Plus, Konosuke Takeshita defends the AEW International Title against Powerhouse Hobbs in a clash of raw power and technical skill that’s bound to steal the show!

Then, we break down the ROH Final Battle 2024 aftermath! Atlantis Jr. pulled off an epic win over Mansoor with some unexpected help from Danhausen. Katsuyori Shibata made quick work of Tommy Billington in a technical showcase, while Jay Lethal honored Macho Man Randy Savage by taking down QT Marshall. Red Velvet narrowly retained her ROH Women’s TV Championship against Leyla Hirsch in a controversial finish. Lee Moriarty successfully defended his ROH Pure Championship against Nigel McGuinness in a technical banger. Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara held onto their ROH Tag Team Titles in a brutal Texas Bull Rope Match against The Righteous, and in a crazy Survival of the Fittest match, Komander emerged as the new ROH World TV Champion! Chris Jericho also survived a tough battle to keep his ROH World Championship against Matt Cardona, thanks to some interference from Big Bill and Bryan Keith. Bandido made the save for a surprise return & gave the fans a scare with a potential injury.

But wait, there’s more! In some huge wrestling news, Tony Khan just boosted AEW’s valuation to over $2 billion. Plus, WWE just announced SmackDown will expand to three hours starting January 3, 2025, airing from 8-11 p.m. ET on USA Network! The first extended episode will be live from the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona—a massive shift for SmackDown!

Meanwhile, TNA Wrestling is going through some big changes. Jade Chung is set to leave the company, KUSHIDA and Trent Seven are on their way out, and Josh Alexander might be following suit. All of this comes amid a “cooling” of TNA’s relationship with NJPW, especially after Scott D’Amore’s departure. Plus, Rhino, recently inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame, is also leaving.

In sadder news, Rey Misterio Sr., the legendary uncle of WWE’s Rey Mysterio, passed away at the age of 66. His loss is felt deeply in the wrestling world, with tributes pouring in from fans and fellow wrestlers.
