S4 Ep4: The Sync Report | Lili Haydn
Saison 4 · Épisode 4
jeudi 2 février 2023 • Durée 02:14:12
Hear what it was like to be the child of oddball Hollywood luminaries David Jove & Lotus Weinstock, and how she now suspects her father wasn’t only a Hollywood dealer with a penchant for guns.
From composing with Hans Zimmer, to touring with Robert Plant and Jimmy Page, being booed at Madison Square Gardens, recording critically acclaimed major label albums as a solo artist to collaborating with artists including Herbie Hancock, Sting, the LA Philharmonic, and George Clinton's P-Funk All Stars we talk about it all.
Listen up and you’ll hear why George Clinton called her "the Jimi Hendrix of the violin."
Please help Lili’s song, supporting Iranian women, to reach more people by streaming "Woman Life Freedom" after you listen to her conversation with us.

S3 Ep7: The Sync Report | Dr. Jess Duckworth
Saison 3 · Épisode 7
jeudi 22 septembre 2022 • Durée 01:08:32
As a medical doctor, Jess was at the frontline of the UK covid pandemic, but then, on her way home after long, long shifts in hospital she would sit at the piano and play one of her beautiful compositions for the patients who could not have visitors and the medics and staff who could barely rest.
Hear Jess talk about this time in the world and how it inspired her to compose more beautifully emotive songs for her forthcoming album, with songs about new beginnings, not just coming out of the pandemic, but in many areas of life, including the effect of her latest new medical role and the babies she’ll be bringing into the world!
Dr Jess Duckworth is a hugely talented composer and pianist and a huge inspiration, no wonder our panel fell head over heels for her, and we are sure you will too. Be sure to check out Dr Jess Duckworth's highly emotive music on your favorite music provider.
Stay tuned for the sync session and music from you our audience, plus a discussion on World Peace School Sports Day with creators Mike Molloy & Derek Peaple.

S3 Ep5: The Sync Report | Alec Stern
Saison 3 · Épisode 5
jeudi 8 septembre 2022 • Durée 01:38:51
Find out how Alec went from writing music to working in the music department for a major advertising agency, at a time when major artists were waking up to how lucrative a music placement could be. Listen to Alec talking about being the first person to license a Prince song for sync whilst working as Director of Music for two major advertising agencies.
Listen to Alec talk about the importance of creating an emotional connection with the visuals through choosing the right music. And how he worked on a Skittles Super Bowl advertising campaign that resulted in a real Broadway show, with Alec producing the hugely successful official cast album that resulted.
In 2022, Alec teamed up with Music Supervision company Radish Music to continue finding innovative ways for music to be an integral piece in the way artists, brands, and storytellers communicate and interact with the world. Alec also found time to write, record and release his album “Tell, The River” which has storytelling at its heart and features collaborations with a number of other artists and storytellers to create a piece of art.
All of this and then the music sync session featuring artists who submit music to our Sunday sync session on Clubhouse for consideration in real music sync opportunities. Stay tuned to hear what our panel thought of their music.

Saison 3 · Épisode 3
jeudi 25 août 2022 • Durée 01:43:14
Find out what happens when a filmmaker comes to a music supervisor with the music they want, or what happens when an artist turns down a music sync request. And why that is more likely to happen in advertising or with football films!
Listen to them both talk about some of the difficulties they’ve encountered in their roles, as well as some of the best parts of being a music supervisor. Plus, they remind us about the importance of metadata and what happens when you don’t include it.
Why does Michelle love working with composer and producer Marius De Vries? (no relation!) What’s it like to be freelance in the music industry and how do they create a work & life balance in such a stressful role and business? And that’s just to start!
Stay tuned for music from our sync session including Belle Wilder, The Aftershox and Izzy Spring.
