5 Ways to Get Paid More (solo episode)

Épisode 88

mardi 23 avril 2024Durée 15:35

5 ways you can increase your salary

1. Be more visable- “walk the halls”, lead calls, make yourself known, lead LinkedIn conversations and groups    2. Negotiate EVERYTHING- there are many things that are non-salary items that contribute to total compensation    3. Build your brand- be active on social media and contribute to media outlets.   4.  Come to negotiations with data points—prep with hard metrics on why you deserve the raise    5.  Get paid for the job your currently doing- Ensure you’re getting paid NOW what you deserve rather than accepting it when your boss tells you to “do the job for 6 months and then we’ll increase your pay if you’re doing well”. Never accept an increase in scope of work without getting the money first.
