Often having to resort to praying in public or missing it altogether due to the limited exposure to female friendly prayer spaces.

We delve into the process of how she took Muslimah from concept into reality to help solve a problem many Muslim women face on a daily basis without any previous experience, technology background or startup capital. Aysha shares the importance of seeking help and why we should take the leap of faith and get started with our ideas. As a result she won the idea factory  competition and even presented Muslimah to Her Majesty the Queen.

Dr Aaniya Sherwani is a UK born medical doctor who graduated from Imperial College London in 2018. Having completed her foundation training in the NHS, she has decided to challenge herself by pursuing a career in healthcare product management which she hopes will combine her clinical & creative selves. She currently works as an advisor to health-tech startups and is developing a passion project on the side - “The Brainy Co” - a social venture creating thoughtfully designed apparel to fund global access to education.
