infertility + divine timing | our journeys 15 Nov 202400:58:10

In this episode we both share the depth of our fertility + conception journeys but not just the physical side of things. We dive into how these journeys have shaped + changed us and therefore our pregnancies + motherhood.. as we've learned to surrender — not only our own life, but also the life of our children / unborn children — up to the Giver of life. Our God, the God of the universe, is truly the One who ultimately decides when our children will be conceived.

And..

"What if the miscarriage allows someone to notice their control issues + finally learn to fully surrender?"

"What if grief is the miracle that allows someone to live with their heart fully open for the first time?"

"What if 'infertility' is the miracle that brings a woman into deep, loving relationship with her body and soul?"
(Quotes from @trusting_birth)

we pray that our journeys will encourage you, especially if you are in a season of waiting for the gift of a child. 🤍

    Mikaela's birth stories05 Feb 202601:13:41

In today's episode we have the blessing + honour to hear both of Mikaela's birth stories - two very different pregnancies and also two very different births. You'll get to hear the journey she walked from a fear-filled birth with her daughter to an intuition-led one with her son, including some of the ins and outs of their NICU stay after a freebirth at home in their yurt.

We aren't inherently a birth podcast here, but pregnancy + birth are big things that connect us as women. And we have experienced the reality that coming back to the original design for both (pregnancy + birth) can be a huge step in our healing journeys as women, and can absolutely change how we then do the rest of our life + motherhood (like how Mikaela's intuition-led pregnancy & birth prepared her for their time in the NICU).

We pray that these stories would encourage you and give all the glory to the Giver of Life! Can't wait for you to listen in on this longer, but full of rich conversation + stories episode!
