| Episode 227 - Carrick Is Taking Manchester United Backwards + Man City Beat Liverpool, But Did Anything Matter? | 12 oct. 2026 | 01:03:09 | |
Manchester City beat Liverpool, but did anything about it matter? Patrick and Neel review the weekend in the Premier League and La Liga.
They start with City’s win at Anfield, Haaland’s new Abu Dhabi house and the siege mentality around the club, then ask whether Liverpool’s midfield balance and Florian Wirtz’s role are fixable.
Then they turn to Manchester United’s draw with Spurs. Why do Carrick’s United keep falling for the same pressing trap, and can they create anything against a low block? Plus: whether De Zerbi’s patterns are anywhere to be seen, Mourinho’s struggling Real Madrid, and Chelsea and Fulham.

| Episode 225 - Why the Premier League HAS to Kick Out Man City | 05 oct. 2026 | 00:57:33 | |
Ted is back from holiday to give his full take on the Manchester City charges: what punishment actually makes sense, whether titles can be undone, and why the appeal's central defense doesn't hold up. They also run the fantasy logistics of an actual City squad auction.
Then they turn to the Premier League as it resumes: hot seats for Pierre Sage and Roberto De Zerbi, Crystal Palace's ugly underlying numbers, Florian Wirtz's rocky start at Liverpool, what Alonso is building at Chelsea, and growing noise around Michael Carrick's job. They close with the players they're most excited about: Alexander Isak, Charalampos Kostoulas, and Brighton's latest veteran reclamation project.

| Episode 224 - Roma, Dortmund and Lazio: Contenders or Pretenders? | 01 oct. 2026 | 00:46:32 | |
Are Borussia Dortmund, Roma and Lazio genuine contenders or early season pretenders? Patrick and Hayden dig into the numbers behind three overlooked sides making noise around Europe.
Dortmund are top of the Bundesliga with four wins from four, but do they have the quality to challenge Bayern? Roma lead Serie A with the best goal difference after five games, so what are they doing differently, and where could they strengthen to catch Inter? And Lazio have started well on the pitch under Gattuso while their fans boycott home games, so how much of that start is sustainable?

Man City stay perfect with a 5-3 win over Sunderland, but they conceded 3.6 xG, their worst defensive game in over a decade. We break down whether Maresca's expansive approach is a fixable balance issue or a real problem. Arsenal get thumped 3-0 at Brighton, and we dig into whether the press actually cracked their defense or exposed something else. Real Madrid lose the Madrid derby to Atletico, and Mourinho's project looks shakier than ever. Plus Leeds and Brentford quick hits, Chelsea's midfield mess, and our verdict on Tottenham vs Man United: who should actually be more worried?

| Episode 218 - Champions League Takeaways: Arsenal Have a Gyökeres Problem | 10 sept. 2026 | 00:46:10 | |
The Champions League is back. Patrick and Hayden break down the opening round of the league phase.
Real Madrid beat Inter Milan 2-1, but the performance raises real questions about their defensive cohesion in transition, especially in wide areas. Arsenal cruise past Napoli on over 4 xG, though Viktor Gyokeres' fit up front is still an open question. Liverpool see off a well-organised Atletico Madrid side that caused real problems in behind their back line.
Plus: Aston Villa's promising first half against Club Brugge, Manchester City's Erling Haaland problem, and rampant starts from Barcelona and PSG.

| Episode 216 - Winners And Losers Of The Summer Transfer Window | 02 sept. 2026 | 01:12:06 | |
Patrick and Ted wrap up the entire summer transfer window, going club by club through who actually improved their squad, who overpaid, and who's already in trouble two games into the season.
Chelsea spent over 400 million and still turned a profit, while Spurs spent a fortune on players Ted and Patrick mostly like and still can't win a game. Man City loaded up on midfielders, Liverpool came away with real gaps after missing on several targets including a late run at Cody Gakpo, and Arsenal ended the window looking like the team nobody actually caught. They also work through the promoted clubs, the windows that missed completely, and the few teams who found real value shopping outside the usual markets.

