Tass and a drunken Clarkie deep dive into the key moments of the 2024 NRL Grand Final, including Howarth’s no-try call and Munster’s biting allegation, where the Panthers bested the Storm, the best and worst players in the match, and how long the Panthers can keep up the dynasty… In our “Around the Grounds” segment, Norths Devils claim their first State Championship, the Roosters claim their 2nd NRLW title, and Wigan look to go B2B in the Super League as Hull KR are seeking their first premiership since 1985… In the “Bunker Review” segment, we discuss the Dally M Medalist and Team of the Year and compare it to The Sideline Story MVP and TOTY!
With five rounds remaining in the NRL finals-race: Melbourne drop a game and give Penrith a sniff at snatching the Minor Premiership, Easts and Cronulla maintain their Top 4 spots with Canterbury and North QLD still nipping at their heels alongside Manly. Dragons hop over the Dolphins and Canberra into the 8 as their battle for finals contention heats up. Gold Coast and Newcastle keep their faint finals hopes alive, with NZ, Brisbane and Souths bowing out of the race. Parramatta separate themselves from the bottom of the ladder, with Tigers facing their 3rd wooden spoon in a row. We also dive into the Super League Round 20 results and NRLW Round 2 results before our “Bunker Review” segment discussing the prospect of bringing back the NRL 100m race!
