Whether you're a young performer or an adult, having an agent is an important part of becoming a professional.

#11 Contact Casting Directors like a professional
Saison 1
mardi 1 février 2022 • Durée 03:07
Have the confidence to contact casting directors like a professional.
No one wants to sound like an amateur, especially when you're talking to the person who might be able to give you a job. We know that casting directors are busy people, under a lot of pressure, so what can we do to make their life a little easier? In my opinion, it's getting straight to the point.
Once you've established a relationship with them, then you can be more personable, but until then, don't waste a minute of their time.
Tell them:
- Why you’re contacting them
- Roughly where you’re based and availability
- Offer to self-tape or meet
- Your contact details