| Episode 212 - Predicting Every Team's Finish in the 2026/27 Premier League | 17 août 2026 | 01:16:33 | |
Ted and Patrick rank the entire Premier League table from 1 to 20 ahead of the new season. They cover the relegation battle (Hull City, Sunderland, Coventry, Ipswich), a wide open mid-table (Fulham, Newcastle, Leeds, Everton, Crystal Palace, Forest, Brentford, Bournemouth), the Aston Villa vs Manchester United argument for 8th, Tottenham's defensive upgrade, Brighton's bounce-back case, and a genuine three-way title debate between Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea, with Manchester City on the outside looking in. They also break down how this summer's late transfer window action could still reshuffle these Premier League table predictions before kickoff.

| Episode 204 - How Spain Dismantled Argentina, Plus Chelsea's £117m Rogers Gamble | 20 juil. 2026 | 00:56:15 | |
Spain complete a dominant World Cup with the most one-sided final in decades, and Patrick and Neel break down exactly how they shut Argentina out of the game. They dig into Scaloni's team selection, why Argentina's long-ball approach failed, and whether this Argentina side ever deserved to be called the second-best team in the tournament. Then it's on to the transfer news: Chelsea's £117m deal for Morgan Rogers, whether the fee makes any sense, and what it means for their Financial Fair Play situation heading into the rest of the window.

| Episode 202 - This Is The Only Way England Can Contain Messi and Spain Have to Stop Being Spain | 13 juil. 2026 | 00:57:17 | |
The World Cup semifinal bracket is set, and Ted and Hayden Van Brewer break down both matchups along with a full slate of transfer news.
They dig into whether France vs Spain risks being a dull one, and why Spain might need to abandon their usual patient build-up for something more end-to-end. Then it's England vs Argentina, where the Arsenal comparison from earlier in the week gets fully explored: an England side that suffers defensively, struggles to control games, and may need Reece James's fitness gamble to pay off if they want to deny Argentina the ball and neutralise Messi.
On the transfer side: Barcelona's low-cost move for Karim Adeyemi, Chelsea's crowded winger situation and Garnacho's uncertain next step, Liverpool bringing in a more traditional six, and Manchester United's Tielemans and Andre Santos double-signing to rebuild their midfield.

| Episode 201 - Messi Can't Win The World Cup Without This Player + The France Weakness Morocco Can Exploit | 08 juil. 2026 | 00:57:14 | |
Argentina survived Egypt, Switzerland ground past Colombia, and the World Cup quarterfinal bracket is set. Ted and Hayden Van Brewer break down all four matchups, plus two transfers to know before the weekend.
They dig into Argentina's missing piece since Ángel Di María left the picture, and why Giuliano Simeone might be the answer against Switzerland. England vs Norway comes down to wingers versus fullbacks, with Alexander Nusa singled out as the player who needs to step up. On the other side of the draw, they explain why Spain should be favourites against Belgium despite lacking their usual cutting edge, and why Morocco's patient possession style makes them a genuinely dangerous matchup for France.
Then it's transfers: Jed Spence's rumoured move to Everton, Newcastle's teenage Ajax midfielder Steur, and why PSG might be ready to sell 18-year-old Ibrahim Mbaye.

| Episode 194 - He Ran Circles Around Brazil. Now EVERYONE Wants to Sign Him. | 15 juin 2026 | 00:59:41 | |
Patrick and Ted are back for their first World Cup episode, working through the opening round of fixtures and the early transfer window stories.
On the games: Brazil vs Morocco raised serious questions about Ancelotti's side, and Patrick had a few rants pending. The USA looked more convincing than anyone expected against Paraguay. Turkey managed 30 shots and 1.40 xG against Australia, which will surprise nobody who has watched Turkey at a major tournament before. Ivory Coast edged Ecuador in a game that was more fun than it had any right to be.
On transfers: Ayyoub Bouaddi ran circles around Brazil at 18 years old and PSG, Arsenal and Liverpool are all circling. Ted and Patrick dig into what his numbers actually look like and whether the £60-70M fee makes sense for any of them. Christos Tzolis is reportedly heading to Arsenal and could be a straight swap for Martinelli. And Marc Cucurella is off to Real Madrid on a six year deal, which raises the question of what exactly Real Madrid are doing this summer.

