#91 – Prosperity practices for fulfilment with Mary Margaret Skelly07 Aug 202100:59:26

In kundalini yoga, there are a wealth of teachings on the concept of “prosperity”.

I decided to invite Mary Margaret Skelly back on the show to go deeper on this profound concept.

In this conversation we explore the shifts that have happened between 2020 - 2021 personally and in her work, what prosperity means to her and what the practice involves, how important it is to build a strong nervous system to support you when success comes your way and what it looks like to help her clients achieve fulfilment in their work.

If you want to learn more about Mary Margaret’s background and her work, I suggest you listen to our last conversation - episode 60 which aired in Sep 2020.

Before we dive into this episode, I wish to mention that this was recorded in mid-July and sadly, 2 weeks later our teacher Guru Jagat passed away from complications post surgery. It was sudden, and while she left a void, she has only deepened our love for this work, and the creative mark she left on this world is only inspiring others to “keep up” and do the same.

It was with Mary Margaret’s permission that I’m sharing this episode with you in honour of someone we both cared about and respected deeply.

#70 – Four practices for success with your small business goals26 Nov 202000:33:53
Episode Notes

For today’s episode, I thought I’d dig into the archives and share with the podcast community some of the work that we’ve been doing inside the Create(her) Club. It’s only fair you get taste for what it’s like to be part of this magical group.

A big part of this 3 months spent together, was about giving our goals structure, get ourselves off the starting line and hopefully ticking one or two off goals the list.

And faaaaaaaaar out did these women go for it.

On the first call - a goal setting call, I took the women through an exercise called Creating Your Success Container which I'm sharing with you today.

#60 – Mary Margaret Skelly on creating a conscious work environment where women thrive10 Sep 202000:57:02

Mary Margaret Skelly believes a woman’s overwhelm and job satisfaction can be remedied by reconnecting to our essence, forgetting much of what we've learned about what a successful life looks like, and staying true to ourselves. The traditional, one-dimensional path simply does not work for most of us.

Having advised hundreds of business leaders through her work as an executive search consultant on Wall Street, in Silicon Valley, and for companies of all sizes across industries around the world. As the co-founder and former co-CEO of a sustainable fashion business, Weve, I also understand the unique challenges facing entrepreneurs.    Her message is about consciousness and the freedom to choose a career path that allows for more creativity and more genius - whether that be in corporate or small business environment.

#59 – Designer Jess Wells on collaborations, dream clients & staying true to your values 02 Sep 202000:57:02

My guest today is a friend and inspiration when it comes to design collaborations. She is the founder of Altrd Studio - the place where you bring an idea, and we breathe it to life.

Jess Wells began her design career many years ago working for Lisa Messenger at the much adored Collective Hub magazine. After moving onto Aussie favourites, Seafolly and Miléa, she took a chance job offer that saw her relocate to Los Angeles to pursue her career within the fashion industry.

Since returning home to Australia, Jess has steadily built her client base and portfolio to focus on bigger projects and clients whose values mirror her own.

Having experienced the dark and wasteful side of the fashion industry first-hand, Jess has committed her future to collaborating only with clients whose hearts and back pockets are “in the right place”.

This episode we drop the formalities and this one is much like a conversation between girlfriends. We dive into Jess’s story, how she came to be led by values and learned big lessons around boundaries, her business model and finding her fit as a designer.
