About Sangeeta Relan

Sangeeta Relan, an Associate Professor at Delhi University, has over thirty years of experience teaching Finance, Economics, Management, Insurance, and Corporate Governance. She has made significant contributions to curriculum development and played an active role in guiding students in their academic and research pursuits. Sangeeta has also served as the Head of Department and contributed to various university committees and governing bodies.

Pursuing a PhD in Corporate Governance and Gender Diversity at the Delhi School of Economics, she has published numerous research papers and book chapters. Sangeeta runs the platform AboutHer Women, which includes the e-magazine AboutHer Mag and the podcast The AboutHer Show, both of which focus on women’s issues, challenges, and achievements. The Delhi Management Association has recognised her efforts for their social impact.

Beyond academia, she is an accomplished writer with over sixty-five short stories to her name, featured in various publications. She also moderates literary events and serves on the Editorial Board of Unhurry, a digital mental health platform. In her leisure time, Sangeeta enjoys reading, singing, cooking, and travelling. She is a passionate saree enthusiast and book lover with a goal of visiting 500 bookstores in her lifetime.
