On this night we had Nas & Wu-Tang across the street at Scotiabank arena so it was the perfect night to drop some Hip Hop Classics.  Enjoy this one.

Late Night House - Best of Harbour 60 - November 2021

This night in the bar they wanted some house music so I decided to give them some house music.  Started with some familiar EDM and then took it to a more tech vibe.  Give this one a listen and enjoy what I do best

80s Remix Set - Best of Harbour 60 - November 2021

This was an 80s remix set I played one night in November consisting of 80s house remixes, original tracks, a Prince Tribute, some Freestyle, and 80s Rap.  Was a fun journey playing this 2 and a half hour set

DJ Alex Roc

Welcome to my newest episode.  The theme is "Vocal Therapy". I start of with some cool disco house and then transform to a more deep soulful house vibe.  Enjoy the ride.

DJ Alex Roc

When I recorded this episode I had a Deep House and Soulful vocal feel.   This series is always about bringing you that subtle house that you feel. Enjoy episode 19.

DJ Alex Roc

This episode eases you in with familiar tracks refreshed for 2020.  As you get to the 60 minute mark things get more tech, deep, and hard.  If you close your eyes you can picture that dark room with the bass and beats vibing at 4am.  That's where the vibe took me in this episode.  Enjoy as I know you will.

DJ Alex Roc

Finally back delivering some new podcast mixes.  Martini Mixer 18 gives you that cool disco vibe to lounge too.  Some cool classics, spiced up with a little disco house mix.

Enjoy

DJ Alex Roc

My chill house series Martini Mixer continues with lots of uplifting soulful vocals in many house genres.  Get ready for elements of soul, funk, jazz, disco and gospel.  A touch of afro beats and latin as well.  Everything you would come to expect from one of my favourite series.  Download, stream and enjoy.

DJ Alex Roc

Here is a little something different.  As a DJ I've always had an appreciation for all types of music.  The last few years I've even gotten into listening to Country music just to change it up.  With that in mind I challenged myself to put together a country mix perfect for those long road trips or backyard bbq's.  Hope you enjoy this one.  I had fun putting it together.  Here's the Country mixer by DJ Alex Roc.

This series continues to be one of my favourite.  Nice chill house capturing so many elements of music.  Episode 16 is an instrumental bonanza playing funk, disco, afro jazz.  Don't even know how to describe this one.  Its just so funky.  A summer must play when sipping that Aperol Spritz or Sangria.

Cheers

DJ Alex Roc

After a few throwback series I needed to get back to some house music.  Here is episode 31 of the RocCast.  Afro Beats, Disco Filters, Stabbing Tech synths.  This one gets deep, dark, and puts you in that state of house you crave.  Lots of 3am eyes closed hand raisers and foot stompers.

Enjoy

This episode has been a long time coming.  Many people have asked me for a Euro Mix as far as I can remember.  I've been running this podcast for over 15 years and it was meant to be mostly house music.  But because of the response I've gotten with these Throwback mixes I've finally decided to release The Euro Dance mix everyone has been waiting for.  It all started at the beginning of my career in 1995 at a club in mid Toronto called Taboo.  We were live to air on now known as "Z103.5" at the height of the Euro Dance scene.  The famous night was 5 & 2 Thursdays and people would line up around the block.  This mix is how I remember playing this music.  How I brought it to the dance floor.  Enjoy this Throwback as I won't be doing another Euro Dance mix for awhile.

Great RocCast to bring us into spring.  This one keeps the tempo high with some hard beats, power vocals, some throwback snips.  This one has it all.  This is that nice dirty house that you crave.

Alex Roc

Quick mix of urban hits over the last month or two. For my hip hop peeps.

Alex Roc

If you are ready for something funky, jazzy, and soulful, check out my latest Martini Mixer episode.  This episode we start with some gospel and funk elements, transition to some disco and jazz, and we then wind down with some vocal treats.  Play it in the background while having drinks and enjoy the smooth grooves.

DJ Alex Roc

Time to hit those February blues with some good ol fashion house music.  This episode of the RocCast is flooded with power vocals, disco vibes, classics remixed, tribal afro drums, tech house and everything else I was feeling.  A lot of my recent gigs have taken me away from the music I love.  The RocCast has always been dedicated to my love for house music.  Have a listen and feel what I feel.

I know what everyone is saying... "It's about time!!!".  Nonetheless here is my latest mix and best of all its a RocCast mix which is my House music series.  This one starts with some chill disco and ends with some nice Tribal Latin/Afro beats.  Some tracks may sound familiar but with a twist.  Hope you enjoy this one.  Stay tuned.  More to come.

DJ Alex Roc

Just in time for Victoria Day BBQ here is the Urban Mixtape Episode 4.  My hit mix series featuring the best in Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, Reggaeton, Top 40, EDM and Commercial House.  This 3 hour mix has it all.  First hour sets it up with some Hip-Hop, 2nd hour has some latin and up tempo urban tracks and the last hour we kick it higher with some house and remixes.  Download, stream, enjoy

DJ Alex Roc

Hope your ready for this one.  This is an onslaught of dirty house beats.  Was in a pure stomping mood filled with tribal drums, bass filters, power vocals... you name it.  I was feeling hype while throwing down on this one.  From the minute you hit play get ready for your body to tremble to this house mix. Enjoy.

DJ Alex Roc

Brand new Martini Mixer for 2017.  Get ready for a sweet mix of soul, funk, jazz, disco and some ol sweet vocals.  I really enjoyed this one and hope you do too.

Happy New Year. Welcome to the year 2017.  Here is a new house mix to start the new year right.  To all my house heads get ready for the first RocCast of the season. Download, Stream, Hit play.

DJ Alex Roc

Here is something different. Decided to do an artist tribute mix.  Chose "The Weeknd" as my first artist because he is Canadian and his music is hot right now.  No fancy mixing here just some quick cuts, blends and fades.  This is more about musical enjoyment.  Mix starts off with some House remixes followed by some hip hop sounds and finishing with some pure dirty RnB Soul.  Great for a night in with that special someone. So pop champagne, wear something sexy and get your "Weeknd" on.

DJ Alex Roc

A little late on this one but here is the Urban Mixtape Episode #3.  This is my Top 40 hits series consisting of Hip Hop, R&B, Reggaeton, Reggae, Pop, Trap, EDM basically whatever is considered a hit these days.
