Over the past 15+ years of working with clay, Kara has left her day job, built out her home studio, developed a line of work inspired by walking the coast of southern England, created a series of online workshops, and written a book (!!!), Pottery for Beginners.
Other topics range between (but are not limited to) making hard things look easy, formulating and layering crystalline glazes, finding comfort in sharing the process, the glamour of emptying sink traps, and designing new work using a holistic approach.