| Episode 191 - Why Germany Could STRUGGLE at the 2026 World Cup | Groups E and F Preview | 04 juin 2026 | 00:47:51 | |
Patrick and Neel break down Groups E and F ahead of the World Cup. They dig into Germany's tactical setup under Nagelsmann, covering the attack rotation with Undav, Havertz, Wirtz and Musiala, the defensive concerns at full-back, and whether the midfield can handle more athletic teams in transition. Ecuador's ironclad defensive record gets examined alongside their near-total lack of attacking threat, and why the Ecuador vs Ivory Coast opener could be the defining game of the group. They cover Curaçao's squad, what Ivory Coast's exciting forward line needs to do to progress, and rank the group. In Group F they look at the Netherlands' injury-hit squad missing Xavi Simons and the creativity question that brings, Japan's huge loss of Mitoma and the pressure that puts on Kubo, Sweden's dependence on Isak and Gyokeres, and Tunisia's likely strategy of grinding out three draws. Plus an introduction to the Transfer Flow World Cup bracket builder with live odds and a leaderboard, and Patrick's charity walk in the Indian Himalayas.

| Episode 190 - The Real Reason Iraola Will Succeed At Liverpool + What It Actually Takes to Rebuild a Football Club | 01 juin 2026 | 01:11:13 | |
On this episode, Ted opens up about the reality of rebuilding two women's teams at once, what he has learned, and why he is genuinely excited about the window they are putting together this summer. Then Patrick and Ted break down the Champions League final, making the case that Arsenal were far better than the result suggests and that PSG won it with whisker thin margins. Is Morgan Rogers the right fit for Arsenal? They dig into the data and explain why the price tag does not make sense. Ted then gives his take on why Iraola is a perfect fit for Liverpool, why Alonso was never going to work there, and why Senesi may be following him through the door at Anfield. Enjoy!

Mo Salah's attitude problem, Konaté's Liverpool stalemate, why Bernardo Silva doesn't fit the Premier League anymore, the Vlahović wages nightmare, and whether Casemiro is genuinely MLS-bound. | Episode 183 - Does the Future of Football Look Like PSG vs Bayern? | 30 avr. 2026 | 00:33:22 | |
Ted is back from Japan (lightly concussed by the doorways) and Patrick wastes no time getting into it. Was Bayern 5-4 PSG the greatest Champions League game ever played, and was it a glimpse into how football will look in the future?
Then Arsenal's cagey 0-0 with Atleti, whether Mourinho to Real Madrid makes any sense whatsoever, Enzo Fernández to Real Madrid or Man City and what role he'd actually play at each, and Alex Scott linked to a big move ahead of a World Cup summer that could shake up the transfer market entirely.

| Episode 182 - Barcelona are FAILING Lamine Yamal + EPL Roundup | 27 avr. 2026 | 00:48:00 | |
Patrick and Neel break down a big Premier League weekend, starting with West Ham's unlikely survival push and the underlying numbers behind their turnaround. Nuno Espirito Santo has quietly turned this team into a functional mid-table side, but with Spurs breathing down their necks the margin for error is tiny. Xavi Simons is out for the rest of the calendar year with an ACL, which could not have come at a worse time for a Spurs side that just cannot string wins together. Then the conversation turns to Lamine Yamal, out for the rest of the season with a hamstring, and why Barcelona keep doing this to their best players. Patrick and Neel compare his career minutes to players three years older than him, revisit the Pedri cautionary tale, and ask why clubs refuse to manage their stars properly when the fixture pile never gets any lighter. PSG get held up as the model for how to do it right. Arsenal are also discussed, grinding out a 1-0 over Newcastle in a game that left the entire squad doubled over at the final whistle. And finally, Man City's fixture congestion and what it means for the title race, plus a quick look at a Liverpool side that still has no idea what it is.
