On this week’s episode, we talked about government auctions, Bill Simmons vs. The World, and the new film Coyote vs. Acme, in theaters now. It was a fun one!

RIP Dolly Parton and Tim Curry. And a review of T2, since it’s back in theaters.

Some housekeeping notes!

We left Patreon about six weeks ago, which means everyone who was a subscriber there has gotten (at least) a full month of episodes here. We’re sending this one to all subscribers instead of paid subscribers just to make sure, but after this, the show will be for paid members only. Just FYI.

If you prefer to listen to the show via your podcast player (Apple, Spotify, whatever), you can do so via a private RSS link. But Substack makes it slightly tricky to find this, since they want you watching/listening it on their app. There’s a step-by-step here, but one key thing that they kind of elide: YOU HAVE TO DO THIS FROM YOUR DESKTOP/BROWSER. You cannot do it via the app (or on your phone, I don’t think). It’s annoying.

Anyway, FROM YOUR BROWSER click here, scroll down to “Private podcasts,” and click “Set Up.” Should look like this:

Then you can pick your preferred app and follow the instructions. It’s pretty straightforward.

Any other issues, just ping us in the comments and we’ll try to help.

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a wait hold on. This isn’t right.

It’s a slobs v snobs movie where the snobs are unambiguously in the right. Death to pickleball!

An adventure 2,800 years in the making! Or so! Give or take. (I mean the transition to Substack, not Homer’s poem.)

Plus ... some pod news!

We were going to address the new Supergirl at the end of this episode, but we ran out of time. NEXT WEEK, FOLKS. NEXT WEEK.
