Processing Our Grief Post Election08 Nov 202400:57:14

This episode was recorded live with a small virtual audience and is being published with no editing.  We wanted the opportunity to talk through our emotions about the election results and give you that discussion real and raw.

The first part of the discussion we focus on ways that we are coping and trying to keep our spirits up.  We also talk about the incredible trans politicians who were elected and reelected this year.

In the second part, we discuss the hateful anti-trans rhetoric that was used to win votes, our nation's future with an eye to Project 2025, and the current anti-trans legislation that is active in Congress.  There is a warning and brief pause before this part of the episode, so please only listen when you have the emotional capacity for it.

We're going to process, cry, be angry, and then we're going to continue fighting for our rights and yours.  We love you all, except the bigots.
