Today we interviewed one of the most interesting people we've ever had on this channel. I speak to longtime Philly police officer William "Bill" Hunter. Hunter is from the Badlands, one of the worst neighborhoods in Philly and eventually became a cop there in the 1990's. Throughout his career, he's worked plainclothes, SWAT, high level wiretaps, drug investigations and more. We also talked about life in Kensington, one of the biggest open air drug markets in America.

In all of my years of covering and looking into organized crime, there is no person more interesting than drug kingpin Frank Matthews. Raised in North Carolina, Frank moved to New York City with a dream of making it. He entered the drug trade and transformed into the biggest trafficker born in this country ever. He cut out the Mafia which was integral in his growth. Then he was arrested in the early 1970's and disappeared with tens of millions of dollars and 50 plus years later, the question is, where is he?

Organized crime and the Mafia have infested America for decades. Mob bosses like John Gotti and Joe Massino preyed on American industry and perpetrated crime through illegal rackets. In the end, they were brought down by the RICO act. Today there are still mobsters and though they look different, they still operate and conduct business in the same ways. The Mafia is a clear influence on new age gangsters in cities around the country like Philadelphia. Today we delve into "Fat Roc" , a gangster and a leader in a group called Omerta and Zoo Gang, two crime groups that operated in North Philadelphia. ALL OF THE INDIVIDUALS IN THIS VIDEO ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY AND ALL OF THE INFORMATION IN THIS VIDEO CAME FROM FEDERAL INDICTMENTS THAT ARE PUBLIC RECORD.

He rubbed elbows with members of multiple crime families, even getting into it with Bonanno associate Hector "Junior" Pagan. In the end he went to federal prison hobnobbing with some pretty big names. Now he puts his life back together.

I have interviewed many people that have been to federal prison. Many have told me stories about doing time with some of the most dangerous people in America including gangsters, mobsters, traffickers and killers. Today though I speak to an individual named Eric King that's been in America's most secure federal prison, ADX Florence in Colorado. We talked about his journey as a convict in getting there, to his time inside and much more. He also filled me in on stories about mobsters like Vincent Basciano and Tommy Pitera as well as gangsters like El Chapo and Wayne "Silk" Perry.

In the first 15 minutes or so I also delve into the recent news of former Gambino mob associate John Alite becoming a politician in the state of New Jersey.
