculation, old-school vs new-school debates, and commentary that doesn’t blindly accept the edit, this is your starting point.

Welcome to Season 2.

Season 41, Episode 21: Reunion, Part 2 – Zooted Allegations & Gaslighting Receipts | The Challenge Recap19 Dec 202501:14:56

We’re back with Part 2 of the Season 41 Reunion, and this episode is all about zooted allegations, gaslighting, and receipts that absolutely exist. We break down the online discourse surrounding the reunion, why so many cast members suddenly can’t remember things they said all season, and how denial somehow became the loudest strategy on the couch.

We unpack Michaela’s hostility toward Theo and Olivia (and the aggressive revisionist history that followed), Aneesa’s reunion contradictions complete with receipts, and the moment TJ Lavin shocked us by naming his MVP pick — a choice that left us questioning whether we’re watching a different show than production.

We also get into Cara Maria calling out Season 42 casting decisions, Horacio feeling blacklisted, Theo’s claim that the reunion was a controlled shouting match, and why the official Challenge podcast ending feels… ominous.

Plus: Ashley delivers elite one-liners, Hunger Games fashion analysis, cheating controversies, Challenge sex logistics in bunk beds, Midwest pest trauma, a haunted mouse interruption, and a childhood mouse friendship story that somehow makes sense.

It’s messy, funny as hell, and packed with moments you’ll want receipts for later.

The Challenge Season 41 Reunion Part 2 recap you didn’t know you needed — chaotic, honest, and FF: Funny as Fuck.

Season 41, Episode 20 - Turbo Wants the Smoke, Michaela Throws Shade & Exes III Rumors | The Challenge Recap15 Dec 202500:57:02

The Season 41 reunion of The Challenge did NOT hold back—and neither did we.

We break down Devyn Simone’s regal, Sheryl Lee Ralph–level reunion slay before diving headfirst into the drama production didn’t show. From Exes III rumors for Season 42 to cast confirmations and whispers of a Challenge godfather returning, the tea is piping hot.

We unpack the Will vs. Yeremi scuffle over Olivia, why production should’ve kept the footage, and how Yeremi defended Olivia as a partner when Will tried to shift the blame. Meanwhile, Michaela throws subtle (and not-so-subtle) shade at Olivia, which raises one big question—why is she so salty when Olivia literally won the season?

There’s plenty to say about Turbo, especially after blocking Sydnee on Twitter and leaving us on a cliffhanger demanding smoke from CT. With all his talk of honor, we question whether Turbo might actually be one of the most dishonorable players in Challenge history.

We also give Theo his flowers for taking reunion heat with humor, debate whether this was truly the “most dangerous final ever” (according to TJ… as always), and laugh over CT’s spot-on impersonations—plus his new movie role.

And yes, we go there:
– Is Sydnee playing dumb to win—or just Fake as Fuck?
– Who least deserves another callback?
– Did Will and Nany hook up before the reunion?! 👀

This season felt like a thick, fast-paced book—somehow dragging and flying by at the same time—and honestly? Those are the best kinds.

This episode delivers everything: dangerous sleep deprivation, messy partner drama, surprise penalties, emotional collapses, wild reversals of fortune, and one of the most jaw-dropping injury reveals we’ve ever witnessed.

Season 41, Episode 14 - The Kiss of Death | The Challenge Recap31 Oct 202501:10:33

This week on This Ends Your Time on The Challenge, the curse continues — whoever we root for goes home. We’re calling it The Kiss of Death.

We kick off with a little Challenge history (Real World x Road Rules, baby), a trip down memory lane with Leroy revealing Bananas’ exit strategy from Season 40, and another round of Alicia’s wild Challenge dreams — this time featuring TJ Lavin, a stolen baby, and some light blackmail.

Then we play matchmaker with our ideal final pairs: Amanda gets her flowers (redemption era!), Josh gets crossed off immediately, and it’s a battle between Cory’s finalist record and Leroy’s legend status.

In the episode itself, Theo might actually be working with a witch (and his psychic deserves a guest spot), while Turbo gets increasingly unhinged — telling Sydnee, “When you’re sad, say ‘I need Turbo.’” Big yikes. Meanwhile, Michaela’s pretending to be drama-free while puppeteering from the shadows, Adrienne’s got another terrible plan, and Aneesa’s serving hypocrisy in the elimination puzzle.

We talk the cold, the math puzzles, the glazing epidemic, and why Nany can’t win no matter what she does.

And finally — as our latest favorites fall, we face the big question: who can we root for without dooming them?

Season 41, Episode 13 - How to Save The Challenge (feat. Glazing, Cheating, and Hay Bales) | The Challenge Recap30 Oct 202501:25:43

This week on This Ends Your Time on The Challenge, we’re serving chaos with a side of solutions. We confirm Michaela’s eating-challenge cheating scandal (yes, production lied), debate Adrienne’s selective confidence, and watch Farmer Nany and Farmer Justin take the hay bale crown while America literally carries the team on her back.

We break down why Theo and Adrienne can’t win a challenge or an argument, unpack Olivia’s mysterious vibes, and ask the eternal question: why can Michaela talk shit about Theo but not vote for him? Plus — Leroy’s exit, Theo’s glazing, Turbo’s control issues, and Will spinning out in the comments.

Then we shift gears: The Challenge needs saving, and we’ve got the blueprint. From a feeder show to better scheduling — production, call us.

From Derrick’s tube-top tribute to Dee, to Aneesa proving us wrong with an uphill sprint, to the chaos of Theo calling everyone a pussy and Turbo losing it — this episode had it all. Plus, we get into why the house’s political game is an absolute mess, what this means for the alliances moving forward, and a spicy hint at the upcoming reunion.

This week on This Ends Your Time on The Challenge, Season 41, Episode 10 brings one of the most chaotic trivia dailies we’ve ever seen. Heights over water, impossible questions, and stair steppers that seemed designed to betray the players—was this challenge built for small competitors only?

Meanwhile, the house is a pressure cooker: Gabe and Jonna fake excitement about being partners, Michaela’s endless screen time leaves us scratching our heads, and Nany and Olivia battle for influence. The biggest moment of the week? Nany and Aneesa’s explosive confrontation that left the whole house buzzing. Was it a genuine meltdown or just crafty editing?

We break down the intense daily challenge (motion sickness included), Michaela’s hypocritical throw, and why the house is piling on CT—was it strategy, fear, or just groupthink? Plus, we unpack the elimination that had Dereck tossed like a chew toy, TJ grinning ear-to-ear, and CT proving why he’s still one of the most feared players in Challenge history.

Along the way, we share Alicia’s embarrassing Challenger dream, rename a certain cast member “Dereck FF,” and debate whether production pulled strings to keep CT alive.
