After a digression on Stephen’s history of shoplifting, the trio explore the darker side of Christmas. Krampus. The Yule cat. Askasleikir. These terrifying figures of folklore inspire a new holiday demon who definitely won’t call before dropping by.

If you turned into one of your past Halloween costumes, which would you choose? What are your favourite trick-or-treat candies? Does Darth Vader have a dick? It’s these important questions that inform Stephen, Matthew, and Louise’s improvisation, a petrifying plot of pimply piss kids planning a party.

Stephen relates the contemporary perception of Mountain Dew, Matthew defends his ska sensibilities, and Louise chronicles that one time somebody turned off the lights in the bathroom. Louise recounts the film that tormented her youth, Darby O’Gill and the Little People. Motivated by this foundational text of Hollywood, from the era in which children’s movies were not meant to entertain but to traumatize, the trio improvises a cautionary lesson about stranger danger in the Emerald Isle.

Matthew and Louise confront Stephen’s multitude of fears: musicals, contagious freckles, arm amputation, pale kids, and haunted houses. But mostly vampires. The undead creatures of the night provide inspiration for their improvised tale, Fright-Day Night Lights.

Matthew discusses his formative childhood fear of bats, which did not lead to him becoming a caped vigilante (yet). The trio then improvise a thinly-veiled allegory about the horrors of puberty.

Stephen, Matthew, and Louise discuss their introduction to horror via Goosebumps, then Matthew and Louise try to convince Stephen that plants are scary. Will they succeed with their improvised story, Burgers from the Beyond?
