This episode we are joined by Ian Dundas - President & CEO of Enerplus Corporation - a Calgary based energy company that trades on both the Toronto Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange, with a market cap of ~$5 billion & $3.7 billion respectively.
Enerplus currently produces ~100,000 BOE/d from its USA properties in North Dakota & Pennsylvania.
Mr. Dundas became President & Chief Executive Officer of Enerplus on July 1, 2013.
Mr. Dundas joined Enerplus' predecessor in 2002 as Vice President of Business Development, and in 2010 his role expanded to Executive Vice President.
In 2011, Mr. Dundas was appointed as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining Enerplus, Mr. Dundas held several executive positions in the merchant banking business, where he helped oil and gas companies grow by accessing the funding and expertise they required.
Mr. Dundas is a member of the Business Council of Canada and of the Board of Governors of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers.

Prior to launching MWG in 2015, Bruce spent 25 years at McLean Budden as an Executive Vice President and Managing Director.
He was one of the key Portfolio Managers of the Canadian Equity Growth Fund, one of the largest equity portfolios in Canada at the time, the American Equity Fund, the International Equity Fund and the Global Equity Growth Fund.
As a Portfolio Manager on the American Equity, he enjoyed one of the best track records in the industry, growing the portfolio to over $5 billion.

Prior to McLean Budden, Bruce was Vice President and Equity Analyst at Nesbitt Thomson from 1985 to 1990 where he achieved top rank as a Special Situations Analyst in the Brendan Wood International Survey of institutional investors.
Bruce started his investment career in 1976 at Crown life Insurance Company in Toronto as an International Economist and Financial Services Analyst and was Manager Canadian Equities when he left in 1985 to join Nesbitt Thomson.
Among other things, we sat down and discussed 40 years on Bay Street, and a few of the lessons learned along the way.

Mr. Bertram was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Keyera from 1998 until 2015 when he became Executive Chair. During this time, Mr. Bertram led the company in significant growth and major acquisitions while enabling consistent delivery of value to customers and shareholders.
Previously, Mr. Bertram was Vice President of Marketing for Gulf Canada Ltd. and Vice President of Marketing for Amerada Hess Canada Ltd.
Mr. Bertram is a director of Methanex Corporation, the world’s largest producer and supplier of methanol to major international markets.
Mr. Bertram joined the Emera Board as a Director in 2018. He is a member of the Management Resources Compensation Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.

Mr. Stadnyk has over 40 years of oil and gas experience and is the former President & CEO and Director of ARC Resources Ltd., retiring in 2020. During his tenure as CEO, and prior to that as COO, Mr. Stadnyk played a pivotal role in ARC's transformation from a Royalty trust to a leading Canadian producer. His extensive career also includes working for a major oil and gas company in both domestic and international operations.
Mr. Stadnyk holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He holds an ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta. Mr. Stadnyk formerly held a position on the Board of Directors of Veren Inc. and PrairieSky Royalty Ltd. and served as a Governor for CAPP for over a decade. This episode we are joined by Chris Slubicki, most recently President, CEO & Director of Modern Resources Inc., a Calgary-based private oil and gas company which was sold to Tourmaline Oil for ~$150MM.
From 2009 to 2011, Chris was Chief Executive Officer of OPTI Canada, which was sold to CNOOC for $2.1 billion in late 2011.
Chris is the former Vice-Chairman of Scotia Waterous and was one of the four original founders of Waterous and Co., a private global oil and gas mergers and acquisitions firm, starting the firm in Calgary in 1989.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with Distinction; Gold Medalist) from the University of Calgary. He holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School; and he received an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Calgary.
