With Sam out of town, we had former D1 Assistant, Bryan Torresani fill in to provide some great details on the recruiting process. Coach Torresani has over 10 plus years of experience as a D3 Head Coach, and spent multiple years on staff at both the D1 & D2 level. He offers a ton of insight on the recruiting process, and the advice he offers to kids interested in playing college baseball. He discusses some of the changes in the landscape, and some of the steps recruits should take if they want to play college baseball. It is a loaded episode with a ton of great information!

2-time All American Ben Watson joins the podcast to talk about his recruiting process from Elizabethtown to Virginia Tech. Ben had a lot of success at Elizabethtown, which allowed him to enter the transfer portal and move up to the ACC. In Ben's 1st year in the ACC he led the conference in batting average on his way to being named a 3rd team All American. It is a really great episode every baseball fan should listen to!

Sam & Trevor hop back on the podcast to answer a listeners question about how the settlement changes impact private schools at the Division 1 level. They discuss the implications on schools that have smaller athletic departments and more expensive tuitions and how that can impact the amount of aid they are allowed to offer. Then after that they discuss in detail what the end of summer ball should look like for 2025s and 2026s. They discuss how 2025s should prioritize where the conversations are being had, and discuss how 2026s balance development vs. exposure to create the most opportunities.
