Jumping right into a new arc and a new game, we start off with something we haven't done since the Fate Core System, character creation! Join us as we build our new team and get a small idea of what's to come in this zero episode. Stick around after the break for the short, but important, prologue to our new adventure. As we dig into the story of the crew of the BD514 and the mechanics of Starfinder in general. After a sketchy hiccup in their plans to steal a ship in the last episode, our crew is finally in the building that holds their quarry. With more than a few good hacks and a couple clever tips of the scale, they make it through the facility with surprising ease. But what's next for the former crew of the BD514? And how will they handle this transaction with Sinjin? With Vohxa at their back and a flimsy story for EJ Corp., the crew tries to settle things with Tar to smooth things over. At the same time, Tar tells them of an invitation from Sinjin to meet, with an offer of another job. After hearing Sinjin's plans, the boys all receive a message that helps to lock in their decision. After a little research and a lot of hacking, they find their quarry, but not before 3 finds himself in a compromising situation. 3 dresses as a janitor, Glenn watches the door, and Doc cuts the loose ends, this week on The Rolled Standard.

This week, we take a break from our regularly scheduled programming to bring you some Mörk Borg! In this, our Halloween Special One-Shot, we take you on a journey with three unfortunate "souls" on a quest to recover their...well, souls. It's our longest episode to date with tons of post-production effects. We had a great time recording it and we hope you have a great time listening to it. Happy Halloween and as always, don't sniff glue! 

Picking up during a tense showdown, our team fights for what they believe. After the dust (snow) has settled, the "team" takes what remains of their cargo to the awaiting Authority armory with their teeth and other body parts clenched tight. They make their drop-off and quickly leave the planet after an interesting interaction with Commander Vash and then the Resistance. 3 lies, Glenn lies, and Doc tells the truth, this week on The Rolled Standard.

After a mixed-up encounter with the bounty hunter, Horizon, the crew takes a job from an associate of Sinjin, a very powerful underworld boss and an old friend of Glenn. Making it to the war-torn planet of Vohxa our guys catch no breaks finding out they have to carry their haul by truck up a mountain. After a strange figure speaks to them about the load they're carrying, the team is "split" with potentially deadly consequences. 3 takes the keys, Doc fires two shots, and Glenn sings "She'll Be Comin Round The Mountain", this week on The Rolled Standard.

With the boys finally home at Absalom Station, they take some time to restock on goods and visit some friends. After another six-day trip in the drift, they make it to Apostae where they hope to pick up an easy job from an acquaintance of Glenn's. Waiting for their meeting, the team gets caught up in some drama they shouldn't have been a part of. Glenn looks for a costume, 3 visits an old fling, and Doc does some interesting research, this week on The Rolled Standard.   

With 52 episodes spanning 7 different games, we decided to do a little reflecting on where we've been. In this bonus episode, for our one-year anniversary, we talk about our favorite arcs and characters, what moments were most impactful to us and the (luckily) few struggles we had to overcome to get here. Even after only making half the expected credits from their delivery, it seems our crew's luck goes from bad to worse. Glenn gets attacked before they can even leave the planet, but they finally make a quick getaway into drift space in the direction of Absalom Station. Of course, nothing can go wrong in drift space, right? I guess we'll find out. Glenn finds out he hates computers, Doc warns against heavy Yo-Yoing, and 3 admits that he never learned to fly, this week in The Rolled Standard.

With their Yaro berries quickly starting to go bad from a week of travel through drift space, our crew finally makes it to Akiton, eager to drop off their cargo and get paid. Taking a surprisingly cheap taxi to Ka Imports, their buyer, our boys soon realize that this job isn't going to be as easy as it seems. After making short work of the junkbot that blocked their path, our new team races to take care of the goblins that have been stealing crates from their shipment. With a fight full of gore thanks to Glenn and a short chase, it finally ends just as the police arrive.  After being held up so long, the trio gets lucky finding some help loading their ship from a few young men that recognize one of the crew. Here we are! A new crew on a new adventure! In this, our (slightly shorter) penultimate episode of this arc, our monstrous trio finally makes their way back to Albuquerque from Silver Lake in an attempt to reach Hubert and put an end to his plans once and for all. With a little bit of "sleight of hand" Charlie finds an easy way into the sewers, and in an attempt to expedite the search, Chase reaches out for some guidance from his old friend and mentor, leading the group to a confrontation with two familiar faces. With their friend missing, Charlie and Gai call Noah to ask for help. With a few potential pieces to the puzzle and a new, otherworldly heading, our monstrous friends make their way to Faerie to see a familiar face. With the help they find there, it seems the mystery is unfolding and the group finally finds time for a rest and to deal with some of their personal issues. Caught in another situation with people dead and police on their way, our monsters finally make it back to the relative safety of their hotel. Grasping for keys, Erix struggles with multiple odd supernatural encounters, all on top of the strange black water showing up once again. With these strange occurrences piling up they decide to make a call to their handler, Noah, who helps put the pieces together. Otherwise, Erix plunges a toilet, Charlie reads some Spanish, and Gai laughs until he cries, this week on The Rolled Standard.

Finding themselves between a rock and a hard place, our monsters get split up. While Erix and Charlie have a moment, Gai finds himself under fire, literally. Worrying for their friend, the other two take off to find a harrowing scene. Surrounded by enemies and Gai nowhere in sight, Charlie takes drastic measures to eliminate the immediate threats. As always, Gai "drives a car", Erix "flies a kite", and Charlie gains, and shortly after, loses some weight. You'll see what I mean in this episode of The Rolled Standard.

In our second episode of Apocalypse Keys we witness our monstrous friends' confidence start to falter. With Charlie sure that he can pull information from a general of the local street gang, things take a turn for the worse when he starts to lose control. It seems their investigation may be falling apart before they even get started. Gai steals a car, Erix calms himself down, and Charlie works on some deconstruction.

In our newest adventure, our three monsters, Erix, Charlie, And Gai, make their way to Albuquerque, New Mexico to investigate a series of potentially supernatural murders within the homeless community there. After sorting through some background information and setting the scene, the boys are on their way. So as usual, Erix throws a pen, Gai gets interested in music, and Charlie smokes a cigarette.

As we leave our small story in the distant future on a literal cliffhanger, we take a little bit of time to look back at the strange otherworldly adventures we had along the way. Some spoilers ahead (12:57 - 21:41) for anyone who is interested in seeing the "alternative" ending to the journey for yourselves. Finally reaching their goal of entering the strange teleporting structure, our little crew is cautiously surprised by what they find. If you're familiar with the Numenera starter set, this is where things take a bit of a (casual?) turn. Umbrus "falls" for a lady, Faroon wants to touch "It", and Kalain finds a good use for his "dog toy" on this, our finale of Numenera.

After taking an extra day of "rest and relaxation" at the taphouse. Deciding on a pharmaceutical fiasco, the crew leaves on a trip across CY through the Metro. As you would expect, it's not just a simple visit to the train station. Linda throws up a tag, Sword lad draws his blade, Les takes some tickets, and Perseus incites a riot, this week on The Rolled Standard.

Welcome everyone to The Ninth World! Where 8 ages before us have climbed to unimaginable heights, and fallen to be all but forgotten. This is Numenera. But all of the amazing stories you could be trying to fathom are, ironically, further ahead of us. Today we start small, nowhere of note with seemingly no one worth speaking of. Three "would be" adventurers are walking through a forest. Sound like the beginning of a joke? You couldn't be more right friends, but it's not for me to spoil the punch line.
